Masseria Torrepietra dates back to the nineteenth century, when the farmer or ‘Massaro’, who lived there all year round, was responsible for the careful tending and harvesting of the 50 Hectares of surrounding olive trees and orchards. We dedicate the same passion to our clients when organising a wedding, a private event, a meeting by simply making your stay in our hotel an unforgettable experience.
The magic of our settings is inspired by the surrounding beauty: Puglia with its endless coastline, washed by crystal clear waters and monuments of immense cultural value, is among one of the most popular tourist destinations in Italy. Among the most beautiful beaches nearby are those of Capitolo with its golden sand or Polignano with its fascinating rocky outcrops.
Also, if you want to sample some of the local culture then you could visit the nearby towns and their famous monuments such as Castel del Monte, the old town of Monopoli, the Caves of Castellana, the Trulli of Alberobello, and Ostuni ‘the white city’ all of which are all worthy of note.
On the other hand, if it’s fun you are looking for fun then it is certainly worth mentioning the Zoo Safari and its amusement park in Fasano. If you visit during the winter then you could also attend the oldest carnival procession in Europe that of Putignano.
