DELUXE SUITE WITH POOL
Perched above the golden sand beach just 40 meters away, with white marble floors and oak treated furniture. Only the iconic colors of Mykonian architecture, white and blue, prevail in this suite.

This luxurious 2 bedroom suite is perfect for outdoor living with a shaded dining patio with access to the infinity private pool (heated upon request), and features lounge chairs, umbrellas, a swinging daybed, outdoor shower and a barbecue setup. A Private Chef can be hired for a BBQ meal.

GRAND SUITE WHIT POOL
These two bedroom suites are set at the two edges of the hotel property to offer privacy and views of the Aegean Sea. They feature a large furnished terrace with infinity private pool (heated upon request), barbecue setup, lounge chairs and a dining area shaded with a pergola.

Made with the finest quality of Greek Marble throughout the bathroom and continued on the bedroom area floor. All rooms feature the Wet Experience bathroom consisting of a 30 cm rain shower and a contemporary, free-standing designer bathtub, next to a sliding door to allow day light and sea views.

The classical Mykonian arch which frames the bedroom space is boldly emphasized in blue with inset ceiling lights like tiny stars. All rooms have a generous terrace with sea views and an open air Jet Tub 1.60X2.00m.

SUPERIOR ROOM SEA VIEW
The Superior Sea View Rooms offer breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea from each balcony, while the lavish and open plan “SPA Bathrooms” come fully equipped with an egg shaped deep soaking tub, separate WC, separate walk-in rain shower and a relaxing steam cabin. Pebbles on the floor add a Zen style and feel in this accommodation.

NAMA RESTAURANT
Mykonos Grand Hotel & Resort “Nama” restaurant is destined to be the centrepiece of its culinary offering. Called Nama after the exquisite sweet wine which is so deeply rooted into the Greek Orthodox tradition and means ‘a gift from God’.

Nama brings together gastronomy based on fine Greek products, delectable wines and breath taking views across the Aegean Sea towards the sacred island of Delos.

The pure design of the restaurant itself offers a seamless play of indoors and outdoors. The design is a response to the land and seascape, the climate and the light. It is intentionally simple.

Nama is roomy, allowing for the generous spacing of tables inside and extensive al fresco dining. There is also a Wine Cellar with a wide range of excellent Greek and international wines, a double-height space which rises to form the backdrop of the restaurant.

The cuisine focuses on taking a contemporary approach towards making classic Greek dishes more sophisticated. Herbs from the hotel garden and fresh seafood featured widely, underlining the quality of the selected ingredients. Nama serves breakfast (a combination of à la carte and buffet), lunch and dinner à la carte.

WINE CELLAR
Embark on a journey of harmony and pleasure for the palate and explore our thoughtfully selected wines. Set to become the ultimate private venue for wine aficionados, the wine cellar offers diners bespoke wine classes, tastings, food and wine pairings as well as private events.

A double-height space which rises to form the backdrop to the Nama restaurant; the Wine Cellar features a grand dining table and an array of unique wines.

Nama Restaurants’ Sommelier is set to showcase wine tastings. Sit-down tasting events are intimate, with only 10 guests. Ideal for pre-wedding tastings or dinners for small groups, it is available for exclusive hire for private events with dedicated and personalized activities being created to match guests’ tastes.

POOL DECK AREA BY SUNSET

THE SWIMMING POOL 
Our expanded heated 500sqm sea water hotel pool features private conversation areas interspersed through the expansive deck. It is approximately 35 meters long, and 2.5 meters deep at its deepest.

The chaises longues grouped on the pool’s deck are ideal for sunbathing, afternoon siestas, or for watching the magnificent sunsets over the Aegean – pool desks have been designed to offer expansive sea views and are facing west.

Our Mykonos Hotel Pool attendants cater to guests’ needs with towels and cooling amenities. The outdoor hot tub is located a level below the pool area, to offer the perfect setting for rare moments of romance and tranquility.

Our Fitness Centre is spread out in 85 sqm, and is equipped with an integrated collection of Technogym cardio, strength and functional equipment, invite guests to continue – or begin – healthy lifestyle pursuits.

MYKONOS ISLAND
Mykonos is a grand example of unique Cycladic architecture set around a picturesque fishing-village bay. Totally whitewashed organic cube-like buildings fit closely together to form a kind of haphazard maze of narrow alleyways and streets.

Its many well-preserved windmills and hundreds of tiny red-roofed churches add a flavor of culture and custom to the scene, enhanced even further by many museums and the historical ancient site of nearby Delos.

Together with being friendly and open people, the locals have a healthy understanding of Greek Hospitality. Put this together with all the island’s other qualities and it is no wonder Mykonos has been often called “the jewel” of the Aegean Sea.

Mykonos owes its name to the son of the King of Delos. According to the mythology, Hercules, in one of his twelve tasks, killed the Giants and threw them into the sea where they petrified and turned into huge rocks, forming the island of Mykonos.

During ancient times, Mykonos, due to its proximity to Delos, which was then highly populated, became very important as a supply island. The short 2-kilometer distance between the islands was frequently travelled, since religious rules specified that no one should be born or die on Delos.

Around the time of Alexander the Great the island became a commercial centre for agriculture and maritime trade. In 1207, like the rest of the Cyclades, Mykonos came under Venetian rule which lasted until 1537, when the Turks dominated the islands along with the rest of Greece.

The inhabitants were great sailors, so they provided important help to the Greek Revolution against the Turkish yoke, in 1821, offering 22 ships, crew and ammunition.

After the country’s independence in 1830, the island’s economy and commercial power were slowly but steadily re-established. In the period between World War I and II, visitors were attracted here mainly by the archaeological site of Delos.

During the ’50s, modern-day tourism started to grow, along with the island’s population, but it was in the following two decades of the ’60s and the ’70s that, thanks to the likes of Jackie O and numerous other jetsetters, the island was turned into one of the most cosmopolitan holiday resorts in the world.

Nowadays Mykonos is the hip holiday queen of the Mediterranean. From its chic restaurants and elite boutiques to its vibrant beach bars and mega-clubs -Scorpios, Nammos, Solymar, Principοte, Alemagou, Jacκie O and Cavo Paradiso, to name but a few.
