Puerto Bemberg is a jungle boutique hotel with personalized service. The Lodge is strategically located in the Misiones jungle, in a private natural reserve located 35 minutes away from Iguazu Falls.

Trails, natural waterfalls, rivers, trees, native plants, birds and fauna of the jungle; characterize the environment of the Lodge that is certified as a sustainable tourism hotel by Rain Forest Alliance.

The Hotel was built from an old house owned by the traditional Bemberg Family, which has been completely renovated respecting the original architecture.

All spacious rooms feature large windows and a private patio, allowing the traveler to contemplate the jungle. They have been tastefully decorated maintaining its colonial style with a combination of natural and local materials.

The hotel features a gourmet author restaurant with international and regional cuisine, a pool surrounded by jungle, boating activities, trekking and jungle interpretation. The lodge has wi fi in the rooms and common areas, and outdoor parking.

ROOMS
Preserving colonial architecture, Puerto Bemberg has twelve superior rooms, one deluxe and one suite with private terrace viewing Parana River; all of them wide, fresh, with high roofs and native furniture designed by artists.

Decoration breathes the environment’s sensuality and invites you to ease and observe. Its unique style outstands with colorful bed wood headboards, coming from La Boca’s (Buenos Aires) tenement houses. Land colors, llama blankets, pure cotton sheets.

Restaurant 
The Restaurant, for few people, is open for every visitor, offering a different menu with fine details and special accuracy when presenting the dishes.

Cuisine at Puerto Bemberg provides with international excellence, Misiones jungle colors, shapes and flavors. Inspiration and Native imaginary guide the least expected combinations and the most curious and perfect presentations.

A mixture of fusion and haute cuisine, each season has its temperatures, textures and colors: chipa, Misiones antipasto, Paraguay soup, caper sorubim fish, Pacu, tropical fruits sauces, smashed manioc, and mate ice cream are some of its specialties.

Vegetables served are mainly cultivated in the hotel. Signature dishes with native elements and an International touch and barbecues with delicious salads are part of the culinary proposal.

Every day you can find the daily menu and the food will be served where the Chef decides it to; therefore, it could be in the restaurant, the Wine Cellar, the Mate place, the viewpoint, Guatambú area, the Raft or Bemberg House.

You should always be aware of the day schedule to know time and place of each meal. During the day, the Lodge restaurant serves coffee à la carte. Requests may be served in the restaurant, the pool, viewpoint or the wine cellar.

Breakfast
Enjoy a unique daily breakfast with the view of the Misiones jungle.

Swimming Pool
Surrounded by the jungle, its 20 meters and services makes it an ideal place for relaxing, refreshing and enjoying beverages and snacks.

Library and Living
The over 2500-book library makes it a unique literary Inn. Contemporary art, Latin American and European artists, local and International XX’s century literature and dozens of other subjects illustrate the library, built with the boards of the old soccer field of Newell’s (Rosario, Argentina).

The living-room has wide windows and a grand piano, inviting guest to read a book enjoy Guarani music concerts and observe nature’s language. Pause, poetry and reflection.

Viewpoint
Across the garden from the gallery to the dining room, there is a hallway to our viewpoint. A special place to enjoy sunset. On the canopy, you can be embezzled by Parana River, trees foliage and the open sky.

The Chapel
Located on Parana riverside, it was built by renowned Argentine architect Alejandro Bustillo with colonial style. The Chapel is dedicated to Itatí Virgin. You may be surprised by its original black and white vitraux brought from France and its orientation to the river.

At same point of history, parishioners followed Sunday mass from their canoes. There are weddings or special celebrations that can take place there with previous request.

Wine Cellar
A huge mural from renowned artist Eduardo Hoffmann recreates the antique vapor in Bemberg Port in the early history of Bemberg Family in the area. The Wine Cellar has 1500 bottles of 80 different labels mainly from Argentina. It is not only used as a bar, but also as playroom.

The Weather
There is a subtropical weather, dry Season, with high temperature variations, nights are not very hot. Rains appear during most of the year with the following frequency for each season: Spring and Summer every 8 days; Autumn every 6 days and in Winter every 4 days. Average temperature for each one of the four seasons is:

  • Spring: 25.5°C
  • Summer: 30° C
  • Autumn: 21.5° C
  • Winter: 16.5°C.
