Prati Palai Bardolino

Prati Palai is part of a farm with properties in the plain of Verona and Lake Garda. The property consists of two lands named Colombarone and Vignol, which were once used in the service of the main villa and have now been turned into eighteen hectares of woodland, gardens, cultivations and olives groves, each with a wonderful view of the lake.

At the moment the estate, after a careful restoration work of the house Colombarola, has eight spacious suites and a smaller room equipped for people with disabilities.

Outside guests will find a pool surrounded by olive trees, meadows, woods with hiking trails and picnic spots, a nearby tennis court and a curious bowling alley, perfect for pleasant days immersed in nature, just a step away from the lake and the center of Bardolino.

Despite the fact that we don’t offer a proper restaurant service, in addition to breakfast (also served to your rooms upon request), during the day it is always possible to eat something: nothing pretentious, but simple dishes such as salads, fruit salads or sandwiches mainly made with local and homemade products.

Prati Palai isn’t a hotel; our idea of hospitality towards guests is closer to a private country house overlooking the lake, with all the comforts and services of a resort, but without the impersonality of a simple hotel.

THE SUITES
Inside La Colombarola, after a careful restoration we obtained eight suites and a smaller room, different among each other, but sharing the same philosophy. They are up to date without altering the building, with modern solutions but perfectly in line with the characteristics and the character of the house, a five-star comfort but not fake luxury.

Even the furniture cannot be defined with a single term, with a single style, because we wanted to recreate, as we did for the architectural restoration, something timeless.

Prati Palai is not and does not want to be a hotel, but neither is the classic agriturismo, a country mansion overlooking Lake Garda. All of our rooms have air conditioning and satellite TV. The suites have a living room, separate from the bedroom.

The junior suites are open spaces or rooms in which the living area is not clearly separated from the sleeping area. Suites and junior suites have a minimum area of ​​40 square meters.

No. 1 double room: Double room of about 22 sq m, on the ground floor and equipped for people with disabilities. The room faces the garden and is upstream the building, giving the chance to have an independent entrance. The room consists of a double bed and a bathroom with shower.

No. 2 suite: Suite of about 60 sq m, on the ground floor, facing both mountain and lakeside. It consists of a spacious sitting area, bathroom with shower and double bedroom – if preferred you can have two single beds or it is possible to add a single bed in the living room.

No. 3 junior suite: Junior suite of about 45 sq m, on the first floor, with a double facing. Situated on two levels, at first you can find a small hall, a living room with a bath and a bathroom with shower, on the next level there is a large double bedroom, from which you have a double perspective of the surrounding countryside, on one hand the pool area surrounded by olive trees and native species and on the other the green meadow.

No. 4 suite: Suite of about 60 sq m, on the first floor, with a double facing. From this room you can fully appreciate the surrounding landscape, on one side facing the mountain with a hilly landscape, green meadows and typical crops of the area, and on the other side the coast of Lake Garda. The suite consists of a spacious sitting area, bathroom with shower and a double bedroom – if preferred you can have two single beds or it is possible to add a single bed in the living room.

No. 5 junior suite: Junior Suite is about 38 sq m, located on the first floor and divided into two levels. It consists of a double bedroom, bathroom with shower of a particular pentagonal shape and a large double-height living room facing on one side the court below and on the other the coast of Lake Garda.

No. 6 junior suite: Junior Suite is about 41 sq m, located on the first floor, on two levels. At first there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with a pentagonal shaped shower and on the next level you can find a living room with a bath facing the room below. Wooden beams on the ceiling enrich the environment and a large skylight lights the living room. From these spaces you can fully enjoy the picturesque view of the natural landscape and the coast of Lake Garda.

No. 7 junior suite: Junior suite of about 50 sq m, located on the first floor. This environment is characterized by a single space divided into several areas: entrance hall, a central area with a double bed and in the end a living room. The bathroom is characterized by a circular shower illuminated by solartube and a vertical slit in the wall that allows a view of the room. The room has a double facing, on one side you can admire the countryside with the pool and from a second opening, in line with the environment, you see the coast of Lake Garda.

No. 8 junior suite: Junior suite of about 50 sq m, located on the second floor. It is divided into two separate areas, a first room with double bed and bathroom with shower and a second living room with a bath. The rooms are lit by an opening that faces upstream and by two large skylights.

No. 9 suite: Suite of 60 sq m, located on the second floor with double facing. Wooden roof beams characterize the space. It consists of a spacious sitting area, bathroom with shower and a double bedroom. A circular opening from the bedroom allows a view of Punta San Vigilio.
