A charming Relais is located in the heart of Umbria: it is Relais Todini. Immersed in a warm and welcoming environment, Relais Todini sits on a hilltop surrounded by the vineyards of the 1000 hectare estate, which belongs to the historical Tuder family from whom the Period Relais takes its name.

Relais Todini boasts stone and terracotta rooms with frescoes, fireplaces, tapestries and a combination of modern and period furnishings which make the communal spaces and the 12 rooms / suites quite unique with all possible comfort.

The building has light and spacious rooms, indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, a reading area, a meeting room, an outdoor swimming pool with an amazing view, a tennis court and a gym.

Services include a well-being center, which is run by our team of professionals and which offers a wide range of massages and personalized treatments with HUR products, a suite dedicated to wine baths, a chromotherapic Turkish bath and a striking outdoor maxi heated Jacuzzi with views over Todi.

THE HISTORY
The Todini empire was founded by Franco Todini, who was knighted for his services to industry. He first began in the building trade in the 1960s. The building trade grew rapidly in the 1970s which is when the Todini commercial farm was opened in Todi. Today, this farm is thriving and boasts a small winery, a breeding farm and vast hunting grounds.

In 1994 a manor house dating from the twelfth century was added to the property. It was renovated in 1997 and transformed into a 5 star period residence: the Relais Todini.
The commercial farm and the production of wine have slowly grown, and a new winery was opened in 2008.

At the end of 2014, Luisa Todini (daughter of Franco), takes control of the companies in Todi and began a significant upheaval of the business: Relais Todini was completely renovated; the winery was restyled and production was modernized; the animal park and the hunting grounds were also restructured.

The 8 rooms and 4 suites are all equipped with every comfort and will all help make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. They have recently been renovated with both modern and antique furniture representing the refined little towns of Umbria.

L’Altro Relais is an elegant restaurant that offers breath-taking views of the city of Todi and it is an integral part of the structure. It has recently been embellished with a majestic fully visible kitchen and new furnishings. The restaurant offers a selection of local specialties, traditional Umbrian cuisine and wild game.

Guests can enjoy two large panoramic dining areas which can be booked for all kinds of events, seating up to 150 people. The kitchen can be seen from all sides and the Chef also offers courses in cooking and schedules show cooking events.

LEO WILD PARK
The vast property is inhabited by all sorts of creatures including many exotic species, who have found a favorable habitat for their development and reproduction. The Leo Wild Park teaching farm is an oasis tucked between the Umbrian hills, a child’s dream of beloved animals brought to life by that same child grown to manhood.

It is a magical, wild place where you can live in contact with nature and its creatures, enjoying the typical daily life of a breeder. Make the acquaintance at the park of many species of cameloids, donkeys, horses, barnyard animals, various species of ducks, as well as giraffes, zebras and flamingoes.

EXCURSIONS
Relais Todini is immersed in 1000 hectares of land where scents, colors and flavors blend together to delight guests with unforgettable moments of relaxation.

On our vast grounds – among the vineyards, olive groves, artificial lakes and woodlands, guests can enjoy the naturally tranquil surroundings, and relax by the pool whilst taking in the stunning views of Todi. Guests can also enjoy walks or mountain-bike rides around parts of the grounds, in a regenerating silence during any season.

SOFT RAFTING
The route of the descent is located in the Nera River Park, in the section that runs between the towns of Ferentillo and Arrone for 5 kilometers, for groups of at least 6 people. Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 55, must be in good health and know how to swim, and must weigh under 100 kg.

WINE TASTING
At Relais Todini, love for wine is an art that is cultivated by generations: the nuances of each bottle, the various shades of color and the scent they emanate are the basis of the fundamental notions with respect to this precious drink.

Wine tours are organized in the Todini family winery. After the tastings, customers purchased the bottles produced directly in the large and sunny vineyards of the estate. Tasting of 3 wines with a platter of salami and cheese at our wine cellar.

GOLF
The Relais offers its guests an exclusive convention with Golf de L’Antognolla which is about 70km away. Santa Sabina Golf is approximately 60 km away.
