Our hotel is just a ten-minute walk from the beach by following the main road, and its central location makes it the favourite destination of many guests who can’t wait to come back and visit us every year.

You can also reach the beach within 5-min walking by the stairs mentioned in a famous classic Neapolitan song: “Scalinatella longa longa, strittulella strittulella, saglie ‘ncielo e scinne a mmare”, which means “Long, long stairway, narrow narrow, it goes up to heaven and down to the sea”. Just like an old melody, Hotel Reginella will be hard to forget.

THE HISTORY
What is presently our hotel was first built as the historical home of a nineteenth-century noblewoman, Reginella, who is also mentioned in a famous Neapolitan song; Positano had a place in her heart, and she loved spending unforgettable moments by the sea.

Her villa became a favorite destination for artists and poets who visited the Amalfi Coast. The building still retains the warmth and hospitality that characterized the noble home of Reginella.

Hotel Reginella will enter your heart like a romantic and dreamy nineteenth-century novel, to be read from cover to cover: impossible to forget.

All rooms have the Positano-style colors and charm. They are full of history, and they have been chosen for hundreds of years by artists, writers, and poets for their stays in Positano.

The artist Ibrahim Kodra stayed in one of our rooms, documenting his passage with works donated to our hotel that we have proudly displayed so that you can also experience the thrill of closely admiring the genius of this Cubist maestro.
