Overlooking the gentle banks of the romantic Lake Como, Relais Villa Vittoria opens to the guests wishing to relive the atmosphere which at one time enchanted poets, writers and sophisticated travelers.

​The story of this ancient villa is unique: in fact, during the second half of the nineteenth Century, its mulberry garden was used for the raising silkworms to produce precious silk used in creating the unique fabrics and accessories that have made the Como area famous worldwide.

The villa was later used as a summer holiday resort by a noble Milanese family and now, completely renovated, offers high quality standards while maintaining its past charm.

SUITE PRESTIGE
The most exclusive Suite, the lake view Suite Prestige located on the main floor, is characterized by black and white tones that give it a touch of elegance and sophistication.

Adorned with crystal chandeliers and an old pink marble fireplace, it is divided between a bedroom with terrace from which to enjoy the spectacular views of the Lake and a sitting room with a comfortable double sofa bed. Large bathroom with marble washbasin, Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower.

LAKE VIEW SUITE
The Lake View Suite is located on the second floor of the Villa and it is decorated with warm sandy tones and the pale pink color-decorated furnishings that give it a romantic atmosphere. The bedroom features a writing desk, four-poster bed and balcony with charming lake views.

The sitting room with antique stone fireplace features a comfortable double sofa bed. The large, cherry-colored bathroom has a double upright marble sink and shower/tub combination Jacuzzi.

THE TERRACE
The terrace of the restaurant Le Luci del Lago with an enchanting view of the lake, allows during the summer months, to enjoy a refined dinner in the open air. Fresh ingredients are served, from traditional Italian cuisine and from the Lario region are served.

Not just dinners! A complete breakfast is served every morning and at sunset you can enjoy the classic aperitif on the lake view terrace. Lunch and dinner time: every day from 12.00 to 14.00 and from 19.00 to 22.00

THE VERANDA
On cold or rainy days our restaurant Le Luci del Lago moves to the veranda located on the panoramic terrace and made even more welcoming by a fireplace, walls in warm tones and a breathtaking view of Lake Como.

The restaurant offers a refined and artfully created cuisine and is a fantastic place to experience the tradition of Italian cuisine. Lunch and dinner time: every day from 12.00 to 14.00 and from 19.00 to 22.00

THE WINERY
The lake wine cellar dug in the rock. Original and typical lake grotto with a warm and refined atmosphere created by the lights on the ceiling and the lanterns.
Here you can also find a small cellar with the bar. Enjoy our fine selection of wines and spirits.

THE POOL RESTAURANT
Guests can relax by the infinity pool in the garden by the lake or enjoy a drink in one of the small lounges in the shade of the jasmine pergola, here they can enjoy one of our Mediterranean light lunches.

ROMANTIC CORNERS FOR 2
For romantic candlelit dinners, the Relais offers, by reservation, perfect corners in the shade of a jasmine gazebo or a wisteria balcony, overlooking Lake Como.

Lanterns and candles will delight your dinner for two and create a romantic and private atmosphere. In case of rain there is a small nautical greenhouse or a romantic veranda overlooking the lake.

​PIAZZETTA TERRACE
On the wooden terrace on the second level ‘La Piazzetta’ an aperitif is served every day from 18.00 to 21.30. On days when the terrace is not booked, we will be happy to make it available to you for aperitifs and relaxation. It can be reserved for small events.

PIC NIC BASKET
Make your trip or boat tour special by bringing a picnic basket with you. Fill out the menu you will find at the reception or download it by clicking the button below. You can deliver it to the Reception the previous evening and your take away basket will be ready the following morning!

WELLNESS WITH VIEW
A Wellness Corner with view, intimate and refined with oriental decors perfect to revitalize the body and restore the spirit. On the second lake-terrace there is the Wellness Corner in refined oriental decors perfect place where revitalize the body and restore the spirit.

The main room has a large Jacuzzi that can hold 4 to 6 people, a chill-out area with the spectacular view of the lake and a Tea Corner, a shower and a Steam room with a starry blue sky. In the Massage Room it is possible to have several types of personalized treatments, rituals and massages accompanied by aroma candles.

​Our Wellness Corner is small and intimate and it is therefore advisable to reserve it. The whirlpool, steam room, shower and relax area are offered services only for the guests of Relais Villa Vittoria and are at your disposal from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

Please book at least 3 hours in advance to facilitate the preparation of the hot tub and the steam room. Massages can be booked from 9.00 am until 7.00 pm and must be booked in advance at the Reception. Please provide 24 hours notice if you must cancel or reschedule your service to avoid being charged a full service fee.

​The Relais offers different rooms and Suites with ancient taste combined with every modern amenity. An historical villa directly on the lake, a perfect place to stay for groups who want to celebrate by staying together in the intimacy of a private villa, but with all the Hotels’ services and facilities.

Relais Villa Vittoria offers a variety of distinctive indoor and outdoor locations ideal for private events of any kind… from intimate, romantic dinners to dream weddings, from family reunions to bachelorette parties, from milestone birthdays to special occasions it is also possible to organize dinner with piano bar music in the main hall.

​We offer a beautiful pergola with a romantic lake view garden for renewals. For multi-day events, we can recommend you the best external providers to augment your wedding festivities beyond one single celebration.

A romantic place for weddings or parties where we are able to accommodate up to a maximum of 68 people for a seated dinner (Main Hall capacity) or 80 people in case the dinner is set in the gardens. For groups over 30 people, the exclusive use of the Villa and the reservation of all rooms is required.

DISCO
​The disco in the winery is available only in case of exclusive rental of the entire Villa. Typical cellar of the Lario area carved into the rock, it is a welcoming environment with a refined atmosphere that, if necessary, turns into a private disco.

Composed of two areas connected to each other by a common area. A cave houses a careful selection of wines from various regions of Italy and where you will find a small bar suitable for celebrations. On the opposite side there is a second cave used as a dance floor.

COMO LAKE
In 2014 Lake Como was classified by The Huffington Post as the most beautiful lake in the world, for its microclimate and its surroundings characterized by small villages and sumptuous villas.

LAGLIO, BRIENNO AND NESSO
Laglio, a town now known for the residence of actor George Clooney, (who purchased the splendid Villa Oleandra in 2002) is located on the western shore of Lake Como.

Above the hamlet of Torriggia there is the famous ‘Buco dell’Orso’, a cave made up of three underground lakes. Brienno is one of the oldest villages, remained virtually unchanged for over a century.

​Nesso is located along the road from Como to Bellagio. The village, with its typical houses, meets around the two main attractions: the Orrido waterfall and the medieval bridge of Civera.

COMACINA ISLAND & LENNO
Take two hours to visit this pearl on Lake Como, the only way to reach Comacina Island is by boarding from Sala Comacina. On the island it is possible to walk in the luxuriant nature, you can admire several Roman remains and the ruins of the Roman Basilica dedicated to Saint Euphemia.

Not far away, continuing along the shores of the lake, you will find Lenno with its Villa Balbianello, this villa is owned by Fai and has become famous for being part of the set of the film 007 – Casino Royale and an episode of the saga ‘Star Wars ‘.

OSSUCCIO AND TREMEZZO
Ossuccio is a village of pre-Roman origin located on the western shore of the lake. Its most famous attraction is the Sacro Monte where the Sanctuary of the Vergine del Soccorso stands, which preserves a statue of the Virgin.

​Located on the slopes of Mount Procione is the enchanting village of Tremezzo characterized by the sumptuous Villa Carlotta.

The seventeenth-century villa, now turned into a museum, contains sculptures by Canova and Thorvaldsen, not to be missed, the wonderful Italian botanical garden with a variety of over 500 species of plants.

CERNOBBIO, MOLTRASIO AND TORNO
Cernobbio, on the western shore, is a renomated international tourist resort, famous for its majestic villas and promenades along the lakefront. In Moltrasio, famous for its limestone quarries, the musician Vincenzo Bellini and the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill stayed.

​Illustrious guests such as: Napoleon, Alessandro Manzoni, Ugo Foscolo, Stendhal, Byron, Giuseppe Verdi, Vincenzo Bellini and Rossini stayed in the rooms of Villa Pliniana. To see in Torno: the Parish Church of Santa Tecla with its ancient bell tower and the Church of San Giovanni Battista del Chiodo.

BELLAGIO
Bellagio, also called the pearl of Lake Como, is a renowned village located halfway between the two brunches of the lake, it is an international tourist destination and attracts millions of tourists every year.

Do not miss the famous and historic Villa Melzi in Bellagio owned by the Melzi d’Eril family with its museum and its amazing gardens.

LEZZENO AND VARENNA
On the eastern shore, you find Lezzeno. From here you can admire a wonderful view of the lake and see Villa Balbianello and the Comacina Island in the distance.

Varenna is a small village located on a promontory of Lake Como at the mouth of the Esino stream. Varenna looks like an oil painting, is characterized by narrow streets, narrow alleys and colorful houses that are reflected in the water.

Among the main attractions: the medieval church of San Giorgio, Villa Cipressi and Villa Monastero.

COMO ATTRACTIONS:

• ​Como Cathedral: Como Cathedral is the last of the Gothic cathedrals built in Lombardy. OPENING HOURS: weekdays from 10:30 to 17:00 – Sunday from 13:00 to 16:30
• ​Palazzo Broletto: Built in medieval times, it is now the seat of the Como town hall. It hosts art exhibitions and exhibitions.
• ​Porta Torre: It is an imposing fortress, 40 meters high, built in 1192 to defend the most important entrance to the city of Como.
• ​Porta Romana: It is possible to visit the monumental remains of the “Porta Pretoria” during the days and opening hours of the Archaeological Museum, by reservation only. OPENING HOURS: from Tuesday to Sunday: from 10.00 to 18.00
• Markets: The Covered Market in Via Mentana 5 is open every day from Monday to Saturday. Inside there is also the Agricultural Market of the Comaschi Producers, open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning with direct sale (from producer to consumer) of local products.
• Bio-markets: The market for local and organic producers is held every Saturday from 8 to 12 in Como-Rebbio, in the Comboni Missionary park in Via Salvadonica 3, along Via Varesina.
• Antiquariato e Artigianato: In Piazza San Fedele, the antiques market takes place on the first Saturday of each month and the craft market on the second, third and fourth Saturday of each month.
• ​Outlet: The Foxtown outlet in Mendrisio (Switzerland) offers 160 stores and 250 brands. Open daily from 11:00 to 19:00.

BRUNATE
In Piazza De Gasperi, where the funicular station is located, it is possible to reach Brunate in about 7 minutes. The town is also called the “balcony” of the Alps for the breathtaking panorama it offers.

Walking through the hills you can admire many splendid Art Nouveau villas and you can reach San Maurizio where the Voltiano Lighthouse, built in 1927, stands. A spiral staircase of 143 steps allows you to get to the pitch on the top from which you can enjoy a priceless view.

During the night, the lighthouse illuminates Como and the valley below with beams of white, red and green lights. Of course, you can also visit Brunate by walk.

​CASTEL BARADELLO
From Piazza San Rocco, or from Piazza Camerlata you can reach (by walk – 20 minutes) Castel Baradello, rebuilt on the remains of the oldest fortifications by Federico I of Svevia, called Barbarossa, in the XII century. Inside the tower there is a small museum.
