Tachibana Shikitei is situated in“Yunogawa” the side of Yamashiro Hot spring, boasting a history of 1,300 years and in which you can feel unchanged hospitality
from the beginning of Meiji era.
Yamashiro Hot spring where the hotels were built to just surround the public bath and a city scape was made. In this sense, from the meaning of hot water surrounding the hot water,we began to call this area around the public bath “the side of hot spring” (Yunogawa).

HIRAGANA’s Omotenashi
The basic concept of our hospitality “HIRAGANA’s Omotenashi” gained attention from the softness and the kindness of the impression that we receive from Hiragana. (HIRAGANA means one of the way of writing Japanese characters.)
Natural warms possessed by paulownia on the floor means “Heart”(Kokoro) that welcomes guests warmly and hospitable. Also, do you know that HIRAGANA has a deep edge in the ground of a mountain castle?
The edge is that priest MYOKAKU who was the chief priest of YAKUOUIN temple about 1,000 years ago is said to be “a founder of a table of the 50 Japanese syllabary”. Still, you can see the people walk away “Path of AIUEO” from Yakuouin Temple which is derived from the Priest GYOGI in the front of our hotel.

In the room, the paintings drawn by the predecessor and the former generation of Tachibana Shikitei and the Kurani pottery vases collected by them,floors covered by natural innocuous paulownia, handle of kutani ware, hanging scrolls and arrangement of flower which are changed every season, it is a hospitality of Shikitei.
You can feel the taste of Yamashiro everywhere. Also, you can see from the window of the room, the grove of a village shrine of the Hattori Shrine Yakuouin temple.
The scenery changes its taste in spring, summer, autumn, winter, and every season looks like a picture in one width, so you can relax and forget the time goes by.

Dishes made from local ingredients season by season
Hokuriku is just a treasure trove of ingredients throughout the four season. As well as Kaiseki cuisine full of seasonal taste, we invite you to enjoy a variety of Kaga’s taste which has been carefully examined for organic vegetables, fishes and shellfishes based on natural products as ingredients.
Red squid (Ishikawa Noto production)
Red squid in Ishikawa Prefecture is a member of Kensaki squid and is a high-class squid that is thick, soft and slightly sweet and is said to be the king of squid. It is said to be good for arteriosclerosis and liver disease because it is low in calories and contains a lot of copper and plays an important role in hematopoiesis.
Banju shellfish(Ishikawa Noto production)
Manju shellfish can not only be taken around Takamatsu in Ishikawa Prefecture, making it a valuable shellfish. It is characterized by a strong persimmon scent and is soft and sweet. It is also known as scallop (sara-gai) and white shellfish (shiro-gai).
Crab
The fishing ground of the Hashidate fishing port, A warm current and a cold current conflict, and the bottom of the sea is blessed with rich nutrition, A crab and the fishery products are blessed with nutritious bait, I pack it with fresh taste closely and am very delicious.

One pair per day only – Premium hospitality
One group per day, dinner is not ordinary Kaiseki cuisine only for the customers for Japanese and Western style room at our hotel, there is premium hospitality course which the head chef of our hotel will visit your room, you can enjoy freshly made items making cooking in front of you, mainly with Sushi and Tenpura.
It is a hospitality filled with a hot thought of head chef who wants to have a hearty moment in each dish that is made in front of you.
Breakfast
The hotel’s breakfast is set till late to 10 o’clock in the morning. As with dinner, the breakfast will be served in your room.
Please enjoy slowly “Koshihikari” (a kind of Rice) from Ishikawa Prefecture purchased directly from local contract farmers and the menu that used of the local ingredients. Changed to western food are also accepted.

Women’s public bath「Sakon no Yu」
Source is poured without a break into the granite bathtub. Women will be happy with the partition of washroom and the powder room at changing room.
Surrounded by trees, there is a garden open-air bath where you can enjoy a hot tub in the sunlight through the trees. A source that is not mixed is poured from the outlet.
A lot of amenities
In the dressing room for women’s bath, we prepare the separate powder room with separate partitions. A lot of amenities are available in the powder room for dressing after taking bath.
In addition, we are permanently establishing hand towels and bath towels that you can use freely at dressing room so that you can save the trouble of bringing it from your room and feel free to enjoy the hot spring.
Tea service
We offer 2 kinds of tea at powder room on a weekly basis, such as Kaga roasted tea, Tochu tea (Chinese tea), black bean tea, rose hip tea, green tea, ginger tea etc. Please enjoy and feel freezing cold tea for a hot body with bath.
Spend 23 hours luxuriously
Our check-in time is from 1pm, and check-out time is noon. We arrange the time as above because we hope you can fully enjoy the stay as long as possible.
All meals are prepared in your room.
One is because we want you to have pleasant meal in the relaxing space, the other we serve freshly cooked rice according to your meal. The rice is grown by local farmer.
Comfortable floor by bare foot
Cooler in summer, warmer in winter. All floors are covered by natural innocuous paulownia. Please try it by bare foot. The fragrance and the warmth of paulownia are transmitted to the skin and also the mind is healed by its warmth.

Females can choose Yukata from 200 types, and males can ware SAMUE(a kind of Yukata). Please try exploring in town of Yamashiro with your favorite Yukata.

Omotenashi
We take care of hospitality for guests. After check-in, we prepare sweets made in Kaga and matcha in your room. You can have sorbet at the lounge from 2 to 6pm.
We prepare Yukata twice in the morning and the evening. After taking bath, towels and kinds of drinks such as natural water, Kaga roasted tea is available.
Yamashiro Onsen Kosoyu
“Experience type hot spring museum” restored the public bath in Meiji era, you can enjoy not only appearance and interior but also history and culture of hot spring while bathing.
Yamashiro Onsen Soyu
The place where “Soyu” was built is the site of the building “Rosanjin”, which is related to “ex-Yoshinoya-Ryokan”. Enter through the gate of Yoshinoya which makes you feel history and formality.
Yakuoin Temple
