Preference for an open planned or closed bathroom can be stated upon booking. Sediba offers serene tranquility and a connection to nature. As part of this experience there are no televisions in the villas. Please be aware that due to our remote location, the mobile phone coverage and Wi-Fi signal is rather poor.

Mountain Lodge
With four high-end double villas and one spacious family suite, Mountain Lodge is the more intimate of our two lodges. The suites offer an unforgettable view of the reserve and are conveniently located at walking distance from the main lodge.
Here, you’ll find a well-stocked bar and lounge area with fireplace, infinity pool with sundeck and stunning view, and an entertaining Boma dining area that turns meal-time into a spectacular event.

Meals
Wake-up and start your day with a delicious selection of cereals, dairy, pastries, bread and fresh fruit at our extensive breakfast buffet. Coffee, tea, various types of eggs, (French) toast and pancakes can be ordered separately during breakfast time.
Throughout the day you can enjoy a 3-course lunch and 3-course dinner of fusion cuisine with African specialties. All meals are included and any dietary requirements can be met.
Dining Areas
The same table at the same place for every meal? Not at Sediba! With various dining areas throughout the resort, we offer you a different dining location every night. Our main lodge offers a lounge overlooking the terrace and valley where you can meet and mingle with other guests.
What about mealtime al fresco on one of the decks? We offer an unforgettable dinner in our unique Rock Boma or traditional Boma (weather permitting). For the extra quiet types, we also offer intimate and peaceful in-room dining upon request.
In-room dining
For those special moments: we can arrange dinner in your own suite upon request. Surprise your loved one with a quiet, romantic meal under the stars.
Snuggle up with entrees next to the fireplace or have a nibble of dessert in the privacy of your own Jacuzzil! We’ll do our best to fulfil your culinary (and experience) wishes.
Lounge and bar
Our main lodges have atmospheric bar and lounge areas to sit, relax and enjoy the view or to mingle with other guests. Get a taste of the excellent selection of South African wines or pick a good book from our library and sit by the fireplace with your favourite beverage.
Whatever quenches your thirst, our well-stocked bars offer a plethora of wine, local beers, spirits and alcohol-free drinks.
Bush Picnics
You might know the saying ‘sleeping with the fishes’? You can experience an exciting bush picnic upon request* where you will be able to visit the bushman paintings. These drives last up to 4-5 hours and are bound to become one of the most memorable experiences of your stay.
Sundowners
Enjoy the tradition of sundowners. It doesn’t matter where you are – on your private deck, in the pool, by the bar or even out on safari: African happy hour during sunset happens everywhere! Enjoy the perfect end of the day with a cocktail or two and look forward to tomorrow.

Spoil yourself just a little more and visit our luxurious spa, beauty salon and/or sauna facilities. Book a beauty treatment or relaxing massage and let our professional and experienced staff pamper you with superior service.
Can’t sit still? For those who’d like to workout, Rock Lodge offers a fully equipped gym to keep you moving. Transport from/to Mountain Lodge is available, or you could just walk and have a little extra workout – with a fabulous view for free!
Sauna
Clear the safari dust from your skin and pores with a deep cleanse sweating session. Rock Lodge offers a relaxing and invigorating sauna those who crave a different kind of heat.
Wrap yourself in a clean, fluffy towel afterwards and just relax on the nearby deck. (As these facilities are available to all guests, swimwear is mandatory.)
Gym
Most people go on holiday to relax and do as little as possible. But for those who do want to stay active, Rock Lodge offers a fully equipped and free accessible gym so you can stay in motion and workout whenever you want.

ON SAFARI IN WELGEVONDEN
Welgevonden translates as ‘well-found’ and suits this exclusive and completely malaria-free reserve in the heart of Limpopo Province perfectly.
With 37,000 hectare of mountainous terrains, deep valleys and cliffs, grassy plains and flowing rivers, Welgevonden Game Reserve offers a diverse habitat for a wide range of wildlife. As part of the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, it’s home to more than 50 species of mammal and close to 300 bird species.
Game Drives
A safari means nothing without its animals, also known as ‘game’. We offer daily morning and evening game drives in open jeeps, led by qualified guiding rangers who will provide fascinating insights into the complex ecosystems of the South African bush.
Our expert guides will bring you thrillingly close to the Big Five for an unrivalled wildlife encounter. The restriction of private vehicles in the reserve makes for a particularly intimate bush experience.
Animals in Welgevonden
If you are in search of the Big Five, you’ve come to the right place! Welgevonden Game Reserve features more than 50 different mammals such as giraffe, kudu, zebra, as well as unusual species like the brown hyena, aardwolf and aardvark.
It’s also home to the largest population of white rhino in any of Africa’s private reserves. We complete this wild animal party with an ornithological confetti of over 300 exotic bird species. You want beasts? We’ve got beasts!
