A five-star luxury London hotel with 50 rooms and 22 suites and studios, The Beaumont is grand in style yet intimate and welcoming. Inspired by the great hotels of the 1920s, it occupies a fine Art Deco building on a quiet garden square, close to the boutiques, galleries and museums of Mayfair, St James’s and the West End.

The Beaumont’s glamorous Colony Grill Room is a firm favourite on the London dining scene, while Le Magritte Bar, the hotel’s ‘American bar’ serves classic cocktails and stylish snacks.

Guests also enjoy access to the Gatsby Room for afternoon tea, light dining and drinks, as well as to the refined Spa, gymnasium and salon, while the Lotos Room offers a wide range of facilities for private events.

In 2021, the hotel underwent a gentle refurbishment of its bars and restaurants, which saw the addition of a brand-new lounge and an al fresco dining terrace, under the creative direction of the leading New York-based designer Thierry Despont, adding new layers of comfort and luxury.

The Beaumont is superbly located on a quiet, landscaped square, yet within sight of Selfridges and a few minutes’ stroll from the luxury shops on Duke Street, Mount Street, South Audley Street and Bond Street, the green spaces of Grosvenor Square, Berkeley Square and Hyde Park, and Mayfair’s many art galleries.

THE ROOSEVELT SUITE
The Beaumont’s presidential suite, which can be extended to include five bedrooms encompassing the entire fifth floor, reflects the glamorous era of the great transatlantic liners of the 1920s and 1930s.

It has a delightfully expansive living room and a separate dining room seating eight, a generous terrace large enough for relaxing and entertaining, with rooftop views across Mayfair towards the City of London, plus a pantry kitchen and a guest bathroom.

The suite features cream lacquer panelling, brass inlaid details and parquet timber floors, while pale silk curtains, hand-made rugs, selected antiques and period works of art create a discreetly opulent setting.

THE TERRACE SUITE
This large one-bedroom suite is 91 square metres (980 square feet) in size, making it perfect for entertaining. The comfortable sitting room provides ample space for relaxing, dining and working, while a generous and very private terrace overlooks Brown Hart Gardens and has wide views towards the City of London.

MAYFAIR SUITE
Measuring an expansive 81 to 86 square metres (870 to 926 square feet), these are the largest one-bedroom suites in The Beaumont.

Each has its own unique layout, but all overlook Brown Hart Gardens. Silks, mohair velvets, bronze detailing and subtle geometric patterns create a calm, relaxing environment for business or pleasure. One of the Mayfair Suites can be connected to a Superior Room to include two bedrooms.

SUPERIOR STUDIO
The Superior Studios range in size between 44 and 53 square metres (475 to 570 square feet). All have their own unique features: some have separate dressing areas, others have an outdoor terrace, and all offer different views over Brown Hart Gardens or the Mayfair rooftops. With their generous hallways, they feel like private, period apartments in the heart of London.

CLASSIC ROOM
These comfortable, king-bedded hotel rooms are 30 square metres (323 square feet) in size, and feature opening floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the rooftops of Mayfair or the garden court. Equally suited to a leisure or business stay, all Classic rooms have private entrance halls, sleek mosaic-and-marble bathrooms and plentiful wardrobe space.

THE COLONY GRILL
“London’s best steak restaurant is at The Beaumont hotel…. there’s really no place better to get your carnivorous fix than The Colony Grill.” A relaxed, sophisticated, New York style Grill with a timeless menu of transatlantic favourites, salads, crustacea, grills and steaks, and a big helping of old-world glamour.

LE MAGRITTE BAR & TERRACE
Le Magritte Bar & Terrace belongs to the great tradition of American bars that became legendary in London and Paris during the 1920s.

All-American bad boys (and girls) from Hemingway and Fitzgerald to Martin, Sinatra and MacLaine would have felt right at home in its handsome walnut-panelled interior, hung with an eclectic collection of early 20th century paintings and photographs, including the Magritte that gives the room its name.

The Bar specialises in bourbons, American whiskies and classic cocktails, which are strictly shaken or stirred. Adjoining le Magritte is the chic, sheltered terrace overlooking tranquil Brown Hart Gardens.

With 1920s-style rattan armchairs and café tables enfolded by lush greenery, the Terrace serves drinks alongside a menu of light dishes from early until late. An exceptional selection of Cuban Cigars, including classic line, regional and limited editions, is available.

GATSBY’S ROOM
Gatsby’s Room is the beating heart of the hotel: a welcoming, relaxing place to gather from early morning until late at night, punctuated by the ritual highlight of Afternoon Tea.

As befits The Beaumont’s transatlantic heritage, Afternoon Tea is served according to the best of English traditions, sprinkled with a light American accent. An excellent coffee, a sophisticated cocktail, a glass of vintage Champagne, or a light meal can be enjoyed here at any time during the day and evening.

MEETINGS & EVENTS
The Beaumont offers a fine room for private dining, business meetings and family events, whether a wedding or a birthday party: the versatile Lotos Room, approached down a sweeping flight of stairs.

The Lotos Room can accommodate meetings, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as theatre-style seating and cocktail receptions. A dedicated organiser will be available to coordinate every aspect of your event, with menus created by the chefs of The Colony Grill, The Beaumont’s much-lauded restaurant.

There is no charge for room hire, though there is a minimum spend limit. For private dining, The Beaumont offers complimentary menu printing, place cards, flowers, tea lights, music, audio-visual equipment, and of course free fast wifi.

Optional extras can be arranged, include special flower arrangements, seating, candles, chandeliers, wedding cakes and a personal bartender.

SPA & WELLNESS
The Beaumont Spa provides an oasis of tranquillity and revitalisation in calm white-marble Art Deco surroundings.

Choose from our comprehensive range of massage, facial and hamam treatments for men and women, as well as manicures and pedicures, or visit the salon for all of your hairdressing and grooming needs. The Beaumont Spa also features a fully equipped gym, sauna and steam room.

Our massages are tailored to individual needs, whether to relax mind, body and spirit, or to ease muscular tension. Our therapists are trained in various massage techniques and may use a combination in your treatment, as appropriate. The Beaumont’s Spa in Mayfair also offers specialist massages.

A traditional treatment on our heated marble hamam table, incorporating a cleanse and exfoliation with savon noir, followed by a Dead Sea mud wrap.

Clad in shimmering black and white marble mosaics, the intimate Spa has a steam room and a sauna, a cold plunge pool, a traditional warmed marble massage slab, two treatment rooms, an ice bar and a relaxation area.

We offer Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ hairdressing services, including shampoos, cuts and finishes. Gentlemen’s grooming services include traditional wet shaves.

The Gymnasium is open 24 hours a day for hotel guests. Equipment includes a Peloton bike, two running machines, an upright bike, a recline bike, a cross trainer, a Technogym Kinesis, a water rower and free weights.
