Historic canal house
The location and build of The Hendrick’s Hotel could not be more historic or convenient, built into a 17th century (Amsterdam’s ‘Golden Age’) monumental canal house, facing the IJ waterway, the old northern border of the city where ships would sail into to disembark.
The hotel was originally a ‘pakhuis’ storing a wide range of interesting trade goods and stories of voyagers. Just a 10 minute walk from Amsterdam’s Central Station and less than 15 minute stroll to Dam Square, The Hendrick’s is very easily accessible to all major attractions, museums and shopping that Amsterdam has to offer.

Vault Suite
This giant Vault Suite, used to once be a bank vault in the 17th century, now recreated into a 45 square meter suite with a double bed, twin beds and sitting area, very spacious for 4 persons. Great for couples, friends or families.
The semi-basement level has windows facing the ground/street level, with safety double glass windows and privacy curtains. The Vault Suite is one of a kind in Amsterdam.
Deluxe Twin Room
This spacious room stretches 30 square meters, with twin beds and a seating area with a sofa. The theme of this room is Travel, olive green notes and touches of world travel accent this room.
Superior Double Room
Spacious superior room of 30 square meters, featuring a Kingsize bed, sky high ceilings and large windows to accent the height of the room and give plenty of natural light. The theme of this room is the Bank, with beautifull dark turqoise, coppers accents and matching artwork.
Deluxe Double Room with View
This unique room category is positioned on the very top floor of The Hendrick’s Hotel with a Kingsize bed, high vaulted ceilings and views over the city.
The low positioned ceiling beams at 1.9 meters may not be perfect for our vertically superior guests. Featuring the Royal theme; silvery greys, royal blues and gold touches with Royal artwork to match.
Junior Suite
The Romantic themed Junior Suite has a warm and spacious atmopshere with a Kingsize bed, high ceilings, a separate living room with sofa and a quiet position in the hotel. The theme is Romance with soft pinks, pale greens and accents of soft purple. The suite is situated on the first floor with sky high ceilings.

Taxi pick up & fixed rate from hotel to airport
We can arrange a taxi limousine pickup service from Schiphol Airport to The Hendrick’s Hotel for €60 (1-4 person) or €70 (4-7 person). The driver will wait at the gate for you with a tablet displaying your name.
If you want the pickup service, please let us know and we shall arrange this for you. A fare to Schiphol Airport can be booked with us for a fixed rate of €45.
