The dash and excitement of a London townhouse. The welcome and familiarity of a country home. The Pelham brings designer style and home comfort together minutes from Harrods, Sotheby’s and the Royal Albert Hall.

There’s a radiant quality to The Pelham. Bright colourful interiors ensure the spirits never dip, while our impeccable service adds a personal dimension to luxury living.

Country home intimacy meets London town house living in The Pelham. Perfectly positioned in the heart of South Kensington for exploring the galleries, museums and other cultural attractions of the Capital, we are also a home from home for those looking for a city retreat.

If our hospitality and service is resolutely old-fashioned, our styling is anything but. Bright, sunny interiors blend the contemporary with the classic, creating a smile in the mind with bright pops of colour on furniture and furnishings.

Old Indian and Tibetan fabrics have been framed and hung to create arresting wall-hangings. Meanwhile, signature furniture and artwork, including a striking racing measurement chair in reception, add intrigue.

A discerning design eye has shaped all The Pelham’s public spaces, not least La Trattoria by Alfredo Russo. Here, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner – but never in the same way. The experience changes throughout the day. Light and fresh early in the morning, the mood becomes more intimate as evening nears and dinner is by candlelight.

ROOMS & SUITES
The Pelham’s 52 bedrooms and suites all have an individual style and design, expressed by a unique mix of antique and modern furniture, paintings and precious fabrics.

The wooden and metal window frames enhance the design of the furnishings, a creative combination of classic and contemporary, while natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows adds extra radiance to the interiors.

The eclectic design theme is carried through to the furnishings where exuberantly patterned headboards, drapes and upholstery are offset by plain, elegant wallpaper, and vice versa.

MEWS SUITE
The split-level, loft-style Mews Suite includes a lounge and dining area on the lower level, as well as an open-plan bedroom with king size bed.

An additional queen-size bed is located on the mezzanine level. The mews is a private suite independent from the hotel, with a separate entrance on Cromwell Mews. It is suitable for longer stays and for families with children over the age of 10.

KING SUITE
A wonderfully modern twist on classic regal grandeur, The Pelham’s luxurious 50 square metre King Suite cannot fail to impress. The huge, opulently furnished drawing room with floor-to-ceiling windows offers some of The Pelham’s best views of South Kensington.

The king-sized bedroom can be closed off for privacy, creating a separate lounge seating area. The bathroom with twin washbasins is fashioned from granite and oak. On request, the suite can be connected with the Executive Double room next door, creating a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, an elegant space measuring over 840 square feet.

JUNIOR SUITE
The 8 Junior Suites measure 28-30 square metres, and offer all the facilities and details one expects from a luxury hotel. Every suite is individually decorated and furnished, creating a distinctive personality.

One suite, for example, has a four-poster bed, an antique chandelier, a fireplace and a black marble bathroom. Two Junior Suites can interconnect on request to create a grand suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
