GARDONE RIVIERA
Gardone Riviera has the privilege of hosting the Vittoriale degli Italiani, a complex of buildings, streets, squares, an open-air theatre, gardens and waterways. It was erected in 1921, by Gabriele d’Annunzio, in memory of the ‘inimitable life’ of the poet-soldier and the exploits of the Italians during the First World War.
In front of it, there is the monumental Loggia dei Caduti, which is the gateway to the historical centre of Gardone Sopra, full of picturesque alleyways, ancient steps and colourful houses enhanced by splendid flowers.
Nature is also the undisputed protagonist of Gardone Riviera. In addition to numerous hiking trails, the main open-air attractions include the Botanical Garden – André Heller Foundation.
It hosts around 3000 species of plants from all over the world. This incredible biodiversity is combined with contemporary sculptures and extraordinary landscaping to create a total work of art.
The relaxation continues on the lakeside promenade of Gardone Riviera, which allows a leisurely stroll along the lake shore, admiring the Isola del Garda floating and mirrored in the waters of the lake.
It is the meeting point for tourists and residents who can sit in the numerous bars, have an ice cream, an aperitif in one of the various pubs or dine in an elegant restaurant.

Hotel Villa Capri is situated in a very lucky position for Golf enthusiasts. In the area there are 14 different golf courses (no more than an hour and half by car), and many of them are internationally recognised.
