ROOMS & SUITES
All 73 rooms and suites are designed in a modern alpine style. After a sporty day out in the mountains, they offer you enough space and peace for dreamlike regeneration.

All rooms are equipped with all the amenities a 5-star luxury hotel offers. We deliberately use natural materials, such as local woods like spruce and oak. Slate, stone and various wool fabrics exude comfort and pleasant warmth.

Our rooms and suites are located in the hotel’s main building and the apartment house (which can be reached on foot from the main building). Depending on the room, we can accommodate anywhere from 25 to 60m² for one to four people.

SUITE
Relaxed luxury and priceless views – spoil yourself with an extra class break in our suites. The suite has a separate living room with a sofa bed and a bedroom with a 1.80m king-size bed. The suite is individually furnished and includes a bathroom with bathtub.

JUNIOR SUITE
Cosiness and modern design are not contradictory with us. Comfortable details in wood in clear, simple design relax without any compulsion.

The Junior Suite has a bedroom with a 1.80m king-size bed and an integrated sitting area with sofa bed. The Junior Suite is individually furnished and includes a bathroom with a bathtub or a ground-floor shower.

SUPERIOR DOUBLE ROOMS
Warm colours and natural materials create a cosy ambiance that lets you forget everyday life. The Superior rooms have a 1.80m king-size bed or two 90 cm twin beds. Each room has its own balcony, is individually furnished and includes majoritarian an open bathroom with bathtub and a separate shower and toilet.

DINING
From fondue or Casarecce alle verdure to beef fillet and striped perch: in the Walliserhof Grand-Hotel & Spa we offer you three very different cuisines in three restaurants. The varied culinary experiences will make your holiday in Saas-Fee unforgettable.

You are welcome to book our Walliserhof Grand-Hotel & Spa Delight-Board in addition to your package. The Delight-Board consists of a 4-course menu at the Cäsar Ritz, whereby you can freely combine the 4 courses from the à-la-carte menu.

On days when the Cäsar Ritz is closed, we serve a tasting menu in the Del Ponte restaurant (not part of the à-la-carte menu), the tasting menu can be combined with the à-la-carte menu at any time.

Drinks are generally not included in the Delight-Board and will be charged separately. The rich breakfast buffet in the morning and a delicious cake buffet in the afternoon complete our gastronomic offer.

RESTAURANT CÄSAR RITZ

In our Gourmet Restaurant Cäsar Ritz we offer our guests a seasonally changing selection „à-la-carte“, which can also be freely combined into a menu. The Cäsar Ritz is the restaurant where you can enjoy our Delight-Pension.

DEL PONTE
Experience a culinary voyage of discovery through the diversity of Italian cuisine at the highest level. Of course there is pasta, pizza and prosciutto at Del Ponte, homemade and with the best ingredients.

SAAS-FEE
18 four-thousand-metre peaks surround the Saas Valley! An overwhelming world of mountains and glaciers simply amazes the spectator. Perfectly groomed ski runs from 3,600 metres above sea level to the village. Just awarded the title of the most snow-sure ski area in the Alps.

A large number of mountain railways carry winter sports enthusiasts comfortably up the mountain. Saas-Fee also offers a wide range of alternative winter sports activities: Sledging, ice climbing, snowshoe trails, winter hiking, curling, cross-country skiing and much more.

In summer, hikers and mountain walkers get their money’s worth, from easy hikes to high alpine mountain tours, there is something for everyone. Walk or take one of the many mountain railways and experience a high alpine mountain summer with pleasant temperatures.

It doesn’t always have to be hiking, Saas-Fee has much more to offer: Summer tobogganing, adventure forest climbing park with Tyrolienne over the Feeschlucht, Gorge Alpine and much more.

Sport and health shape our life and our lifestyle. Together we have a huge wealth of experience in a wide variety of sports: artistic gymnastics, alpine skiing, handball, basketball, volleyball, football, Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit.

We are all certified CrossFit Level 1 or even Level 2 trainers*. The owners and head coaches have been working in the group and personal training sector for more than 5 years.

With all this experience and our know-how we offer Saas-Fee a long awaited training centre for everyone. In addition to the group classes, you can also train individually and alone in the 24h/7 Open Gym. In personal trainings we respond to personal wishes and goals.

300 SUNNY DAYS
The Mediterranean climate, 300 days of sunshine, the air free of fine dust – the Saas Valley is unique. The four authentic mountain villages of Saas-Fee, Saas-Grund, Saas-Almagell and Saas-Balen exude a special charm.

WINTER
150 km of perfectly prepared ski runs, a panorama of 18 four-thousand-metre peaks. And with lifts up to 3600 m above sea level, we are so sure of snow that skiing or snowboarding is even possible in Saas-Fee in summer.

Ski & Snowboard
Between 3,600 and 1,500 m asl, the snow-assured areas in the holiday region Saas-Fee/Saastal are situated. 150 kilometres of blue, red, black and yellow pistes promise a unique skiing experience, always surrounded by 18 four-thousand-metre peaks!

Snowshoe hiking
White landscapes as far as the eye can see and absolute silence await you on snowshoe hikes in the holiday region Saas-Fee/Saastal. There is something for everyone among the various trails. And always surrounded by the highest mountains in Switzerland.

Sledging
Fantastic sledge runs await you here by us! In Saas-Grund, you can run from Kreuzboden over a fabulous 11 kilometres into the village and enjoy a spectacular view of the Mischabel chain and the Mattmark region.

In Saas-Fee, the 6-kilometre-long run starts from the top station of the Hannigbahn and leads over the so-called «Sonnenberg» to the glacier village. The Saas-Almagell run leads from Furggstalden over 3 kilometres to the village. In all three destinations, you can hire sledges to the cable cars.

Ski tours
For those who appreciate high alpine activities, the holiday region of Saas-Fee/Saastal is paradise. Our mountain guide offices of the Saas Valley will be happy to help you plan and organise your tours.

Fluchthorn 3794 m a.s.l.
Even though the Fluchthorn is just below the 4000m altitude zone, it can score with a view of the fascinating Monte Rosa east face. The summit is surrounded by imposing glaciers as well as the Allalinhorn, Rimpfischhorn and Strahlhorn.

On this popular day ski tour, you march 3 hours 870m uphill from the Britannia Hut. After you have enjoyed the view on the Fluchthorn, the almost endless descents into Mattmark and down to Saas-Almagell begin.

Strahlhorn 4190 m a.s.l.
The Strahlhorn is one of the easiest four-thousand-metre peaks. However, there are a few crevasses along the way, which is why the Strahlhorn should only be climbed with an experienced mountain guide. The day tour starts early in the morning at the Britannia Hut.

You cross the Hohlaub and Allalin glaciers and then reach the Adler Pass (3789 m above sea level). From here you climb another 400 metres in altitude until you reach the summit of the Strahlhorn.

The ascent of 1260 metres in altitude takes about 5 hours. At the summit you enjoy the breathtaking view of the Monte Rosa east face. The way back is via the same route back to the Britannia Hut.

Haute-Route: over the Adler Pass 3789 m a.s.l. to Zermatt
There is hardly a more spectacular way to reach Zermatt! This high-altitude tour is part of the legendary Valais Haute Route from Saas-Fee to Chamonix. The ascent of 600 metres in altitude takes about 3.5 hours. Afterwards you enjoy a long descent to Zermatt.

Alphubel
You are physically fit, have already absolved a couple of ski tours and now need a new challenge? Then you should attack the Alphubel. The ascent is made roped up through huge crevasse zones to steep couloirs.

After numerous hairpin bends with crampons, you reach the summit. The Alphubel is one of the most difficult tours in the Saas Valley. As a reward, a 2400-metre descent down to Saas Fee awaits you.

Allalin
If you already have plenty of experience in ski touring, this winter ascent is just right for you. The ascent leads over a large crevasse zone on the Fee glacier up to the Feejoch.

Depending on the snow conditions, you will go up to the summit on skis or with crampons. Once on the summit, you will be rewarded for your efforts with a wonderful view of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and Piz Bernina.

“Hängend-Gletscher”
This tour is an insider tip and offers not only a good glacier tour but also a great downhill run to Saas-Almagell. The tour starts at the Metro-Alpin window and crosses the Hohlaub glacier.

After two hours of walking, you reach the foot of the Fluchthorn. Here the descent begins over the “Hängend Glacier” to Schwarzbergalp and further over the Mattmark dam to Saas-Almagell.

Skiing in summer
You can even ski on the glaciers of Saas-Fee in summer. Most of the world’s ski teams, therefore, train with us. 20km of perfectly prepared pistes are ready and waiting for you!

Hiking
Whether you’re interested in a gentle hike or a high altitude Alpine tour, Saas-Fee/Saas Valley is a diverse outdoor paradise where, across 350km of trails, your view of our 18 impressive 4,000-metre peaks is constantly changing.

With our professional mountain guides on hand, you’ll also have the chance to climb those peaks. The most leisurely climb is the Allalin (4027m above sea level), starting from the mountain station of the highest subway in the world, the Metro Alpin.

Biker’s paradise
The Saas Valley is considered an insider tip in the mountain bike scene. Everyone will find a favourite route on 80 kilometres of perfectly marked trails, whether easy or challenging.

Every track offers a new perspective of the 4000-metre peaks of the Saas Valley. By the way, most trails pass or end at glacier lakes – so cooling off is guaranteed.

Summer sports activities
Whether it’s beach volleyball or summer skiing, boccia (Italian bowls) or golf, mini-golf or tennis, football or swimming, yoga or fitness: When you visit us, it’s a good idea to take along your swimming clothes, hiking boots and ski helmet, because you can do almost anything you fancy.

Yoga & Retreats
Marja-Liisa Maier completed her yoga teacher training at an acclaimed yoga school in India called “Ashiyana Yoga School”. She regularly gives yoga retreats at the Walliserhof Grand Hotel & Spa, where she works permanently as a yoga teacher.

She also offers classes at the Yoga House and teaches the kids at SkiZenit. Before her time in Saas-Fee, she led her knowledge, especially about the power of Kundalini, all over the world.

FAMILIES
Whether all-day childcare, children’s ski school or experiences for the whole family, everyone feels completely at home in Saas-Fee – and that at any time of year. It is particularly important to us that not only the wishes of the little ones are fulfilled, but also those of the grown-ups.

The marmots are awake
Our marmots are probably the sweetest villagers in Saas-Fee. Explore the area of Spielboden or the Stafelwald, and you will likely come across marmots. They like to be fed with peanuts and carrots all summer long.

In winter, the cute little fellows sleep peacefully in their caves. The hibernation lasts between 6 and 8 months. The marmots are seen again from mid-April and are looking forward to your visit!
