ALPINE COTTAGE CHALET WITH POOL 
Private and heated Infinity stainless steel pool (10m x 4m), Alpine cottage “Troadkasten” with a Swiss stone pine bedroom accessible through connecting door. “Deluxe” refers to the spacious Alpine cottage chalet with an adjacent Alpine cottage “Troadkasten”.

It combines coziness with spaciousness, ideal to accommodate additional friends or a big family. The Alpine cottage chalet deluxe also offers a heated infinity pool with a length of 10 meters and a width of 4 meters. The pool can be used the whole year-round.

FARMHOUSE
The original Carinthian farmhouse is perfect for a longer stay and up to six persons. It combines the traditional architecture with the spaciousness of the cottage. The cozy living rooms, the crackling wood-burning stoves, the bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes, and the private spa with a sauna make this farmhouse your high-class sanctuary.

TREEHOUSE
The cottage is designed for intimacy. The gentle aroma of Swiss stone pine lures into the soft down of the beautiful bedroom with its walk-in wardrobe and the small table on the wooden balcony makes room for two glasses and a joint alpine snack.

You reach the treehouse through the drawbridge. There you can enjoy a fantastic view through the panorama window of the upper Gurktal. The treehouse offers a comfy bed and optimal room temperature for the perfect nights’ sleep.

ALPINE COTTAGE ALPETTA
The Alpetta cottage is designed for intimacy. A gentle aroma of Swiss stone pine lures into the soft down of the beautiful bedroom with its walk-in wardrobe and the small table on the wooden balcony which makes room for two glasses and a joint alpine snack.

Enter the cozy combined kitchen and living room. Two bedrooms with private bathrooms and a large sun terrace make this chalet your place of well-being.

The incredible quality of the food you can enjoy here comes fresh from the regional nature. Wherever possible, we use organic and local products. And you can taste that. The meat, for example, is mostly sourced from the Nockberge region, where every cow has its grazing place.

TAVERN “AT THAT TIME”
Small rustic parlors, a tiled stove here, a granny stove there, and the aroma of roast pork cooking. And when the wooden floor creaks and the candlelight makes your eyes shine – then you are in the inn Seinerzeit.

GUEST HOUSE FELLACHER
The guest house Fellacher is available for closed events such as weddings, birthdays, incentives, etc. Bookable from 30 persons. At any time of the year, it is beautiful in the guest house Fellacher, the rustic restaurant with 50 seats. The terrace is probably one of the most beautiful spots of the Almdorf Seinerzeit.

During delicacy evenings you will be spoiled by the chef with selected seasonal specialties. There is the smell of asparagus, goulash, fresh herbs, or the crusted roast from the granny oven. These popular evenings are rare and therefore a culinary highlight.

THE LUMBERJACK COTTAGE
The culinary highlight, in the truest sense of the word – the lumberjack cottage in the Almdorf Seinerzeit. It exceeds all expectations – in terms of coziness, spectacular views, and warmth.

While the chef prepares a traditional Carinthian menu of several courses over an open fire, your gaze wanders through the panorama window into the valley. Fine wines round off the experience.

THE SMALLEST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD 
The forest workers – in Carinthia mainly the lumberjacks – were in the forest for the whole week until not so long ago. Until the middle of the last century, the long distances to remote workplaces had to be covered on foot.

They only made this trip once a week. Therefore, they needed a place to cook and sleep on site. These were the simple lumberjack huts. Built from tree barks, they offered protection from wind and weather. The food, which could only be prepared over an open fire, was simple, hearty, and good.

Be delighted by a deliciously romantic dinner highlight. The hut with panoramic windows offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain landscape.

It only offers space for you and the private chef. He will create an exclusive multi-course menu for you. The lumberjack hut is unique. If you have not yet dined there, it is recommened to make a reservation at the reception as soon as possible.

THE WINE CELLAR
A highlight of the evening is the fine menu in the wine cellar. Fire crackles in the fireplace, exquisite vintages decorate long shelves, and the smell of delicious food fills the room.

Here, too, the food is conjured up from the best ingredients of the region: local fillet of beef, carved and filleted before your very eyes, Drau crayfish, Carinthian laxatives, and much more.

HUT-BARBECUE
When you arrive back hungry from a day in the alpine pastures. Who is waiting for you? It is the landlord/butler on the hut’s terrace with a panoramic view. He has brought everything with him, all the necessary barbecue utensils, he heats the grill and sets the table.

Then it is your turn to become the grill master: tender beef or freshly caught char, delicious side dishes, salads, and in addition Carinthian wine or a cool Märzen beer. Great fun even in winter!

CHALETS WITH PRIVATE HOT TUB 
Our chalet host will preheat your private hot tub on request. These warming, outdoor hot tubs are heated electrically or with wood and are available in summer and winter in selected chalets.

ALM SPA
At 1,400 m above sea level, in the middle of the Carinthian Alps, the Almdorf Seinerzeit embodies an experience of a, particularly healing kind. At this altitude, oxygen transport is improved by new blood formation.

The fresh blood cells release oxygen to the tissue in an optimal way and the body experiences a noticeable strengthening as cell renewal is faster – the Alm is a fountain of youth.

HERBAL HAY BATH FOR TWO
The hay of the Carinthian alpine region is a natural herbal mixture. Due to the heat and humidity, the ingredients can develop their healing power. They have a purifying, calming and soothing effect on your skin.

The mountain farmer Franz Gruber manually harvests the hay and brings it directly to our alpine spa. By open fire and candlelight you can enjoy your herbal bath in the bath tub. Plus the herbal decoction. Afterwards rest and relax in the hay bed.

This is our “local mountain tour” – a wonderful hike over the alpine pastures of the Falkert. The hike starts at the crystal-clear lake Falkert – then continues via the “Sunday valley” directly to the summit. And when you finally reach the top, you will be rewarded with a snack and a unique view of the Gurktaler Alps and the Biosphere Reserve.

GOLF
Carinthia’s highest golf course can be found in Bad Kleinkirchheim – only a few kilometers from the Almdorf Seinerzeit. While hot and humid elsewhere in the region, cool and pleasant temperatures are still enjoyed here.

The panorama of the Biosphere Reserve with its green meadows and forests with fragrant pines and the peaks of the Nockberge accompany you at every tee on the 18-hole course. The Golf School is headed up by PGA head pro Jim Bray.

WATER SPORTS
Enjoy mirror smooth lakes early in the morning. Whether swimming, canoeing or exploring Carinthia’s lakes by rowing boat. Carinthia’s mountain world is worth seeing as are the numerous rivers and lakes that spring from it.

The picturesque lake Millstatt is the closest and the world-famous lake Wörther is also not far from the Almdorf Seinerzeit. In Bad Kleinkirchheim you will also find several thermal baths and spas to relax and unwind.

CARINTHIAN TRADITION
Together with a biosphere park ranger builds wooden fences without nails from larch trunks and spruce branches. Your works of art will be set up in the Almdorf and will remind you of your immersion in the Carinthian nature and your learned handicraft at every visit.

SURVIVAL TRAINING
While on a short hike with the Biosphere Park Ranger, you will find landmarks in the wild, and above all, you will find some food in nature.

HIKING TOUR
Hikes together with a ranger to the Grubenbaueralm. From the Nockalm road, a hike leads you through the Swiss stone pine forests of the Nockberg region. Once you arrive at the hut, hostess Anita will be waiting for you with a rich Carinthian snack. On the way back you will be picked up by bus.

ALPINE SUMMER
Due to its location, in the middle of the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve and the proximity to the towns of Bad Kleinkirchheim and the Turrach, the Almdorf Seinerzeit is a paradise for active holidaymakers. Depending on the season, we climb peaks, knock off balls and hike kilometers of slopes. Can all this be accommodated in a single holiday you may ask?

For the sporty guests, our innkeeper has tips ready for you: Even in the hottest summer, pleasant temperatures still prevail on the alpine pastures. Early mornings and early evenings are the perfect times to keep fit.

There is nothing better than experiencing the sunrise with a wonderful picnic at the summit and then jumping into one of the countless Carinthian lakes for refreshment and then falling into the pine beds in the evening satisfied and tired.

A beautiful tour is the Kärnten-Wasserreich Tour. A tour over asphalt, gravel roads, along with many springs, streams, and numerous refreshment areas.
