SAUNA & RELXATION
The Sauna area of our organic & wellness hotel in the Allgäu offers a variety of ways to strengthen the immune system and increase well-being. Many beautiful and quiet areas invite you to relax, swing & float, drink tea, warm your feet, unwind, sunbathe.

All wellness facilities have been designed for healthy people. If necessary, please clarify in advance with your doctor or therapist which treatments would be reasonable for your health. Use at your own risk.

Children up to the age of 16 years have to be supervised by their parents. We allow the use of the upper sauna area with its herbal lounge, mountain view relaxation room and the passageway to the natural swimming pool in the garden.

• A spacious steam room – Lined with natural stone and radiant rock crystal. The high humidity is beneficial for the respiratory tract and only a slight strain on your cardiovascular system.
• Infrared heat cabin – With dry infrared radiant heat. This has the effect of boosting blood circulation, strengthening the immune system and cleansing the skin and tissues. It can be used at any time without waiting for it to heat up.
• Bio sauna / Sanarium – With a moderate temperature (approx. 60°C; humidity 40 to 60%). The bio-sauna has a similar effect to the Finnish sauna, but milder your cardiovascular system. Ideal for more sensitive natures or for sauna novices.
• Stone pine sauna – ‘Sweat lodge’ with dry heat (approx. 90°C). The essential oil contained in the stone pine wood makes you relax – natural salt ionises the air.
• Mountain view relaxation room – With a south-facing view of the mountains and comfortable (hanging) loungers for reading, ‘hanging out’ and swinging.

AROUND FÜSSEN

Only 6 km from Hopfen am See, on the Romantic Road and the old Roman road Via Claudia Augusta, is a small but enchanting, medieval town – a centre of violin-making and lute-making – Füssen am Lech.

The baroque monastery complex, city walls and fortified towers as well as the High Castle with its arboretum and and the Italian flair of the old town with its winding streets are definitely worth a visit Various museums also invite you to visit.

WATER SPORTS
The colours of the Allgäu: lush green meadows, soft brown cows and … refreshing blue. Numerous lakes and ponds lie embedded in the gentle foothills of the Alps and are popular destinations.

On hot days, 10 lakes within 10 km entice you to take to a refreshing dip in their cool waters. Sports enthusiasts, on the other hand, are drawn straight to the nearby Hopfensee Lake.

HIKING
Around our organic hotel, fresh air and the varied backdrop of the foothills of the Alps invite you to take healthy exercise. Lush green hills merge into high moorland areas and the forests on mountains are home to a variety of flora and fauna. Magnificent views open up in some places. The interplay of romantic countryside and such special places clears the mind and expands the heart.

In the cycling and hiking season from May to the end of October guided hikes are offered that go directly from the hotel and from Füssen Tourismus. Please remember to pack sturdy mountain or hiking boots and appropriate clothing for your hiking holiday.

CYCLING
Get on your bike. Great cycling routes are waiting for you. Around Füssen there are well signposted tours around lakes, through forests and meadows to inspire you. Füssen Tourism offers guided tours for mountain bikes and e-bikes.

The Allgäu Active Partner Agency provides further guided cycling and mountain bike tours locally as well as technique training as required. Germany’s most extraordinary long-distance cycling route, the Allgäu Cycling Route takes you on a 450 km long tour of the most beautiful corners of the Allgäu.

From easy to challenging, but always through the breathtaking landscape. It is considered to be a cycling route without a starting point and an end point. During the cycling season we rent out e-bikes and pedelecs.

GOLF
In the golfing paradise of the Allgäu region, you can golf between fragrant meadows, in flat, park-like valleys in the East Allgäu or challenging courses right next to the mountains in the Upper Allgäu. You van get to all these places within an hour’s drive.

WINTER ACTIVITIES

Simply strap on your snowshoes or skis. Or hop on a toboggan. And away you go down the slope in wide sweeping turns and with rapid high-speed downhill runs. At the garden spa the upper wellness area is open to children from 6 years of age – at the agreed times stated in the programme – accompanied by their (grand)parents. Here you will find a bio sauna, steam room, tea lounge and mountain view relaxation room.
