Located right on the west coast of Barbados, Cobblers Cove is a haven of grace and tranquility for discerning travellers. Our independent resort has 40 suites, spacious and charming, with verandas overlooking the ocean and tropical gardens. The Camelot Restaurant is a destination in itself.

Suites
All suites at Cobblers Cove have been recently refurbished to provide covered outdoor verandas with deeply comfortable rattan chaises, a mini bar stocked daily with tea, coffee and milk, a drawing room, shower room and air conditioned bedrooms.

Garden Suites
These lovely spacious suites have deep private terraces overlooking fabulous gardens, Egyptian cotton linens, goose down pillows, seersucker bathrobes and luxury island-made botanical amenities. You can opt for either a king size or twin bed.

The bathrooms have marble finishings, “his and her” wash basins and a walk-in shower. Many of the suites are air-conditioned throughout, some have air-conditioning in the bedrooms with a ceiling fan in the sitting room.

Ocean View Suites
These glorious and recently renovated suites have sitting rooms and covered verandas with fabulous views through the gardens towards the sea.

Ocean Front Suites
The palm fringed beach and the turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea are only steps away from these glorious suites.

Rattan furniture, fresh pastel linens and coral stone floors offer the best and most glamorous in Caribbean style. Airy living rooms open onto shady verandas with deep cushioned chaise longues in which to while away the days.

Two Bedroom Suites
Our two very popular and spacious Two Bedroom Suites offer over 1,300 sq ft of accommodation – perfect for families or friends travelling together. The air-conditioned bedrooms have either king or twin size beds as preferred and each has an en-suite bathroom.

These suites are available on both ground and first floors. Our two room suites each have one veranda that looks out through the gardens to the sea and are both are only moments away from the beach, pool and bar.

Camelot at the Great House
Located on two floors of the original Great House, this unique suite offers the ultimate in elegance, privacy and glamour, with views from your bed directly over the sea, a first floor terrace and a private rooftop.

Redecorated top to toe by Soane Britain in 2019 with exquisite linens and delightful rattan furniture, this lovely suite has never looked so good.

Occupying over 1,380 sq ft, the Camelot Suite combines the grace of a plantation era home with the comfort of an English country house. Camelot has a glamorous four poster bed and the bathroom has both a both shower and bath.

Colleton at the Great House
In an enviable position on the first floor of the Great House, this huge and gracious suite is the ultimate in hotel living.

With its large four poster bed, pretty bathroom with double shower and bath and elegant furnishings it is difficult to beat. Add the plunge pool and private terrace in and you’ll never want to stay anywhere else.

Dining
Renowned for island-inspired cuisine and local ingredients, Camelot Restaurant serves the finest food in Barbados.

The hotel fisherman, Barker, brings freshly caught fish to the chef, Jason Joseph, each morning. Popular with guests and locals alike, our charming ocean-front restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday.

Private Dining

The Bar
Choose from our extensive cocktail menu, dare to try a Cobblers Cooler or let the highly skilled barman create a killer cocktail just for you. Rum has a rich narrative on this island, spanning almost four centuries and more popular today than ever.

Cobblers offers a wide and varied selection of fine aged rums from around the Caribbean. We offer a Cocktail of the Day at a special rate and Happy Hour is on Thursday and Sunday 11:30-12:30pm and Friday 6-7pm.

WATER SKI
Skim over the turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea. Every guest enjoys one complimentary boat trip for each day of their stay, with a charge for additional sessions. Our Water Sports team will get beginners going – you’ll be up on your feet and showing off tricks before you know it.

WINDSURF, HOBIE CAT SAIL & SUNFISH SAIL
Try out our sail boats during your holiday. Less experienced sailors will enjoy tuition from the Water Sports team. Sailing & windsurfing are complimentary to all guests.

PADDLE BOARD
Paddle boards can be borrowed free of charge at any time from the Water Sports Hut. Private paddle board or paddle board yoga classes may also be arranged.

TENNIS
The Cobblers tennis court, balls and rackets are available free of charge to all guests. The court has a hard surface and flood lights for the cooler evenings. Book in advance by emailing reservations or at front desk once you are here.

GYM
Stay active and maintain your regular work out programme in our well-equipped gym. Just drop by the front desk to pick up the key at your leisure. Personal training, yoga or pilates can all be arranged for you.

KAYAK
Our kayaks can be borrowed at any time and for as long as you want, free of charge, from the Water Sports hut.

SNORKEL
The reef immediately in front of the hotel is wonderfully rich in marine life. Do borrow our flippers and snorkels at any time to go exploring.

SWIM WITH TURTLES
Have the experience of a lifetime swimming with the magnificent Hawksbill turtles that are native to Barbados. They hatch on both our beaches and adults are found swimming in our bay.

CRUISE THE COAST
Book a boat ride and let the Water Sports team take you on a cruise up our lovely coast line. Perhaps even book a picnic to take with and ask to be left on a nearby beach.

TOUR THE GARDENS, PALM HOUSE & ORCHARD
We have a small but beautiful garden, densely planted with many rare and wonderful species. Please speak to Reception if you would like one of the gardeners to show you around.

SUNBATHING ON OUR OFFSHORE PONTOON
Waves and tides permitting, the hotel’s pontoon is anchored at a comfortable swimming distance from the shore.

YOGA
Return home with newfound zen after low impact, strengthening yoga. We can arrange private instruction, whenever & wherever you like: in the gym, on your terrace, on the beach or in the Lazy Bones gazebo. To arrange in advance of your stay

SEA MOON HAIR & TREATMENT SALON
The hotel salon offers fabulous treatments including scrubs, massages, manicures and pedicures. Couples massages & some other treatments including hair appointments can be done in the privacy of your suite.

SALT WHISTLE STORE
Salt Whistle offers a selection of holiday essentials, souvenirs, local crafts and artwork as well as pretty printed linen dresses for women & shirts for men. Open every day from 9-5 except Sunday. Should you need anything at any other time, Reception will open up the store for you.

FISH WITH BARKER
Join Barker, our long-serving fisherman, in his search for the ‘Catch of the Day’, perhaps tuna, marlin, mahi mahi or king fish. The waves can be big and Barker’s boat is small so this is suitable only for those with good sea legs.

GARDEN TOURS
Barbados is a gardeners’ paradise & many fabulous tropical gardens are open to the public. Hunte’s, Andromeda Botanic Gardens, Orchid World, Welchman Hall Gully and Flower Forest all have wonderful specimens and spectacular blooms all have wonderful tropical specimens.

HERITAGE TOURS
Barbados has a rich history and fabulous old buildings, amongst them Bridgetown’s garrison which now has World Heritage status. We offer our guests tailor-made tours led by guides from the Barbados National Trust.

A tour might include both public buildings and private plantation houses not usually open to the public and would cost from US$250 per person for a half day tour, for a minimum of two people. ISLAND TAXI TOURS
Tour some of the most celebrated parts of the island or go far off the beaten track and visit the wild highlands, tiny churches of the highlands, the rugged beaches at Bathsheba and Bath, the old plantation houses and rum distilleries, all in air-conditioned comfort.

DIVING
The reefs around this island are abundant in marine life, the conditions near perfect for diving in summer but good year-round with visibility ranging from 40-70 foot and temperatures a consistent 80 degrees. Several operators provide training and guided tours, contact us should you like help organising some diving.

GOLF
Four world class courses are within easy reach of Cobblers, three at Sandy Lane and an 18 hold course at Royal Westmoreland.

Enjoy preferential rates as a Cobblers guest when you play at Royal Westmoreland or Joni the Cobblers Cove cup tournament in Jue 2020, a 3 round 54-hole stroke play tournament. Sandy Lane runs summer camps for beginners.

FRANKLIN STEVENSON CRICKET ACADEMY
Cricket training is available at this fabulous facility run by professional cricketer and golfer, Franklyn Stephenson, a Bajan national and ex-county cricketer. Two hour private or group sessions are available for all abilities.

CATAMARAN SAILING
Those with good sea legs may wish to charter a private catamaran to cruise the stunning coastline from the water.

DEEP SEA FISHING
Several operators offer deep sea fishing off the coast of Barbados. You are likely to catch Barracuda, Tuna, Wahoo and Blue and White Marlin. Fishing is particularly good between January and April when all of the game fish are in season.

SURFING
There is wonderful surfing on the South and South East coasts. Take surfing lessons or just visit one of the safer surfing beaches for some roller coaster waves.

POLO
Polo has been popular here for well over a century. The international polo season runs from just after Christmas through to May with teams from all over the world visiting. New polo centres spring up all the time, but for many people the beating heart of local polo remains at the nearby Holder’s Polo ground.

HORSE RACING
The Barbados Turf Club, established in 1905, has three seasons a year, with about 25 race meetings between January & April, May to September and November to December at the Historic Garrison Savannah, close to Bridgetown and the home of racing here since 1845.

CRICKET
Cricket is the national sport of the West Indies. World-class matches are held at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown. You can catch a good game of cricket almost any time here, an international Test Match, a One-Day at Kensington Oval, a local First Division match or a friendly game on a beach or village field.
