Restaurants

Coral Stone Club Condos does not have a restaurant on-site, but we are conveniently located within walking distance of over fifteen restaurants. Many more options are a short taxi ride away.

BBQ Grill

There are two propane BBQ grills available for the use of our guests and owners. One is located in front of the tennis courts, and the second can be found behind the fitness center.

Garbage cans are located next to each grill. Please tidy the BBQ grill area when you are finished and dispose of litter properly. Beach-side grilling, personal charcoal and gas grills are not allowed.

Beach Equipment

All beach equipment (including sand toys, floats, snorkeling gear, and diving equipment) should be rinsed and removed from the common areas when not in use and certainly at the end of the day. None of this equipment may be stored under stairwells.

Draping towels, bathing suits, snorkel gear, etc, over the balconies is unsightly, and as such, not permitted. Each unit has been supplied with beach/pool towels, which are blue. They are to be used for the pool and beach instead of bath towels as they designate you as a Coral Stone Club Condos guest.

Pool & Hot Tubs

We have a beautiful zero-entry, saltwater infinity pool and two large hot tubs available for our guests. Please note that the hot tubs are for adults only and that there is no lifeguard on duty. Games such as Marco Polo are not allowed.

Please read the signs located in the main pool area and keep the noise level to a minimum after 9:00 PM, as other guests and children may be sleeping. Each unit has been supplied with blue beach/pool towels.

These are to be used in the pool and beach areas instead of bath towels. Children under 18 are NOT allowed in the hot tubs even if accompanied by an adult.

FAMILY TRAVEL
Coral Stone Club Condos is the perfect setting for your family vacation. All of our units are beachfront and include a patio or terrace overlooking our zero-entry infinity ledge pool, safe for children yet enjoyable for adults.

We’re especially proud of our new fitness center, one of the highest rated facilities of its kind on Grand Cayman. At 1,800 square feet we feature the newest Precor equipment, including treadmills, elliptical machines and exercise bikes.

SEVEN MILE BEACH
Your Coral Stone Grand Cayman condo sits directly on this world-famous stretch of paradise, giving you spectacular views of a peaceful stretch of an award-winning beach, the sparkling turquoise waters of the Caribbean, and breathtaking sunsets.

Seven Mile Beach encompasses so many possibilities! Maybe you want to work on your tan and watch the waves roll in, or perhaps take part in some adventurous parasailing, or take part in some laidback shallow snorkeling with your kids…

Seven Mile Beach provides everyone a chance to enjoy what a Caribbean vacation is all about.

TENNIS
The property has a tennis court located at the front of the building. We ask that you use the sign up board located next to the gate entering the court. It allows for one hour of play, per unit maximum unless no one else has signed up.

The office has a limited amount of tennis rackets and balls. Borrowed racquets and balls may be collected and returned during office hours only. Please check the office for details and be courteous and responsible when using our tennis court. Tennis Lessons available on site from Cayman Sports Ltd.

SNORKELING
Grand Cayman boasts some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world. With its crystal waters with visibility up to 100 ft, “epic” pretty much covers what kind of experience you can look forward to. There are dramatic sites just steps away from Seven Mile Beach.

The Wreck of the Cali is in only 20 ft of water and is considered one of the best snorkeling sites for beginners in all of Grand Cayman and is less than 50 yards from shore.

Cemetery Reef is long and narrow with spectacular colorful life forms, and is in less than 10 feet of water. It’s a short walk away from your Seven Mile Beach condo, and is completely accessible for all ages.

Popular west coast Cayman dive sites are easy to reach from shore when you snorkel in Grand Cayman, including these locations just south of George Town: Sunset House, Parrot’s Landing, Watersports Park, Eden Rock Dive Center, and the shallow reefs directly off Paradise Reef bar.

On the west coast just north of George Town includes the Lobster Pot Dive Centre beneath the Lobster Pot restaurant. Margaritaville Beach Resort has great snorkeling off its beach as well.

Further north includes Turtle Reef, just north of the Turtle Farm at Northwest Point, which is also a popular location. On the east coast just past the village of the East End: the shallows off Morritt’s Tortuga Club and Resort’s lovely beach offer a surprising variety of fish and other marine life.

DIVING
If you want to go diving, then you’re in for some of the most clear, colorful and diverse diving you’ll find anywhere. And most dive sites are just minutes offshore.

We’ll introduce you to some safe and skilled dive companies that’ll take you to diving hot spots where you’ll be whisked away to a world of shipwrecks, intricate tunnel systems, tarpon-filled caverns, and canyons with sponge and corals.

You can visit Grand Cayman’s North Wall which plunges deeper than 1800 metres (6000 feet). If wall diving isn’t your thing the East Side also offers accessible shore diving to great coral reefs with little to no current. Perfect for the novice, or if you’re just learning to dive.

Wreck diving is a world unto itself. And Grand Cayman is home to not only a spectacular wreck dive, but a very special one, as well. The Kittiwake is a challenging five-deck, Chanticleer Class submarine rescue ship that was in service from 1945 to 1994.

Each of the five decks have something different to offer divers: squirrelfish, a rainbow of rare sponges, Goliath groupers, and urchins. Just 64 feet from the surface to the deep at the bottom of the ship, and the top of the ship only 15 feet from the surface, the wreck cab be enjoyed by snorkelers and divers alike.

Grand Cayman’s reefs offer a variety of marine life. The fish are used to divers, and therefore unafraid of them and don’t flee when approached.

Instead, silvery Tarpon hover motionless in mid-water, surrounded by glittery Silversides, and French Angelfish that fin in close to check you out. Huge Barrel Sponges and swirling schools of fish are common off Grand Cayman. These reefs are unspoiled and hard corals thrive in the clear, warm waters.

WATERSPORTS ON SEVEN MILE BEACH
So much of what we do on Grand Cayman is in or on the water, so naturally it’s a watersports enthusiast’s fantasy come to life. From Parasailing, kitesurfing, stand up paddleboarding, a peaceful, stress-free snorkeling trip, or a more spirited wreck dive, Grand Cayman is a watersports paradise.

An exhilarating time wave-jumping across the Caribbean Sea is all part of an active day with EBanks Watersports. Rent a Sea-Doo, take a tour or maybe arrange a private boat tour or charter. Hey, you want something truly unique?

Hop aboard a former Navy SEALs RIB (Rigid-Inflatable Boat) transformed into a custom built dive boat that can take you to any dive site around Grand Cayman – and fast. Overnight diving excursions are available, as well.

Always watched Kiteboarding but never knew how to get started? Hurricane Kiteboarding can give you lessons and have you up and propelling yourself in no time. How about lobster hunting or going on a dolphin encounter in intimately sized groups?

Fat Fish Adventures can arrange some out-of-the-box tours in small groups. Stand Up Paddleboarding is the latest boarding craze, and SUP Cayman Style Paddle Board Company can teach you how to get mobile on one of their longboards so you can explore some of the tranquil areas of Grand Cayman at your own speed.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES
Some of the world’s greatest scuba diving and snorkeling can be had off the coast and along the surrounding coral reef, which is home to a mind-boggling array of interesting and exotic sea life. Stingray City is at the top of the list when it comes to a Cayman family vacation.

Truly, there are few places in the world where you can wade in wast deep water and be surrounded by up to two dozen of the most gentle, curious, and acrobatic of all sea creatures. Just imagine holding your hand out flat and feeling the sucking sensation of a friendly stingray as it looks for morsels of food.

The turtle breeding farm in West Bay is home to over nearly 16,000 turtles that range from newborn hatchlings to 600-pound adults. From May to October, it’s Turtle Season on the East End, an important and special time.

The Cayman Turtle Farm keeps a keen, close eye on nesting sites around Grand Cayman and is itself a unique family attraction, as well as heartwarming and inspirational for anyone who loves animals.

From the powdery sand beaches of Seven Mile Beach to the polar opposite, only on Grand Cayman can you actually say you’ve been to “Hell and Back” and be speaking the truth!

Hell is a spot with unusual black, jagged limestone rock formations that eerily resemble charred remains, and is located near West Bay. In Savannah, you will find the oldest structure on the island, Pedro St. James.

GRAND CAYMAN ISLAND ATTACTIONS
Grand Cayman, while a small island, is diverse in its topography, landscape, and the different kinds of attractions you can see and experience. A Grand Cayman vacation isn’t complete without a trip to Rum Point on the picturesque North Side of the island.

The clear and shallow water is perfect for children while adults have access to the top Caribbean watersport operators and beach bars on the island. There are change rooms, showers, huts, hammocks, volleyball nets, and more, so you can be as active or laid back as you choose.

George Town serves as the capital of the Cayman Islands; and with a population close to 59,000, it’s the second largest city in the British Overseas Territories.

While small by North American standards, many of the around-600 bank and trust companies in the Cayman Islands are located here as are the Caymanian government offices.

Bodden Town, the first Cayman capital, was once ravaged by pirates long ago. This former village is home to the remains of a 6 km wall and cannon. There are many other historic sites here as well: the Guard House, a monument to Queen Victoria, and Gun Square with two 18th century cannons.

Is any trip to the Cayman Islands truly fulfilled until you’ve seen a Blue Iguana? This endangered species is only found on Grand Cayman, and is strictly protected by Cayman law. Only about 150 mature Blue Iguanas remain in the wild, found exclusively in the dense interior of the eastern district of Grand Cayman.

ABOUT GRAND CAYMAN
Grand Cayman is the largest of the three Cayman Islands. Its world-renowned Seven Mile Beach and azure blue waters have made it one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean.

Some of the world’s greatest scuba diving can be enjoyed off the coast and along the surrounding coral reef, home to a myriad of exotic sea life. Spend your days exploring the many wonders that bring the island’s unique personality to life.

Be sure to visit the turtle farm with its human-sized terrapins, experience a unique adventure at Stingray City, or drive out to the sparsely populated east side of the island with its scenic expanse of craggy coastline.

In Savannah, you will find the oldest structure on the island, Pedro St. James. Built in 1780 by slave labor and surrounded by lush gardens, the Pedro “Castle” multi-media center will transport you back two hundred years to the birth of democracy in the Cayman Islands.

With more than one hundred restaurants, Grand Cayman is a food-lovers dream come true. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite, or a dinner you’ll never forget, the island offers a full range of cuisines from all parts of the world.

As for traditional Cayman specialties, be sure to try the island’s Jamaican-inspired jerk and curry dishes, featuring conch, lobster and local seafood, complimented by coconut, plantain, breadfruit, yams, cassava, rice and peas and other West Indian side dishes.

If you’re feeling truly exotic, try one of the native turtle dishes, traditionally served stew/steak style. Coral Stone Club Condos’ central location on Seven Mile Beach serves as the perfect launching point for your daily activities, and puts you in walking distance to some of the island’s finest cuisine and shopping.
