The Blackbox, the chef’s table, is our option for guests with a predilection for the extravagant. Book an exclusive food experience at our legendary chef’s table for a closed group or groups of 6 people or more.

Of course, this “up-close and exclusive” experience with Alexander und Christian Marent costs a little extra. But it’s definitely worth it.

We will set the table for you in a private, stylish room, right next to the gourmet kitchen of the Bruderherz á-la-carte-restaurant . It has a glass front, through which you can watch professional chefs Christian and Alexander Marent at work.

You can see for yourself how the pair create your custom menu, which you will plan together in advance. And if you know Christian and Alexander Marent, you will know that the two of them are always good for an interesting story, in addition to their superb cuisine.

The rules are clear. What happens in the Blackbox stays in the Blackbox. A true insider party location.

THE LOUNGE BAR
Our lounge-bar with a crackling fireplace and a sunny open-air terrace is a dignified meeting place, where friendly service and chill lounge music create a positive and relaxing ambience. Comfy armchairs and corner sofas invite you to come and put your feet up.

There, you can enjoy a refreshing drink after skiing or hiking, or before you enjoy an exquisite meal at the Bruderherzstube á-la-carte restaurant and move on to explore the nightlife in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region.

Finnish sauna(90°): Did you know that there are 1.5 million saunas in Finland? Finnish saunas are a centuries-old tradition, which cleanses your skin and frees your airways. In our original Finnish sauna, you can enjoy a shvitz at 80-100°C with aromatic infusions over hot stones.

SOFT SAUNA

Soft sauna (55°): Another sauna option with milder temperatures, which has positive effects on the body. The increased air humidity does wonders for the body, mind, and senses.

STREAM BATH

Steam bath: Even the Romans knew about the therapeutic effects of hot steam. The steam bath still enjoys great popularity to this day. It is the perfect addition to a relaxing massage.

Because there’s no other place with an all-weather programme that’s as diverse as ours. With a varied event schedule, museums and castles you can visit, horse-riding lessons, carriage rides, day trips around the local region, and much more, there is always something to do.

HIKING
On a hiking holiday at DAS MARENT, you can explore the Tyrolean mountain landscape with its most spectacular tours, and the traditional ski lodges with their finest delicacies. Between the imposing summits, you can find lots of easy walking routes, as well as some more demanding ones.

You will be given your ticket to the Tyrolean mountain summer, the Super. Summer. Card., free of charge upon your arrival at our hotel. You can use it to travel on all of the summer cable cars in the holiday region, free of charge.

You can take the hikers’ bus for free between the towns of Fiss, Serfaus, and Ladis, and can access all of the starting points for the most beautiful routes around the mountain peaks.

You can enjoy travelling from a moderate altitude of 1,200 metres, up to 3,000 metres above sea level, where all of your day-to-day worries will disappear in the mist. One thing is certain; the Tyrolean mountains are home to lots of pleasures for hikers.

CYCLING
It doesn’t always have to be about hiking. Cycling is the skiing of summer, and Fiss has the perfect infrastructure for activities on two wheels. Pleasant and relaxed, or athletic and ambitious, there are many trails you can take with an e-bike, mountain bike, or racing bike to the most beautiful spots in the Upper Inn Valley.

The Serfaus Bike Park, right next to the Waldbahn train, and only a few minutes away from the DAS MARENT hotel, is widely known for its diverse range of trails for beginners and experts. If you’re looking for fun and action, then the Summer Fun Park in Fiss at the Möseralm in Fiss is the perfect place for you.

The Fisser Flitzer, Fisser Flieger, sky swing, artificial snow, tubing track, XXL trampoline, slackline park, playground, and other fantastic attractions create a fun paradise for visitors of all ages, and for the whole family.

BIKE HOLIDAY IN TYROL.
The mountainous terrain around Fiss and DAS MARENT is full of places of natural beauty. Here, you can recuperate and recharge among the Tyrolean Alps. For instance, on the sun terrace at DAS MARENT or in one of the comfortable lofts with a view of the mountains and gourmet catering included.

Gentle exercise with the e-bike
There are a lot of wonderful sights and excellent cycling routes around the sunny plateau our hotel is located on. The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis would be delighted to share these with you, and provides an entire fleet of ultra-modern bicycles for visitors to hire.

From May to October, you can explore the sunny plateau in a more stylish and less strenuous way; by e-bike.

At the midst of the popular hiking region of Fiss, you can find all kinds of inviting rest stops. On the panoramic trail above the towns of Serfaus and Fiss, or along the alpine promenade, you will be reminded to take pause and enjoy the magnificent views – on your own or with your loved ones.

You can take a break to refuel with traditional delicacies at one of the many alpine restaurants and lodges. In the evening, a freshly prepared 5-course meal will be waiting for you at the hotel, created personally by Alexander and Christian Marent.

TYROL: A BEND PARADISE.
Even your journey to DAS MARENT in Fiss is full of bends to delight any biker. Sweeping turns and astonishing views accompany the ride up to the sunny plateau high above the Upper Inn Valley that DAS MARENT calls home.

The perfect starting point for motorbike tours in the border triangle region of Tyrol-Engadin-South Tyrol. The Kaunertaler Gletscherstraße, the Reschenpass, the Stilftser Joch, the Ofenpass, and other attractive routes to Italy and Switzerland are all located close by. You can hire bikes and equipment from the hotel, for a fee.

WINTER HOLIDAYS

Fiss has a lot of different activities to offer besides skiing and snowboarding. Around the village, there are sunny winter hiking routes that will take you through magnificent winter landscapes. There are also well-maintained cross-country skiing trails for those who prefer more gentle exercise.

With over 2,000 hours of sunshine a year, DAS MARENT is located at one of the sunniest spots in Tyrol. However, if the sun decides not to shine, you can spend a day of your holiday enjoying our hotel’s own spa or shopping at Alena’s Shop in the hotel lobby.

THE FREE SHUTTLE CAN BRING YOU TO THE CABLE CARS IN FISS, EVERY DAY.
There’s always something happen in the Fiss ski region and at its Fun Park. The slopes at the sunny plateau are perfectly suited for both beginners and advanced skiers, as well as for the whole family. Here, you can usually have the wide slopes to yourself.

With lots of natural snow, complemented with state-of-the-art artificial snow, there is a fantastic winter flair here from December through to April. For all snowboarders and free-skiers, there are 2 fun parks. An extensive free-riding area with 10 signposted routes will round out your wintersports holiday.

To ensure a relaxed day of wintersports, our shuttle commutes every morning to the cable car from the hotel, located in a peaceful part of Fiss with panoramic views. This service is included, and there is no need to book it or pay an additional fee.

LEARN TO SKI FROM THE EXPERTS AT THE FISS-LADIS SKI SCHOOL.
The Fiss-Ladis ski school has received many awards, and is one of the best in the alpine region. Service and top quality are the priority. The services and facilities offered range from classic skiing lessons, to a children’s ski area packed full with adventure, private guided free-riding, right up to the latest trend sports.

At the mid-station of the Sonnenbahn, which connects Fiss and Ladis, you can find Berta’s Kinderland, an unparalleled children’s ski centre. With practice lifts, conveyor systems, indoor and outdoor play areas, a ski nursery, and much more.

WINTER SPORT PARADISE

Taking you from top station to top station, and from Fiss to Serfaus, the scenic road offers magnificent views of the Ötz Valley Alps. Afterwards, you can relax at the hotel’s own spa area and refuel with a hearty afternoon snack as part of our gourmet catering service.

Classic, skating, fun trails, and extreme tours: The 112 kilometres of cross-country ski trails in the region have something for everyone.

The high-altitude cross-country ski trails in Serfaus, located 2,000 metres above sea level, offer excellent conditions until mid-April. Cross-country ski coaching and equipment hire are available on site and can be booked individually.

Tobogganing: traditional fun.
There are 10 kilometres of scenic toboggan runs in the region, which guarantee fun and camaraderie during the day and of an evening.

The Rodelabend (tobogganing evening) in Fiss is legendary, and takes place every Thursday from 18:00 to 22:00 on the most well-lit descent from the Möseralm (3.8 km). Before that, you can enjoy traditional comforts as a fondue dinner at the Möseralm.

ROMANTIC ICE-SKATING
On the Lader Weiher pond, you can ice-skate in a truly romantic setting. The ice-skating rink made from natural ice is located at the foot of the picturesque Laudegg Castle in Ladis, situated high above the Upper Inn Valley.

There are ice-skating evenings and curling events held there every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Your “EISTAXI Serfaus-Fiss” will pick you up.
