These 2 large properties measuring 115 m² each are located upstairs and offer 2 apartments that can be interconnected upon request. They were once the stable granaries where fodder was kept. They have retained their rural spirit thanks to the decoration and the beautiful exposed beams.
The first apartment has a large bedroom, separated by a semi-partition wall from the lounge area which has two comfy sofas. A small separate room is equipped with twin beds for children. The spacious bathroom with bath tub and shower, toilet and separate bidet and walk-in-wardrobe complete this apartment.
The view from the windows leads onto the Estate’s cottages. Finally, the small garden-level terrace is directly accessible from the double patio door from the lounge, furnished with a table and four chairs as well as two deckchairs in the garden area.
The second apartment has a large bedroom, separated by a semi-partition wall from the lounge area which has two large comfy sofas. A small separate bedroom is equipped with twin beds for children. Covering 86m² each upstairs, the 2 Maison du Meunier apartments can be interconnected upon request. They were once the stable granaries and have retained their rural spirit thanks to the decoration and the beautiful exposed beams.
The first apartment has a large lounge-bedroom with two large comfy sofas. A mezzanine, equipped with two twin beds accommodates children who will be delighted to find themselves upstairs in a space that opens onto the lounge-bedroom area.
The view from the windows leads onto the golf course and the small terrace accessible by the entrance hall overlooking the start of golf course’s hole No.1. Perfect for families or groups, you will find a spacious bathroom with bath tub and shower, toilet and separate bidet and a walk-in-wardrobe.
The 2nd apartment is particularly spacious and has a lounge-bedroom with two large comfy sofas. It also has a separate bedroom with a single bed. The mezzanine with single bed opens on to the lounge-bedroom area.
You will also find a spacious bathroom with bath tub and shower, toilet and separate bidet and a walk-in-wardrobe. The small terrace is directly accessible from the patio door. Perfect for long stays, when plenty of space and independence is required and for families or groups of friends.
JUNIOR SUITE DELUXE
These 2 rooms approximately 55m² in size are located in the big house and overlook the park, swimming pool or golf course.
One apartment is classically decorated while the other features a more contemporary design, they have an entrance with desk, a large bathroom with bath and shower and a lounge area opening onto the bedroom for greater privacy.
CHAMBRE SUPÉRIEURE
These 5 rooms from 33 to 39 m² in the Main House. Park and courtyard view. Spacious and pretty room decorated in classic style design. Very comfortable, it can welcome you for a longer stay for one up to 3 persons.
BERNARD RIGAUDIS RESTAURANT
Come and discover the Bernard Rigaudis restaurant just a step from the City of Carcassonne! The dining room, furnished in fine fabrics, extends along terraces and onto the garden opposite the golf course. When the weather is fine, dinner is served in the gardens.
When winter comes, the heat of the big fireplace accompany the dinners of the guests. Chef Philippe Deschamps offers traditional and regional cuisine, boasting delicious meats, seasonal game, line-caught fish and ancestral dishes. As for desserts, they are the creations of Jérôme Lauvand
which will whet your appetite with seasonal fruits, handmade chocolates and a selection of old recipes handed down from our grandmothers. Bernard Rigaudis, founder of the Estate, had a passion for his region and land and had always proudly promoted the great wines of Languedoc Roussillon.
Today, time has proven him wise and our sommelier will help you in discovering these wonderful wines. After dinner, diners can enjoy the cosy atmosphere of the lounges and enjoy a selection of digestives or take part in a game of French billiards, created in the old cellars of the Carolingian Abbey.
BISTROT D’AURIAC
“The Bistrot of Auriac” opened its doors on 2003, overlooking the departure of the Golf. Friendly and delicious kitchen elaborated from local products, served in an relaxing atmosphere at affordable prices.
“Daily specials” are available at lunchtime, while evening meals are based around meats roasted in the fireplace. A simple, light and ideal cooking also, for the golfers!
In summer: opened every day except Sunday evening (due to competition award presentations). In winter: opened from Tuesday to Sunday included for lunchtime and only from Thursday to Saturday included for dinner.
EVENTS & SEMINARS
The Domaine d’Auriac has set up its old attic into a place to fully accommodate your business events and seminars.
This conference room is equipped with an overhead projector and big screen, as well as Wifi and tables and chairs. The rustic decor and exposed beams give an impression of peacefulness which is ideal for concentration.
Further relaxation can be found just a step away on the terrace where the tercentenary park suddenly surfaces surrounded by the stunning nature of Occitania. The room extends over an area of 110m2, accommodating up to 80 people according to your desired set-up.
PARCS & PISCINE
Welcome in the most secret natural garden of Carcassonne. Since this park looks like a natural orchard, where abound the Mediterranean aromas, hundreds of birds populate trees all year round.
Very green and adapted to every natural enthusiast, you can glose yourself on the running courses while others will walk on the paths of the wood. Relaxation and peace guaranteed in the middle of the valleys of the Aude.
The big swimming pool of the Domaine d’Auriac, brightened up and below a natural pergola, offers a moment of peace of mind for the adults or games for the children, and vice versa.
