ACCOMMODATION
Domaine des Escaunes offers you to spend the night in one of our 22 comfortable rooms and suites in Occitanie, near the Pont du Gard, Uzès, between Nîmes and Avignon.
We suggest different types of accommodation: Comfort Room, Superior Room, Junior Suite, Junior Suite with Terrace, and Suite. You will necessarily find the formula that suits you. Several rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Those that are not enjoy a pleasant natural freshness.
SUITE ROOM
The Grenache Suite is nestled in the oldest part of the house, on the first floor, accessed by a majestic staircase. During your stay at the Domaine des Escaunes, you will have the privilege of staying in an accommodation with two bedrooms, with queen size bed 160 x 200 cm for the first, king size double bed 180 x 200 cm for the second (possibility of bed extra).
There is a bathroom with bathtub, a desk, TV, Wi-Fi, a safe and a hairdryer. Comfort and refinement are at the corner of your Suite which offers a view of the historic courtyard of the estate and nature. Upon arrival, you will find bath products.
JUNIOR SUITE
Domaine des Escaunes offers you the Juniors Suites “Mourvèdre” and “Carrignan”, two spacious accommodations for 2 to 4 people. During your stay in Sernhac, you will enjoy a king size double bed 180 x 200 cm and possibility of adding two single beds 90 x 200 cm. You will have a large bathroom with shower and bathtub for the first Junior Suite, with spacious shower for the second.
Decorated with care, combining old and new, these 47 and 56 sq. M. Accommodations, located in the historical part of the estate, offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. Junior Suites are equipped with flat screen TVs and Wi-Fi, safes and hair dryers. At your entrance you will find bath products.
SUPERIOR ROOM
Spend a pleasant and relaxing night in one of our superior rooms with spacious rooms ranging from 30 to 55 m² and a choice view of the countryside or the garden of the estate. During your stay in Occitanie, you will benefit from a sleeping area with king size double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a private bathroom with shower and / or bath.
Designed to accommodate two people, the Superior room allows the addition of an extra bed or a sofa bed for the reception of a third person eventual. Your room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with TNT channels and Wi-Fi, a safe and a hairdryer.

The Domaine des Escaunes houses the Salle Henri IV (95 m²), the Salle François Ier (75 m²) and the Salle Richelieu (27 m²).

SERNHAC
The village of Sernhac is worth a detour. Peaceful and charming, it boasts remarkable architectural curiosities. You will find in the village tunnels (galleries of section 3m x 2m) dug by the Romans in the middle of the 1st century AD. They served as passage to the conduit Pont du Gard aqueduct.
GARD’S BRIDGE
A 10-minute drive from our estate, the Pont du Gard is the majestic witness to the grandeur of the Roman Empire. This bridge-aqueduct is one of the most visited monuments of the South of France. It is a construction prowess that seduces young and old.
DISCOVER UZÈS
The small town of Uzès is one of the essential visits of an always tourist stay in the Gard. Famous for its duchy, the cathedral, the Fenestrelle square or its garden, the medieval city has the charm of these cities with a rich past.

NIMES
Less than 30 minutes by car from the Domaine des Escaunes, the city of Nîmes, prefecture of the Gard department is world famous for its buildings dating from the Roman Empire, in an exceptional state of conservation. You will not fail to visit the majestic arenas of Nîmes, the Maison Carrée and the Magne tower. Many also appreciate the Fountain Gardens and the Temple of Diana.
THE CAMARGUE
The Camargue, a vast wetland located in the Rhone delta, is a Mecca of Provençal culture and an original area of high quality: biological richness, diversity of fauna and flora, variety of landscapes, specificity of agricultural activities.
The territory of the Camargue Regional Nature Park covers three communes: Arles, Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône. It extends over more than 100,000 ha and 75 km of coastline.

BACK 2000 YEARS BACK
The Gard department was particularly marked by the Roman presence.
