The Owners
Andi and Julika have been running the Gloriette Guesthouse with love and passion since 2018. Andi is the sommelier and technical expert: Let him shake you a cocktail or recommend you one of their fantastic wines and you’ll want more. Julika by his side receives and welcomes guests with generous and useful advice and her lovely smile.
Together they have realized the dream of recreating the glorious Gloriette, a special place where attention to detail is mixed with warmth and friendliness. Mama Birgitt takes care of the decoration and the flowers with great attention to detail.

From the mountains to the city in a moment
Gloriette is easily reached by car which can then be forgotten as cable car and train accessibility is excellent. The cable car goes from 7 am to 10.45 pm and connects the city to Soprabolzano without stopping. The mountain station is 150 meters from the Guesthouse.
Gloriette’s garden is a perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of daily life, a haven where you can just breathe in the beauty of your surroundings.

Glorious Gloriette
Over a century ago the Gloriette was a small pleasure house located in the gardens of the houses of Bolzano’s nobility. A place where you could eat well and drink even better. Today Birgitt, Andy and Julika want to share and give life to this concept of a home synonymous with joy, feeling good and just letting go.
Gloriette combines eating well and drinking well with their in-house bistro. A place for guests and priviledged public alike. The style is that of an age gone by where quality waits to be discovered in every detail.

Rooms & Suites
Our rooms are all completely new. Some small, others medium and some large: all comfortable and fully equipped with what you need to relax, unwind and enjoy. Each with sweeping views that look down towards the city and up towards the mountains.
Fireplace Suite
Carefully selected furniture, a magnificent balcony with views spanning the mountains to the city and huge windows that dance in the light: this is our luxury suite and for that reason we have created only one.
Whirlpool Suite Garden
Relaxing in the Whirlpool on the garden terrace and looking at the stars. A small garden distinguishes this south-facing suite. Some of the decorations are made for all the “city lovers” and reflect the good times in Bolzano city.
Lorenzi Suite
Named after the saint who loved the stars, and designed for those of you who also love them. Small lights stud the ceiling creating your very own celestial sky.

Dining
What would a holiday be without delicious food and cool drinks? The answer – pretty mediocre. And since we have no place for mediocrity, we start the day by serving the crème de la crème for breakfast.
In our small, yet very nice Ristorantino our top chefs, spoil you with refined Alpine and Mediterranean dishes at both lunch and dinner time. Afterwards, round off an already perfect day with a few drinks in the Lounge Bar.
Breakfast
We believe in serving only the best, which is why you won´t find a standard buffet at Gloriette. Each day dawns with something a little different. Each breakfast begins with a smile and a warm greeting from us, a word of welcome and an offer of what´s in store for you.
Help yourself to our market fresh selection of fruit, vegetables, cereals, freshly baked bread, jams and more. We even offer some bubbly at breakfast – Franciacorta, an effervescent vintage of which we are very proud. Even if it´s not sunny outside we guarantee it always is at breakfast time.
Puro Fine Dining
We can’t be doing with classic gourmet menus and measly buffets. Offering that certain je ne sais quoi is something which lies close to our hearts. For those who wish to be spoilt either at lunch or dinner time, enjoy an exclusive selection of wonderfully authentic and refined dishes created for you by our top chefs.
In doing so they favour regional ingredients which are both delicious and of high quality. Indulge in Alpine and Mediterranean cuisine at its best! And for those who appreciate exclusive rustic Alpine style, be sure to reserve a table in the “Stube”, our original panelled farmhouse dining room!
Lounge Bar
First scenario: you’ve had a sensational dinner in Ristorantino and want to round off the evening with a delicious G&T or Vermouth cocktail. Second scenario: you’ve been on the go all evening painting the town red, you’ve had fun and eaten like kings, but you still fancy a last tipple.
Then take a seat at our Lounge Bar and treat yourself to whatever you’re in the mood for. If it’s already past midnight – no worries! Our Trust Bar is open around the clock. DIY, mix yourselves a nightcap and enjoy the freedom of being on holiday.
Rooftop Spa
Our wellness area may be small but it delivers big emotions. There´s the pool in the sky with a view that sweeps from the city to the mountains, but that´s not all, there´s a sauna, a Turkish bath and relaxation area.
Experience for yourself the ideal way to wind down after hitting the city streets or a hiking in the mountains: for the purists we have fresh fruit and herbal teas and for the more decadent an effervescent glass of some sparkling wine – one can never have too many bubbles darling! Adults only…

From the roof of the Gloriette you can see and have it all. Gaze up at the sky and the mountains and down into the valley where you will see Bolzano stretching out below you. The pool is small but perfectly formed, immerse yourself in a dream and let your tension float away.
Breathe deep your surroundings, Corno di Renon´s soaring peaks, the everchanging colours of the woods and fields around you – abandon yourself to stillness, your body drifting in the water and your stress drifting away.
Chill Area
From the roof of the Gloriette you can see and have it all. Gaze up at the sky and the mountains and down into the valley where you will see Bolzano stretching out below you.
Hot hot hot!
Find peace and quiet in the Finnish sauna and Turkish bath – here stress evaporates away. Up here in Soprabolzano coolness reigns in the summer and nothing soothes the senses more than steam and a little bit of sweat. Come and wind down after a day of activity, relaxation is only a breath away.

… and exercise! How about it? Before chilling on the roof, why not head to the cellar for a workout which is sure to make you sweat? For those of you wishing to tone up, we have now set up a pretty cool gym!
