Just 30 minutes from Madrid is Toledo. An ancient city, a crossroads of different cultures: Arab, Jewish and Christian, and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.
In that same setting, and in one of the most privileged places in the city, is the Hacienda del Cardenal, near to all the places of interest and settled in one of the most beautiful surroundings.
The hotel is located in the upper part of the garden. The entrance hall, crowned with the Lorenzana family coat of arms, houses the hotel reception and gives way to a hall with a wooden ceiling in use in the second half of the 18th century.
Corridors lined with sisal paths distribute the 27 rooms on two floors, mostly oriented to the north, facing the garden, with windows imitating the popular white lacquer.
We access the upper floor via a staircase whose railing is from the 16th century, where we can see a replica of “Storm over Toledo”, a prelude to the neoclassical social room, whose fireplace is the center of an irregular room where we can find two Cordovan armchairs.

La Taberna
As an alternative, or as a complement to the restaurant, you can also enjoy our unique tavern. Its menu offers a selection of tapas and portions typical of the area and houses a cellar with a large selection of wines from the Land, Riojas and Riberas del Duero.

It’s time to spend some quality time on our chill-out terrace and have a drink or two. You will also be able to walk along the only passable piece of the wall that remains in Toledo, which can only be accessed through our gardens.
