Susanne and Jean-Louis Bottigliero, House Masters, wanted to create in this little paradise of Burgundy, a warm atmosphere where the art of living and the well-being set the tone.

The Hostellerie de Levernois, is an authentic house with the charm of the Burgundy stone, a tasty cuisine proposed by our starry table and our bistro, made from quality food and from the house garden vegetables.

In harmony with the nature, the house surrounded by a park of 6 hectares, provides a quite environment where you can find peace and tranquility.

Only 5 minutes from the A6 highway, in a preserved site, the House of Suzanne & Jean-Louis Bottigliero cultivates a simple and elegant lifestyle, a luxury without ostentation.

Since 2004 and through ambition and passion, the Bottigliero couple made his dream come true by transforming this 18th century house and its outbuildings into a sublime estate Relais & Châteaux in harmony with the Burgundy nature.

Park, garden and vegetable garden
Nestled in a park of 6 hectares, the Hostellerie de Levernois opens its door to nature. Here the paths wind between the trees, there a wooden bridge crosses the small river Bouzaize, further a stone wall structure the landscape.

Between the Louisiana Centennial Cedars and the Black Walnuts of the Americas, the environment gives the envy of a gentle country walk a few kilometers from Beaune. Along the river, ferns and aquatic mint spread their bouquet of scents and colors.

The shade of the majestic trees encourages reading or simply dreaming on a bench, while the trails along the vegetables garden and golf invite to walk, on foot or by bike.

Located right in front of the main buiding, the French garden offers a magnificent view from the lounges of our gastronomic restaurant. Hurdles, trimmed shrubs, vegetal tunnels, central fountain and water sets enhance the natural prestige of the House.

In the heart of the park, a terrace, with tables, seats and umbrellas offers the happiness of a moment of relaxation or a musical aperitif to the jazzy sound of a piano and a double bass.

Convinced of good food and short circuits, the Hostellerie de Levernois cultivates a colored organic vegetable garden. Tomatoes Green Zebra, Blanche du Canada or Osu, zucchini, pumpkins, carrots, to each vegetable its season!

In addition, a bed of aromatic herbs and a conservatory orchard of about thirty varieties of fruits, apples and pears but also quinces, medlars, nectarines ou almonds, come to the plates of the chef Philippe Augé. Nearby, the hives and the buzzing bees allows to collect the honey of the Hostellerie de Levernois, a 100% local nectar!

Besides the pleasure of harvesting his own honey, fruits and vegetables, there is a real desire on the part of the owners to preserve biodiversity and to realize their commitment to sustainable development.

L’Hostellerie de Levernois, Relais & Châteaux en Bourgogne, proposs 22 Bedrooms and 4 Resort Suites divided into 3 buildings, in the heart of a park of 6 hectares. Each of the 5 Star 26 bedrooms has its own identity, combining subtly tradition and modernity.

The House
6 luxurious Bedrooms and Suites are housed on the 1st and 2nd floor in the comfort of a Family Home. In the House, there is also the Reception, the Bar, the Gastronomic Restaurant “La Table de Levernois*” and the Bistrot de Bord de l’Eau.

The Pavilion
In the heart of the park, the Pavilion houses 12 large bright Bedrooms on the garden level, each with a private terrace, opening on nature.

The Meix des Glycines
This old building of the 18th century adjoining to the House, accomodates 8 Bedrooms et Suites on the 1st and 2nd floors, mixing traditional material, wood and stones of Burgundy and modern decoration.

Suites Village and Suite Park
Located in the Meix des Glycines or in the main house, the 4 suites, including 2 with view on the park. Each of the 4 Suites offers a special atmosphere where discreet luxury and contemporary materials invite you to escape.

The 2 Park View Suites open their windows to the generous nature of this little corner of Burgundy. Offers guests a real jewel of softness and comfort 5 Star, near Beaune. Give yourself a moment out of time together or with family.

Gastronomic Restaurant
La Table de Levernois
Close to Beaune, the Hostellerie de Levernois opens the doors of its Gastronomique restaurant 1* at the guide Michelin, “La Table de Levernois*”. Bathed in light, with view on the park and the river that runs through it, the restaurant room of the Table de Levernois welcomes all fine gourmets for a little moment of happiness.

Bernard Bruyer, our Maître d’hôtel, will be happy to receive you and to share you his passion of the local food and the good products. The gastronomic restaurant proposes his card as well as 4 different menus, including a vegetarian and invites you to discover the starry cuisine of our Chef, Philippe Augé.

A table in the stars
After starting as Chef de Partie by Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel de Paris in Monte Carlo, Philippe Augé continues his climb and climbbed the ladder until his star in 2001 at the Relais & Châteaux Royal Champagne. Since 2008, he took over the reins of the kitchens of the Hostellerie de Levernois and continues to seduce the palate of the gourmands.

Particularly attentive to the quality, the Chef favors seasonal products from local producers, sometimes even directly cultivated by Benjamin Forin, our gardener of the vegetable gardens of the homestead.

Philippe Augé, Rémy De Barros, his Second, Jean Marc Diop, Pastry Chef, and the rest of the brigade, will surely delight your tast buds.

Bistro Restaurant at Levernois
The Bistrot du Bord de l’Eau, located in the small town of Levernois and laid out in the old kitchens of the historic building of the Hostellerie dating back to 1750, makes the connection between yesterday and today : double fireplace and exposed stone walls recalls the charm of Burgundy stone.

Elodie Nicolas and her team welcome you to the Bistrot du Bord de l’Eau at Levernois for a moment high in flavor. Take a seat at the table for a gourmet moment with friends, family or one-on-one and discover a cuisine highlighting the products of our region in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The conviviality of “good eating”
In winter, enjoy a fireside dinner and savor the Chef’s comfort food. On sunny days, the terrace of our restaurant The Bistrot du BOrd de l’Eau, near Beaune, opens its doors and offers you a meal along the river La Bouzaise for a sunny lunch right on the plate. In full summer, appreciate a dinner outside at Levernois, far from the tumult of the city.

Lead by Philippe Augé and Bernard Morillon, the cuisine of the bistro is fresh and greedy, reinvented daily on the basis of market products and vegetables from our vegetable garden.

It also puts Burgundy on the menu : Snakes in sweet garlic broth, eggs in a Chardonnay style or also marbled ham are the best dishes of the Bistrot du Bord de l’Eau. Souvenirs of the Hostellerie de Levernois and wine discoveries
Unique concept mixing shop and adjoining wine tasting cellar, in a nice outbuilding of the XVIIIth century located between the Hostellerie de Levernois and the park of the Hostellerie, « la Boutik » offers a selection of exclusive products, between beautiful discoveries, and heart strokes.

Here you can find sommellerie articles, art of table or also delicatessen. In the adjoining cellar, the wine makes law. Discover the wines of Burgundy during the tastings commented by the sommeliers of the Hostellerie de Levernois.

To know everything about vineyards, climates and grapes, Nicolas Geoffroy et Philippe Meurger meet you on Thursdays and Saturdays evening (reservation required). The tasting cellar can be privatized for a group tasting up to 10 persons maximum.

Adjoining the Hostellerie de Levernois and connected by a footbridge from the park, the golf de Beaune Levernois is the only green in the region to offer two courses, an 18-hole course and a compact 9-hole course for recreational golf.

Its immediate proximity and its priviled location on the Burgundy wine road make it a privileged activity during a stay at the Hostellerie de Levernois. From the recently renovated Club House with floor-to-ceiling windows, the view of the course is panoramic.
