Built in 2006 according to the principle of bio-architecture, and geo-thermally heated, the chalet is quite unique in the Alpine region. Simple, timeless materials like local wood and stone give the building a distinctive, welcoming character typical of mountain homes.

The chalet is the result of one family’s love for Alpine nature and traditions. The Schiavon family put their dreams into practice after living in the area since the ’70, and still run the business today. Their commitment is to offer you a personal, family welcome during your stay.

At the edge of the forest, just 25 metres from the end of the ski slope and the Spinale cable car downhill station, and 250 metres from the centre of Madonna di Campiglio.

BIOARCHITECTURE AND ECOLOGY
Built in 2006, according to the principles and rules of bio-architecture, Hotel del Sogno has received the eco-label certification that attests its reduced environmental impact and its respect for the territory.

The building is thermically and acoustically insulated and is heated with geothermal energy by exploiting the earth’s heat. This considerably diminishes carbon dioxide emissions and eliminates the production of toxic waste in the air.

For plasters, wooden coverings and floors only natural materials were used, namely: wood, wool lime and local stone. The electrical installation does not generate magnetic fields and heating is provided by floor panels.

The absence of movement of hot or cold air reduces dust in the air and therefore allergies. In this way we try to contribute to sustainable development and to build a future that respects the environment in which we live, offering our customers maximum comfort.

THE SUITES
The chalet boasts eighteen spacious bedrooms, all intimate, refined, sound-proofed, bio-conditioned and decorated with characteristic features based on the theme of local flora and fauna.

Wood panelling in fir, larch or Swiss pine, large bathrooms with hydro-massage tub or shower, panoramic balconies and beautifully made majolica heating stoves create a superbly comfortable environment. The three floors of the hotel are characterised by a theme that runs vertically through each suite.

LUXURY SUITE DEI CICLAMINI

MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO
The pearl of the Dolomites, an alpine village inserted in a natural context of rare beauty. Tourist destination of international fame in winter and summer, Madonna di Campiglio is an alpine village located in a natural valley surrounded by woods and mountains.

Thanks to a ring road with tunnels and large parking lots located in the main access points, its center is limited to traffic and allows you to move freely between shops, restaurants and boutiques in the pedestrian area. Madonna di Campiglio was born in the XII century. when a small hospice and a church were built.

The name “Madonna” seems to have originated from an ancient writing of 1222 by a monk, which referred to the hospital where he worked, that of the “glorious Mother of God Maria di Ambino”.

The second part of the name “di Campiglio” would mean “small field / plain”. In later times a chapel dedicated to Santa Maria di Campiglio was built which later became “Madonna di Campiglio”.

It was to an entrepreneur, a certain Giambattista Righi di Strembo, who erected the first hotel in 1868, in addition to undertaking the construction of a connecting road between Val Rendena and Campiglio at his own expense, so as to make it accessible by carriage.

An area of passage for wayfarers, merchants of cattle and wood, it is precisely towards the end of the 19th century that it becomes a tourist-summer destination for the Central European nobility including the Emperors of Austria, Princess Sissi and Francesco Giuseppe.
