Notice to cross-country skiing enthusiasts: the Mont Champ du Feu ski area offers the largest cross-country route in France, with nearly 90 km of unmarked and free-access pistes at all levels.
You can introduce yourself gently to this demanding but fun discipline, or for the more experienced, discover new challenges in Alsace! Visit the French Ski School on the station to perfect your technique.
Young and old alike will appreciate the toboggan run on the estate, for relaxation and fun with the family. With our package you will be able to take advantage of the magic carpet lift, so that your time can be dedicated entirely to pleasure!
In winter or summer, winter-sports enthusiasts will love snowtubing; wearing a helmet, you hurtle down a slope of 100 metres on a huge inflatable lifebelt, to experience brand new sliding sensations! Mont Champ du Feu has two tubing tracks, accessible by the magic carpet lift.
Throughout the year, the activities offered on the resort are many and various, catering to everyone’s tastes. During walks in the snow and on snowshoes, and rambling on sunny days, the beautiful natural setting of the Champ du Feu (a Vosges mountain 1,099 metres high) reveals its charms between moorland and forests.
Horse riding in the snow also presents itself as a memorable event to experience during a stay at the resort. Or you might prefer to be tempted by “ski-joëring”, a sport from Scandinavia that consists of being towed on skis by a horse.
Rambling/walking
Located on the route of the GR5 (long-distance footpath), the site of Champ du Feu lends itself to beautiful rambles suitable for all levels.
The marked trails are numerous and will satisfy all walkers, from the beginner out for a stroll to the most experienced, for hikes of several hours or even a day. This is an opportunity to discover the many natural and cultural sites that surround the resort.
Bike
Mountain bikers will be happy here! This mountainous site offers purpose-designed trails, for devoting oneself to bike-rambling during a stay in the Vosges mountains. Other more original possibilities are also offered, such as scooters or quadbikes!
Tubing – Summer
Hurtle down the summer tubing pistes with family or friends: sitting on an oversized lifebelt and wearing a helmet, you will experience new sliding sensations! The two tracks of 100 metres each are accessible thanks to a magic carpet lift, so you won’t tire yourself out between descents.
Orienteering course
Discover the orienteering course at Champ du Feu, organised by the French Orienteering Federation and the Department, and enjoy a fun experience through the Vosges countryside.
Holding an orienteering race with family or friends, and looking for objects and natural sites, you will discover the flora and fauna of the mountains of Alsace. A good way to appreciate this rich, unspoilt countryside, while having fun!
Snowboard

Tobogganing

Cross Country Skiing
Champ du Feu is the ideal playground for cross-country ski-ing enthusiasts: over 90 kilometres of marked, free-access pistes make it a must for winter sports – one of the most important areas of France for this sport!
Two rental centres at Mont Champ du Feu will supply you with equipment so you can set off cross-country ski-ing, exploring the natural beauty of the snow-covered Vosges mountains.
Skiing
At Mont Champ du Feu alpine skiing is practised from an early age, when the first snow appears. 14 pistes spread over 3 areas are accessible via 9 lifts.
The resorts ESF (Ski School) offers courses at all levels, and you can conveniently rent your equipment at two centres at the foot of the slopes. Have days of skiing in our thoroughly safe and secure ski area!
