Commemorating the year of the Rosselli-Massa union in marriage, the extravagant Sixteen 34 Suite is a tour de force and in a class of its own. This one-of-a-kind suite elevates both business and leisure stays to new heights.

The classical old-world interior has been remastered through the use of modern solid and beautiful materials, contrasting palettes and soft and rich textures, to achieve an elegant dialogue between old and new.

Its bold aesthetics make the most of the house’s architectural motifs, making a strong statement of contrasting finishes against the imposing wooden and stone beams of the ceiling.

Added to the artistic design elements, Rosselli’s restoration worked top-end business travel essentials into the Sixteen 34 Suite. From modern workspaces with high-speed Wi-Fi, to bona fide Italian coffee making stations, everything is primed for the complete modern working environment.

3 Herons – Junior Suites
The Rosselli family crest depicts three herons. Proudly displayed on the palazzo’s façade, on top of the main door, they represent the qualities of calmness, grace and tranquillity. Inspired by the crest, the Three Herons Junior Suites make the most of the palazzo’s tall double height rooms on the Piano Nobile.

Accommodating the grandeur of duplex architecture, their rich design is inspired by the city vibe, reflected in the room’s colours, deco and amenities. The veritable kaleidoscope of rare and precious marbles render the floor whimsical, sumptuous and unusual.

Let your eye travel to the bevelled mirrors and see the colour-play they replicate, while the unusual light fittings join in the chorus to make the Three Herons rooms a palatial feast for the senses.

Enjoy the complete privacy of your very own lounge area, while the internal spiral staircase leads you to your sleeping quarters at mezzanine level without the need to leave your suite.

Don Pietro – Executive Rooms
As the rooms name after the master of the house himself, they could not but be a manifestation of his character. A gifted artist with a love for humanity, these rooms are imbued with Rosselli’s artistry whose attention to detail was second to none.

Each room has its private spa and a wellness indoor meditation terrace, a sauna and rain shower, dressed in a combination of Carrara marble, traditional stucco and warm walnut, giving the space an undeniably soothing and refreshing sensation.

Maruzzo – Comfort Rooms
Named after the heir to the family fortunes, Maruzzo comfort rooms offer the contemporary classical style which evokes the younger generation of this respected family. No detail is spared to reflect the energy and spirit reminiscent of the heir’s youth, coupled with the classic sophistication of nobility.

With youth being a time for experimentation and innovation, and with the Chiaroscuro sweeping the Dutch school and finding its way into the art patronised by the Knights of St John, these rooms make a strong statement of contrasting finishes.

The Maruzzo rooms are boldly aesthetic and make the most of the house’s architectural motifs. Our designers used rich textures to great effect to finish this elegant dialogue between old and new.

As humans, we have marvelous skills and tailoring is the one that inspired us. At street level, Grain Street offers a casual dining experience with dishes to share, and wines served by the glass. On the subterranean level, Under Grain transports you to a refined experience.

Within just 4 months of opening, it was awarded with a One MICHELIN Star, and due to high popularity, there is a waiting list to dine here. Immerse yourself in an environment of informal luxury. Our menu is concise but is assured to be of the highest quality and curation.

The Concept
Inspired by the tailors of old whose workshops were located on Merchants’ Street, a few paces away from Rosselli, our restaurant was given the name of Grain. Like a tailor, the chef is skilful with his hands, and his artistry in reflected in the finished product.

When cutting fabric, a tailor cuts along the grain to make sure the material does not fray – in the same way in which the chef works with grain to produce dishes that are unique and exquisite in taste and presentation.

Both crafts need skill and the best raw materials for a truly unique experience of the highest quality, where attention to detail is crucial. The interior design of the restaurant showcases details from the tailoring profession like sewing machines and old portraits of Maltese tailors.

From the design of the menu that features a sewing pattern, to the use of tailor’s calk to mark your chosen dishes, the bill that comes pinned to a pin cushion and the circular wall lights reminiscent of thread spools, no effort has been spared to elevate our patrons’ dinner into an immersive experience.

Casa Rosselli-Massa was formerly the palatial residence of the successful goldsmith Rosselli and has been lovingly converted to enable you to relax with the comforts of today in the regal ambience of a time when good taste reigned.

For your comfort and pleasure, this magnificent 17th-century baroque gem now weaves the traditional with the contemporary in a tapestry of colour, design and culture distilled from the finest which the cultures of the Mediterranean have to offer.

Wine tasting at Ta’ Betta Wine Estates
Malta’s climate and terroir produce some great wines that are worth tasting and savouring. However, the Rosselli Experience Team will introduce you to one of the very few boutique wineries on the Island that is not usually open to the public and where its bottled wine cannot be easily found on the shelves.

Four hectares of terraced vineyards in the southern region of Malta are home to 15,000 vines planted on site. The private estate also holds 200 olive trees, fig and carob trees and other indigenous Maltese flora.

Upon arrival, you will be transported into old world charm through a private guided tour of the winery. Wine lovers will enjoy hearing all about the vine growing process, the autumn harvest and the production of the final product until bottling.

The tour will be followed by a wine tasting. The wine is paired with cheeses and cold cuts, as well as warm bread and olive oil that is also produced on the estate.

Cooking Class with Maltese Chef and Writer, Pippa Mattei
Your driver will stop you in the village of Attard so that you can stroll through San Anton Gardens. Built by Grand Master Antoine de Paule, San Anton Palace is today the residence of the President of Malta.

Discover fountains, ponds with families of ducks as well as trees from all over the world, some of which are over three centuries old. Your walk will end at Pippa’s residence.

Pippa is a chef, food writer and teacher. For 35 years, her kitchen has been a place where she has shared many a meal with friends and with those passionate about food and learning about it. Pippa will accompany you to the local farmers’ market in Ta’ Qali.

Enjoy chatting with the farmers who will gladly explain how they grow their fruit and vegetables and recommend the perfect produce for your meal. Pippa and her husband John will help you prepare a typical Mediterranean lunch with the local produce sourced from the market and using seasonal ingredients.

Cooking with Pippa is a delight and her extensive experience and her passion for cuisine is infectious. Your efforts in the kitchen will pay off when you take your seat at Pippa’s table set in her lovely Mediterranean garden.
