La chartreuse du Val Saint Esprit is a listed Historical Monument which keep in elegance and fineness from the past. It is set with 53 unique and personalized rooms divided in different categories : Tradition, Privilege, Deluxe, Familiale, and a junior suite. Two rooms can welcome disabled people.

They are all equipped with flat-screen TV with French and International channels, phone, minibar, safe, double or twin beds and a free wireless internet access. Bathrooms are set with bath and/or shower (according room categories), welcome products, bathrobe and slippers (except in tradition rooms).

RESTAURANT LE VASCO
Le Vasco, modern cooking brasserie is welcoming you in a cosy and colonial atmosphere. The chief and his team suggest a modern cooking for a travel around the world. Having a lunch or a dinner in a large leather armchair or on the terrace will be a pleasure for you.

The Vasco’s team makes a modern cooking, with French, Mediterranean, Thaï or Japonese products. Every season, it’s a new gourmet getaway, a world-trip through meals bodly prepared.

“Crusty tuna with spices, rice and red curry sauce”, “cannelloni of smoked salmon stuffed with crab and cheese” or “Iberian marinated pluma, roasted potatoes and red onions, purée chorizo”… Were this meals mouth-watering? There’s still others to discover.

La Distillerie, French cooking brasserie, is welcoming you in traditional and picturesque atmosphere … Scottish curtain, vaulted ceiling, chairs and benches of bright wood… the chief and his team suggest a cooking from the traditional French cooking.

FRENCH COOKING
Family cooking from The Distillerie invite you to discover the most famous meals of the French gastronomy. All dishes are prepared with fresh products, fruits and vegetables from our garden, according to each season. “Pot-au-feu”, “Veal kidney in the Beaugé way”, “Dover sole meunière”, “home made duke live terrine” or “Snails from Radinghem with garlic and parsel butter” everything I there.

EVENTS
The resort has a conference/ business center called “Les Salons de La Chartreuse”, perfect place for your seminars, study days, banquets, private events. It has meeting rooms and banquet rooms able to welcome up to 600 persons in meals and 900 persons in cocktails. It has a amphitheater of 300 seats. All our team is at your disposal to help you in the organization of all your events.

LEWARDE MINE MUSEUM
Take your helmet to reach the “bottom” galleries and thus relive the three centuries of coal mining, browsing the sites where the machines are in operation. Back on the surface, the seven major exhibitions dedicated to the history, geology, energies and daily life of the miners await you.

You will also discover the reconstructions of the administrative offices and the emblematic places of the Delloye pit, such as the room of the “hanged” or the lamp room. 45 minutes away
