Pools
The hotel has five pools, including an elegant 25-metre swimming pool, flanked by a larger pool. The black stone adds a unique touch to the pool area. A swimming pool for children is also on the site.
Surrounded by the Pool Bar, it towers above the Bay of Calvi. There is one pool at the Nouvelle Demeure, with a unique view over the citadel. Another pool is located in front of the villas. Our Spa has its own indoor pool which is pleasantly heated. Finally, all Private Villas have a private pool each.
The Beach: La Villa Plage
For the 2021 season and for the first time, we have the great pleasure to welcome you in our new beach establishment, located only 5 minutes from the hotel.
You will be able to have lunch and dinner right on the water and enjoy the beach of Calvi all day long on our private mattresses. The programme includes Mediterranean cuisine, musical evenings and sunset aperitifs.
Calvi
Harbor, cafes and restaurants mingling boaters and local fishermen amazing site. Key location for walking, citadel, Genoese construction of the twelfth century, stands proudly on a rocky promontory. Majestic and menacing, it seems invulnerable to time passing. It is both landmark, symbol, history.
Within its fortifications, houses huddled against each other border of the small, dark, narrow and steep streets in sometimes complicated path leading to Palace of the Governors Genoese or to Saint Jean-Baptiste Cathedral.
While the walls, several modified by adding bastions time, hug the rocky terrain of this growth… Previously, the only entrance was guarded by a drawbridge, is accessed by the place Christopher Columbus, who, according to tradition, was born in one of the houses of the citadel.
Without forgetting the terrace of CHEZ TAO, the view over the bay where Nelson lost his eye.
The Balagne
Balagne consists of a coastal region, located between Calvi and Ile Rousse, and a hinterland hills overlooking the sea Nicknamed “The Garden of Corsica”, Balagne full of olive groves, fig trees , orchards, palm trees, immortal.
It is dotted with beautiful perched villages with narrow streets and typical houses as Sant’Antonino, Speloncato, Pigna, Lumio, Belgodère … and stunning baroque churches like Corbara or Romanesque like Aregno.
You can also take the road of artisans Balagne which is an invitation to discover the local traditions and know-how. Wine, charcuterie, cheese, Olive oil, cutlery, working olive wood.

Sail at low speed off the citadel of Calvi with a historical commentary by your guide before joining the wild peninsula of Revellata.
