The Vieux Logis, located in the heart of the village, was originally an agricultural property after having been a priory in the 16th / 17th century. The region produced multiple crops but mainly tobacco. Fields and farm buildings still surround the main house

The Chef
For 20 years, the Chef Vincent Arnould, Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2007, has been revisiting with creativity and refinement the Périgord’s regional products.
Duck, walnut oil, porcini mushrooms, truffles, foie gras… close to producers of the region, he takes particular care by choosing high quality products according to the seasons.
Traditional Cuisine
Among our specialties, you can discover warmed lobster salad, tomato and piccalilli, pigeon breast roasted in giblet juice accompanied by pasta with chestnut flour, or even black Périgord truffle.

As the perfect mix between charm and tradition, the Vieux Logis has been welcoming its guests since 1952, in a family atmosphere.
Our 25 rooms and Suites are divided between the Main House and our two « Logis des Champs ». Spacious, calm and comfortable, each room is unique. 22 of our 25 rooms can be prepared as a twin, to accommodate 2 people.
Moulin de la Veyssière
Founded around 1560 by Hélie de FRATEAU, a local lord, le Moulin de la Veyssière has kept its authenticity through the years. This is the last water powered mill of the Vern Valley which specializes in the artisanal manufacturing of walnut and hazelnut oil.
Belonging to the ELIAS family since 1857, our mill was used successively for the making of flour, bread and walnut and hazelnut oil. The mill opens its doors to you all year long and without appointment. We offer a one hour-guided tour that will make you discover the beauty of old stone and our local gastronomy.
Le Caviar de Neuvic
