Located in Zermatt, Petit Chalet Schönegg is next to a golf course and in the mountains. The area’s natural beauty can be seen at Matterhorn glacier paradise and Unterrothorn, while Matterhorn Museum and Guia Gold Mine are cultural highlights. You can choose from our stylish rooms furnished with top-quality materials in the main building, or our alpine-style rooms which add a chic, alpine aesthetic with their mature wood cladding. They are the foundation of your relaxing holiday.

MASTER SUITE
Well-being reaches new heights here! Our Master Suite, furnished with natural materials, covers two floors and offers all you could want to set holiday hearts racing.

The jacuzzi promises pure relaxation after a wonderful day in Zermatt’s fresh mountain air, and the open fireplace on the lower level offers romantic moments. The bathroom (refurbished in 2015) and the solid oak floor complete the atmosphere.

The Master Suite is equipped with two balconies, two bathrooms (one with toilet and jacuzzi and the other with toilet and shower), radio/TV, minibar, coffee machine, kettle, safe, free WiFi and bathrobes and slippers. The room is 52 m2 and the bed size is 1.80 m x 2.00 m.

JUNIOR SUITE
The Junior Suite offers 40m2 of Alpine luxury and moments of pure well-being. The artistic style of the interior is inspired throughout by regional heritage, but the result remains modern and exudes a chic aesthetic with its stylish mature oak cladding.

The Junior Suites have a balcony or terrace with village views, and some offer views of the Matterhorn. The open fireplace lined with stone slabs invites you to sit back and relax after an active day’s skiing or hiking. The bathroom with jacuzzi, separate shower and a window into the room creates a pleasant atmosphere.

STYLE QUADRUPLE ROOM
The ‘Style Matterhorn’ family room is perfect for families, offering Alpine luxury and a pure well-being experience. The artistic style of the interior is inspired throughout by regional heritage, but the result remains modern and exudes a chic Alpine aesthetic with its mature oak cladding.

The beautiful bathrooms with glass windows into the room also catch the eye. Enjoy the convenience of two individual, interconnected double rooms, as always with the Matterhorn standing at the heart.

RESTAURANT SAVEURS
We tempt you with a daily four-course fine dining menu, as well as wine and dine evenings. Experience fine wines from the region or the Bordeaux region and be inspired by the views of the village and the Matterhorn.

UNCORKED
Our range of more than 80 wines from Valais plus top wines from the Bordeaux region leave nothing to be desired. Dine with your friends on freshly prepared dishes and finger food delights.

A treat for the eyes, the nose and the palate: the restaurant exudes a pleasant atmosphere with its wine-based ceiling paintings and unique bottle lamps. Once again the Matterhorn is your constant companion, showing off its varied character – just like wine itself.

THE BAR
Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to midnight for hotel guests and visitors, the bar is the perfect starting point for drinks, après-ski entertainment or a nightcap.

The establishment is imbued through and through with regional heritage, and elaborate woodwork and high-quality leather paired with atmospheric lighting make the room harmonious and snug. The bar offers you the opportunity to get to know other guests over a glass of wine.

BIKING
Zermatt is a mountain biking paradise at the foot of the Matterhorn, with 100km of signposted mountain bike trails awaiting enthusiastic cyclists. At between 1,400 and 3,100 metres above sea level, the mountains around Zermatt offer a wide range of trails, whether flowing downhill or steep and technical.

Paired with the unique mountain backdrop, they ensure an unforgettable mountain biking experience. Bike transport to Sunnegga, Gornergrat and Schwarzsee lake offers quick access to the trails and ensures that you get to see the unique mountain setting from different angles!

HIKING
