In a picturesque setting, our hotel is at the foot of mountain tops and alpine meadows which beckon our guests to exciting summer hiking tours in South Tyrol. The resort is not only known for its particularly quiet location and stunning scenery, but also for its cozy atmosphere which makes our guests feel at home.

DINING
We are happy to spoil you in the evening with a culinary South Tyrolean treat. Our restaurant is limited to our house guests to offer you the best possible quality.

A healthy, rich breakfast from 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. with delicious organic bread and pastries from the local baker as well as many cold and warm, homemade delicacies from our local farmers for a good start to your holiday day. On request and with advance booking, we are happy to serve your breakfast on the hotel terrace or in your room.

The 5-course evening menu with a fine selection of delicacies made from local products and prepared with love. Spend cosy hours in our bar, which is open all day and has a wonderful sun terrace, with a select drop from the wine cellar, cool drinks or fine brandies to round off the day.

THE ALPINE SPA
The most pleasant wellness form is the one through which someone is pampered as well. Our wellness center invites you to dedicate time just to yourself.

HIKING
Take par into many hiking trips in the Tessa Group Natural Park (Italian: Parco Naturale del Gruppo del Tessa, German: Naturpark Texelgruppe) till the Sopranes lakes (Italian: Laghi di Sopranes, German: Spronser Seen), till the Imst- Kreuzjoch sheperds’ hut and the thistles groups of Monte Tavolino (German: Sefiarspitze), till the highest mountain refuges (Zwickauer Refuge, Stettino refuge) located at 2500 meters of altitude.

You can enjoy a robust snack accompanied by a glass of South Tyrolean red wine, with a wonderful sight on the mountains and our valley.

HORSE-BACK RIDING
You can ride the Avelengo horses directly in their homeland; this horse race was born here. In the past, they were essential for the peasant works. Now these quiet and docile horses are used to ride and to pull sledges and coaches.

In the nearby Steinherhof riding school you can find many interesting offers to spend unforgettable days by horse: beginners can practice their horse- riding with a teacher on the mountain pasture.

The already accomplished riders can choose among horse-riding trekking tours lasting half a day or the whole day in the wonderful inner Val Passiria landscapes. Unforgettable moments await you!

MOUNTAINBIKE & E-BIKE
Discover the sunny paths in the surroundings, the Val Passiria shepherd’s huts. Everyone will find the most suitable mountain bike path and the right challenges. Clean air, the joy of healthy physical activity and relax are the elements you are looking for.

The scented meadows, the quiet shepherds’ huts and the fairy- tale panoramas are right out of the hotel. You can rent your E-Bike direct in the Hotel!

Also the city of Merano and its surroundings are a good idea for a mountainbike itinerary. According to your training degree, you can plan a mountain- bike trip across the Merano region.

A WINTER HOLIDAY IN SOUTH TYROL
Our Hotel Pfeldererhof is situated within the immediate vicinity of the Pfelders ski resort that is true to the saying: “small but perfectly formed”.Although Pfelders is the smallest ski resort in South Tyrol, it offers an extensive range of skiing for all abilities – from trouble-free skiing for beginners and families to exciting slopes for advanced skiers.

Numerous winter walking trails and a cross country ski run are just a stone’s throw away and are perfect for cross country skiing and snowshoeing in South Tyrol.

What’s more, Val Passiria’s mountain landscape has everything you could want from a ski tour in South Tyrol: a whole lot of snow, beautiful weather and a breathtaking view of snow-covered mountains. You slip into your bindings in front of the hotel and off you go – ready for a day of fun reaching heights of up to 2,500 meters.

SKIING
The “Grünboden Express” is the first combined chair- and ski-lift in Europe, with 8 places cabins and 6 places chair-lift, all heated up. A 4 places covered chair-lift and with a heated seat brings all ski fans at a 2502 meters of altitude on the Karjoch.

The snow- assured ski runs also thanks to artificial disposals, are suitable for beginners as well. The old sledge run can also be used as a ski run towards the valley, till the “Gampen” or “Zepplichl” chair- and ski lifts.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
From Plan till the Lanziner Shepherds’ Hut you can find a perfectly-marked ski run. You can also count on other 11km of medium- level ski runs. The location on the Alps Southern Side and the fact that snow in Val Passiria is always assured are already two very good conditions. The Innerhütt cross country ski center is located a few minutes away by car.

SKI TOURS
Despite these facts, this ski zone is never crowded, but famous for its good snow conditions. According to you ambition, you can reach nearly 3000 meters; it was worth it, looking the impressive peaks and mountains from above! We’ll put you in contact with expert Alpine guides, to let your holidays in the mountains be unforgettable.

ICE CLIMBING
For those who like pure adventure, you are in the right place in Val Passiria. In Stulles, at the end of the valley, and in Innerhütt, the frozen waterfalls are waiting for all climbing freaks.

In Rabenstein/Corvara Passeier there is one of the biggest artificial iceclimbing-structures in Europe. The tower offers routes in the various difficulties; 18 sportsmen can climb on it contemporary.

The structure consists of a 25m high ice-tower, a 14 m high ice-cylinder with a diameter up to 5m and a 2m broad and a 15m high side. These elements are completed with horizontal climbing-passages, several overhangs and difficult crossways.

The structure is suitable as well for experts as for beginners. There can be made first experiences in icy steep slopes, or the already known techniques can be improved.

MERANO
If you like to stroll through the town, to taste an ice on the Promenades or to sip a drink in a trendy cafe, Merano is undoubtedly the right place for you! Here you can treat yourselves to the famous charm of this town, where the Italian “Dolce Vita” and the authentic Tyrolean hospitality perfectly combine.

MERANO THERMAL BATHS
Meran’s thermal baths are more than a further addition to the feel-good facilities at this well known health resort; they are an architectural highlight, too.

The exciting glass and steel cube is the heart of the new spa complex on the south bank of the River Passer. The plaza created between the thermal baths and the hotel is the ideal place to sit and relax in the open-air café and an attractive meeting point for the resort as a whole.

CASTEL TRAUTTMANDSDORFF
In the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, plants from all over the world are gathered together and typical landscapes of South Tyrol are presented. Paths meander uphill through water and terraced gardens, leading to the Sensual Garden or the Japanese Garden, to the cacti and succulents mound or to cultivated plants of the south, like the olive tree and the grapevine

TIMMELSJOCH 
A road, once a mule track, links the Passeiertal valley and the Ötztal valley. Over thousands of years, unique similarities between the two valleys evolved, triumphing over the natural boundary created by the mountains.

MUSEUM PASSEIER
The Museum is at the Sandhof Inn in the Passeier valley, the birthplace of Andreas Hofer. It tells, in a lively and entertaining way, how a bearded innkeeper and cattle-dealer became a Tyrolean folk hero.

BUNKER MOOSEUM
The “Bunker Mooseum” is a new museum facility in the village of Moos in the Upper Passeier, which also serves as an information point for the Texel Group Nature Park. The museum presents fascinating exhibits in a unique and entertaining form for all the family, encouraging visitors to further explore the region.
