A natural setting with a lot to tell
The Finca where the rural hotel is situated in Vénda de Safragell where it gets its name from. The Encyclopaedia of Ibiza and Formentera includes Safragell as one of the place names which appears continuously since the time of the Catalan conquest, since it was one of the large estates assigned the ‘quartó’ or development called Xarc, in 1235.
The land where Safragell Ibiza is found is home to one of the most important hydrographic axes of the area, hence the numerous heritage elements such as the ditches, wells and springs.
These elements, which have been preserved during the refurbishment of the building, show the wealth of the groundwater present throughout the estate. A natural setting which will delight you from the moment you arrive.
