Anyone who finds skiing or snowboarding on normal slopes is too boring is in good hands at the Snow Show Park. Numerous jumps, ramps, wave runs and other challenges await freestyle skiers there. Even fans of climbing sports are not too badly off.

SKIING SCHOOL
Ischgl is home to one of Austria’s most traditional ski schools. More than 100 state-certified ski guides are to help guests learning to ski or snowboard. They also ensure that there is no shortage of fun on the slopes with the required humor and Tyrolean charm.
Beginners can carve their first turns into the snow with the help of highly trained ski instructors. Advanced skiers on the other hand can learn new techniques and perfect their skills in individual lessons during their skiing holiday in Ischgl.
One special feature are the “no-handicap lessons” where guests with physical disabilities are introduced to the skiing with intensive individual support.
OFF-PISTE SKIING FUN
Fans of untouched slopes and shushing fun away from the groomed slopes have a number of options for deep snow tours in Ischgl. The Silvretta Arena itself provides 20 kilometers of freeride slopes. Specially trained guides advise ski tourers about the dangers and safety measures.
Extreme mountain slopes are just awaiting to be conquered in Ischgl along with the natural moguls. In order to ensure keep the fun going only advanced skiers should try this because freeriding is probably the most challenging and exhausting form of skiing.

BIKING IN ISCHGL
Biking in an extraordinary surrounding – that’s what the trails in Ischgl stand for. Either high in the mountains or also back down in the valley, with E-Bike or the normal Mountain bike – there are trails for every bikers level.
Biking is the perfect activity if you want to see many places and secret spots in a short lap of time. Our own Mountain bike shop is directly in the Hotel and is stocked with bikes, E-Bikes and all the bike equipment.

The idyllic position of our Schlosshotel Ischgl in the middle of beautiful mountains invites to hike and bike and get in touch with this unspoiled countryside. Not only mountain summits offer a beautiful view but also the traditional and lovely mountain huts.
They offer a variety of local culinary delights, Tyrolean hospitality and rustic interiors. Anyways it’s worth a visit to enjoy the views. Additionally there are also events in summer like the “Kulinarischer Jakobsweg” under the slogan “easy hike and big enjoyment”.
LAKES & SWIMMING POOLS
You need refreshment after or during an exhausting hike or bike? Jump into the fresh water of one of many mountain lakes or dive into a swimming pool at the end of the day. In Ischgl you can take a swim and combine this with stunning views to the mountains.
Crystal clear water meets impressive panoramas and creates a unique flair – pure enjoyment! Relax or have a picnic at the lakes nearby, such as “Schwarzsee”, “Pardatschersee”, “Madleinsee”, “Berglisee” or the small lake besides the picturesque “Friedrichshafener Hut” on over 2.000 Meter – each of those is unique & every dive is an adventure.
CLIMBING & BOULDERING
Ever dreamed of climbing a summit and feel the rocks? There are many “Via Ferratas”, also for beginners, which offer the perfect climbing feeling and lead you to the summit. One of the most known are the Greitspitz Summit and the Flimspitz Summit which can be reached through a Via Ferrata.
For advanced rock climbers there are also many routes – to fully enjoy those, ask and have an experienced and local alpine guide with you. Whoever prefers indoor climbing or bouldering; there are many options in Paznaun valley.
A real paradise for bouldering safely outside you can find in the “Silvapark Galtür” on 2.000 Meters – there are over 175 Boulder routes for all levels and it is the first boulder paradise for children in Austria.
