The gastronomy
Our traditional house opened a new chapter in March 2016: The restoration area was completely renovated and a new Rütlisaal was built. New ideas, cozy elegance, the walls tell a story; each room is dedicated to a different topic.

We do it on dark parquet, along pearly beige shimmering walls. Warm colors and copper tones are everywhere where the guest wants to dine and drink in style, a theme that spreads comfort from the first minute.

Our Rôtisserie has also been given a new look of elegant chic and a certain extravagance. Acoustic niches, unobtrusive elegance and a touch of vintage are the theme. Here we spoil you with culinary delights. And that first class!

Our Fronalp Lounge is a combination of bistro and lounge bar. From 8 a.m. until 2 a.m. you can enjoy high-quality meals here, with a snack in between or a fine glass of wine.

The view of Lake Lucerne reveals a unique panorama of mountains, sky, sun and space. The Bartli Bar , a smoker’s bar , is decorated in a vintage style. Chic sofas, trendy furniture: cosiness is all the rage here.

The team of waiters around Stefan and Karoly watch the guests in the Rôtisserie attentively, always trying to read your every wish from your eyes. They pass the tables of their guests quietly and unobtrusively and take care of the culinary well-being of the visitors.

Acoustic niches, warm colors and a touch of vintage determine the atmosphere in the newly renovated Rôtisserie restaurant right on the lake.

The new concept of bistro and lounge ensures a relaxed, friendly atmosphere from 8 a.m. in the morning to 2 a.m. in which time does not play a major role. Here you meet, young and old, business travelers and private individuals, here you are and are allowed to be.

Bartli Bar
Stories and legends: this is where they come to life. The name Bartli points to the 17th century and certainly has nothing to do with “Bart”, but refers to the apostle St. Bartholomäus, who as the patron saint of the parish churches had the place of honor on the right side altar.

During the construction of the new Brunner parish church in 1659, he was ousted, whereupon the Brunner erected a profane portrait of the popular Bartli at the Sust and honored him at the carnival. A tradition that lives on to this day in the honorary office of Bartlivater.

The newly renovated Bartli Bar should be a place of celebration and wellbeing. Not just at Carnival, just every day.

Fluffy sofas, wall paper with special shapes and colors, warm tones, copper-colored curtains, through which the silhouette of the lake emerges, make this bar something special. A place where a fine cigar can be enjoyed with a good drink.

Lake. And be seen.
Our lakeside terrace is unique in Central Switzerland. The view sweeps across Lake Lucerne and the Uri Alps. It is downright original here: right across the street, just a stone’s throw away, Switzerland has sealed its creation with a solemn oath on the Rütli.

The SPA area and the whirlpool are currently open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Our seaside pool is also available to you. However, the number of spaces in the wellness area is limited and can only be used after prior reservation.

If you add our covered outdoor whirlpool and the fantastic location of our hotel directly on Lake Lucerne to water, wellness and well-being, the result is the perfect combination to give body, mind and soul new strength.

There you will find our sauna and relaxation area, which offers everything for perfect relaxation: Finnish sauna (85˚C), sanarium (62˚C), steam bath (42˚C) and an infrared cabin with 35 to 40˚C, plus one Ice fountain, our fantastic covered outdoor whirlpool with a view of the lake and showers.

In the quiet landscape, the “Sway” pendulum lounger cradles you into a restful short nap with a gentle pendulum movement. From the SPA counter with refreshing drinks and snacks you have access to the roof terrace and loggia.
