The three- and four-bedroom Residences are our best-kept secrets, with inspired design, ultra-sleek finishes, and vistas across the Indian Ocean.

Ocean Sounds
Modernistic four-bedroom residence with panoramic ocean views showcases a private art collection. Master bedroom on upper level and other bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, living room and vast pool terrace below plus a gourmet kitchen and wine cellar.

Set on one of the highest points of Félicité, this modernistic four-bedroom residence at Six Senses Seychelles holiday resort offers a virtually 360-degree panorama of the ocean and surrounding islands.

There’s not a dull corner to be found in this privately-owned residence, which showcases contemporary and classic art pieces, hand-selected by the passionate art-loving owner.

From an explosion of color that is a Mahjong sofa, black and white classic images by Helmut Newton to vibrant console tables from Laurent De Commines and Piero Fornasetti plates, the principal living area on the lower level is an art gallery in itself.

Natural light is in abundance from the extensive floor-to-ceiling windows, enhancing the contemporary interior styling. A translucent plunge pool features in the upper level master bedroom, which also offers stunning island and ocean views. In fact, all four bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms and continue the gallery feel with eclectic art pieces which add to their spirited design style.

There’s a gourmet kitchen, a wine cellar and a private bar plus an expansive pool terrace with dining and sitting areas making it the perfect alfresco spot for relaxing with family and friends sharing this stunning residence

Running the gambit of relaxed sophistication and memorable experiences
Seychellois cuisine reflects the cultures that have come to these shores over the past centuries. African, Chinese, French, English, and Indian culinary staples and the Seychelle’s Creole.

Drawing from this diversity, Six Senses Seychelles restaurants offer traditional favorites along with a little interpretation of island cuisine by our adventurous chefs.

Island Cafe
Inspired by flavors from the spice route, this is a melting pot of European, Asian and African fare. Fruit, pastries and made-to-order eggs for breakfast give way to drinks and snacks served throughout the day in an open lounge. Views of the ocean or Chef’s Kitchen.

Sustainability
On this intimate jewel of Seychelles it’s your choice whether you want to step in tune with nature or take a dip with the turtles! The island is an ecological marvel, so we do everything we can to sustain its integrity.

Our social and environmental projects are not obligations, they are our motivations and why we bounce out of bed every day.

For us, sustainability starts with growing our own food. In 2019, we produced nearly 39,000 kilos of organic herbs, fruits and veggies to feed our guests and hosts.

A new area has been developed next to the garden where you can learn more about our approach to permaculture and compost and much more.

  • 1,800 coral fragments harvested and grown in our nursery, with 600 fragments transplanted so far
  • 1,300 people reached through our 2019 educational activities
  • 7,000 indigenous species planted to date as part of our island restoration project

Environmental Responsibility
Environmental standards are not to be accepted but exceeded, thereby creating a new benchmark to drastically reduce our footprint on these sands.

Forest restoration
We have plants, shrubs and trees indigenous or endemic to Seychelles, setting Six Senses Zil Pasyon apart from the “artificial” landscapes of other resorts. Our landscaping team has worked for a decade to eradicate invasive Coco-plum and reintroduce authentic species of trees and plants.

The habitats will be rich and productive and a happy result will be the return of endemic birds including the Seychelles Magpie Robin, Seychelles Paradise Flycatcher, Seychelles Whiteye, Seychelles Warbler and Seychelles Fody.

As coastal habitats are also much improved, we hope to see seabirds returning in numbers to nest.

Coral
We collaborate with local NGOs including Ramos Marine and Island Reserve, in projects that aim to restore a seafloor area of at least 6,500 square feet (600 square meters).

We harvested, grew and planted back to the reef up to today 1,339 fragments of resilient corals that will more likely survive future bleaching events. We are developing new nurseries and structures that will help us to grow coral more efficiently and restore Félicité’s Marine Protected Area.

While you’re with us, we encourage you to swim in the coral garden and see the plantation for yourself.

Sea turtles
The Turtle Conservation Project includes the monitoring, tagging and photo identification of sea turtles. The project started in September 2017 with Turtle Action Group Seychelles (TAGS) led by Dr. Jeanne A.

Mortimer and the Seychelles National Park Authority (SNPA). The island has always been a nesting site for green and hawksbill turtles. Nesting season starts from October and runs to April.

We monitoring nesting turtles and the hatchlings to ensure that no disturbance is created (these big miracles start out tiny), and at the same time creating an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Social Responsibility
We employ locally and offer educational programs and activities to local schools

Youth engagement
We believe that as members of our local community we must work closely with all stakeholders to ensure continued growth and sustainable development. Our aim is to achieve immediate public benefit while ensuring a legacy can be built for generations to come.

We collaborate with local schools to raise awareness of conservation and environmental protection, and promote activism among young students, to inspire a future where they may continue to work actively among their community.

They are there to make sure that the little hatchlings have a safe first journey to the ocean.

UNESCO Vallée de Mai, Praslin
UNESCO World Heritage site Vallée de Mai is one of only two places in the world where the rare Coco de Mer palm grows in its natural state. It’s also a birdlife hotspot – watch for the endemic Seychelles bulbul, the lovely blue pigeon, the Seychelles warbler and the endangered black parrot, of which there are between 500 and 900 left in the wild.

DESTINATION

If waking up to perpetual summer sounds like bliss, then Félicité Island’s location outside the cyclone belt is for you. Even when it rains, usually limited to late afternoon from December through February, the sun doesn’t stay hidden for long.
