Our boutique hotel encompasses 11 acres that overlook Penobscot Bay with 32 spacious, contemporarily designed rooms, most with ocean views.

All accommodations at the Inn are located in one of three buildings: the Main Inn, the Hilltop, or the Poolhouse. You can learn more about each of these buildings and the accommodations within below, please review the map below and determine your perfect room.
Hilltop
Hilltop is at the highest point of the property and about 150 yards from the Main Inn, Infinity pool and lounge. The Hilltop building is perfect for those seeking a more private, tranquil space to enjoy our Maine oceanfront retreat.
The Hilltop offers spacious king rooms with private balconies, each with spectacular panoramic views of Penobscot Bay, and a contemporary coastal design.
Wireless internet is available throughout the building, there is a coffee station and ice located on the first floor and guest parking. Please note that there is no elevator.
Main Inn
The Main Inn is the hub of our lovely 22-acre property. When guests check in at the front desk, they are immediatly drawn to the incredible views of the ocean and Infinity pool from our breakfast room and deck.
Also located in the Main Inn is our pub, library and gym. This gracious building offers three floors of luxurious accommodations, wireless internet, and several comfortable common seating areas and a balcony with patio furniture overlooking the ocean. It is a short walk to the pool and lounge.
The Poolhouse
Overlooking the Infinity pool, hot tub, and Penobscot Bay, accommodations in our Poolhouse are our finest guestrooms available. Each accommodation has a king bed, private entrance, and dedicated parking.
Beautifully decorated in the Maine cottage style, the Poolhouse is perfect for that special occassion, honeymoon, or romantic getaway.

Breakfast
Our guests rave about the beautiful and delicious gourmet breakfast served daily in our dining room overlooking spectacular Penobscot Bay… you’ll enjoy a bounty of breads and homemade pastries along with fresh fruits, cheeses, juices and local smoked salmon.
You can also order eggs “any style”, pancakes with local maple syrup and the daily chef special all served with our homemade hash browns and sides.
Infinity Edge Pool & Jacuzzi
After a long day exploring the surrounding sights, consider our Infinity Edge pool your gateway to rest & relaxation.
Heated starting Memorial Day through mid-September (may be heated later, depending on weather), custom built to tease the eye with a vanishing edge that disappears into Penobscot Bay, many guests find the pool, Jacuzzi, and poolhouse area to be their favorite part of the Inn.
Relax poolside with a glass of wine or warm up in our wood-burning sauna or outdoor Jacuzzi. Don’t worry about bringing towels from your room, there are always fresh towels available.
Utilize the facilities in the Poolhouse including changing rooms and bathrooms, wood-burning sauna, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces to warm up after a dip.
Massage & Spa Services
The Poolhouse Spa at The Inn at Ocean’s Edge is a limited-service spa featuring two massage rooms, a cedar sauna, shower, hot tub, and, of course, our heated outdoor infinity edge pool. Wind down at the end of your day with a relaxing trip to our sauna.
