The store introduces a new concept for the brand based on destination luxury retail, and offers guests the ability to shop from the elegant and timeless vision of Oscar de la Renta that also defines the unique Dominican experience of staying at Tortuga Bay.
The product assortment in the store emphasizes more casual apparel, resort wear, accessories, home décor & beauty, including a new sunscreen developed specifically for the boutique, although it will be sold in all Oscar de la Renta stores as well as on Oscardelarenta.com.
The boutique’s design is based on that of a seed house from George Washington’s home at Mt. Vernon, and is constructed of the same beautiful pale coral rock used in the construction of Tortuga Bay.
Visit the store to shop from a beautiful selection of merchandise personally selected by Mr. de la Renta, including beautiful swimwear, caftans and pareos for women, or classic guayaberas for men.

Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park and Reserve
The Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park and Reserve is a 1,500-acre private reserve owned and maintained by the Ecological Foundation. The Park and Reserve are set aside for scientific research, conservation of native and endangered species, and recreational activities of our guests.
The Ecological Reserve is comprised of a network of trails that lead to 12 freshwater lagoons and provides habitat for an abundance of birds, reptiles, insects, and other local flora and fauna.
The Ecological Park is an interpretive trail that features distinct attractions related to the natural and cultural history of the island, including an iguana habitat, petting zoo, sugarcane exhibition and a fruit tree garden.
Puntacana Equestrian Center
The Puntacana Equestrian Center offers private riding lessons for local enthusiasts with their own horses. We also a space for lodging horses. We has 10 corrals in a roofed barn, 15 outdoor corrals and 2 training fields. We also have over 3,000 square meters of beautiful, shaded garden areas.

When we began Puntacana Resort & Club over 45 years ago, the concept of “sustainable development” didn’t yet exist. We made all of our important decisions based on a deep respect for the Dominican Republic, its people, and its incredible natural resources.
Yet, our innovations in building our airport, golf courses, and our resort community reflect our deep commitment to protecting the natural environment and local communities.
Many of our early development practices now recognized as “sustainable tourism,” having earned us numerous international, sustainable tourism awards.
Fundación Grupo Puntacana
The not-for-profit Fundación Grupo Puntacana was created in 1994 to develop solutions to tourisms’ most complex environmental and social challenges. The Foundation has developed a range of innovative projects that serve as living, breathing examples of sustainable tourism.
The Foundation has an array of community and environment projects. We designed and implemented one of the largest integrated solid waste management and recycling projects in the Dominican Republic.
We lead the Partnership for Ecologically Sustainable Coastal Areas (PESCA), an expansive coral reef restoration and conservation program. We support programs in the conservation of endangered species like the Ridgeway’s Hawks.
We have developed sustainable agriculture initiatives, producing fresh, organic produce for local consumption and high quality soils for landscaping.
Through our unique research facility, the Center for Sustainability, the Foundation engages some of the best universities in the world in research and education programs that seek to provide solutions to social and environmental challenges
The Foundation has also been a leader in the development of communities throughout the Punta Cana region.
The Foundation has a co-management agreement for the Rural Clinic of Veron, providing primary care of thousands of patients a year, as well as medical missions that support preventative medicine programs.
We oversee the Ted and Ann Kheel Polytechnic School, graduating hundreds of students in basic and technical skills that support the tourism industry. Most recently, we built the Oscar de la Rent Pediatric Center, which provides primary care of the children of the region.
