Twelve rooms and one villa are interspersed over 1.5 hectares, offering you incredible privacy. Each of these “open-to-nature” thatched units evokes a sense of calm with ocean or garden views and crisp white finishes that are juxtaposed with natural wooden elements.

Villa
The exclusive Villa is a privately staffed unit which offers complete privacy, breathtaking ocean views, and ample space, measuring 135 m². It is perfect for honeymooners or families, sleeping a maximum of four adults and two children, and sets the scene for a simply unforgettable stay.

Junior Suites
The two Junior Suites are situated on the water’s edge and are more exclusive than the Superior Bungalows, although they share similar configurations. These suites each sleep a maximum of two guests.

Deluxe Garden View Rooms
The four Deluxe Garden View Rooms have been designed in a variety of configurations, but all offer beautiful views of the Chuini gardens. Each one measures 35 m² and sleeps a maximum of two guests.

Dining
Chuini Zanzibar Lodge offers both half-board and full-board arrangements and while guests’ privacy is of highest priority, a full catering service is brought right to the doorsteps of guest rooms.

Sea Breeze Restaurant

We welcome guests with our “Karibu Sana” approach and homely Zanzibarian hospitality to our beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean. Signature dishes include fresh seafood, such as Indian Ocean lobster served with Zanzibar Safran Sauce, local fresh spinach, fried cassava from Stone Town and tropical salads. Sunset Restaurant and Jetty Bar

Scuba Diving

Snorkeling
Travellers from all over the world come for snorkelling in Zanzibar, as well as many of the destination’s other major highlights. The archipelago provides some of the finest spots in the world for this exciting activity.

Get ready to discover a wealth of colourful coral reefs and spot thousands of different marine species. Guests are able to do so via Chuini’s snorkelling excursions, which include a trip out to sea. Conditions and visibility in these areas are top-notch almost year-round, making Zanzibar a haven for snorkelling.

Mnemba Atoll is a well-known conservation area in Zanzibar and at the top of most people’s ‘must-snorkel’ list. Average visibility is good year-round and ranges between 10 and 30 metres. Snorkelling along the coast of Mnemba Island will get you up close to beautiful coral reefs, assorted fish species and other marine-life like dolphins, green turtles, and sea stars.

Tumbatu Island offers a prime snorkelling spot away from the crowds. Since Tumbatu is less frequented by human visitors, the marine-life here is curious. The likes of batfish, rare whip, ribbon eels and leaf fish can also be spotted in these waters.

Big Game Fishing
Some of the best big game and deep-sea fishing happens in Zanzibar, almost all year round. On request, we will gladly arrange for you to be taken out on a deep-sea fishing charter for an incredible, action-filled experience.

The channel between Zanzibar and Pemba is a world-famous site, consistently providing incredible big-game fishing opportunities. With large schools of Barracuda, Wahoo, Kingfish and Giant Travelli in the area all year round and seasonal visits from many other species, such as Marlin, big-game fishing in Zanzibar offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
