Our drinks at the bar are not served with plastic and disposable materials such as straws or coasters. Many of our juices, wines, beers, liqueurs and distillates come from the region.

FEEL-GOOD HOLIDAY
The soap dispensers throughout the resort and in the rooms contain personalised, organic care products from the ecologically producing company Pure Green, which are enriched with pine wood and lemon balm aromas and on that way reflect our mountain landscape.

Moreover, we carry out our laundry with sustainable and biodegradable products of the company Unyrain. The swimming pools are disinfected using salt tablets on a chlorine zone basis and thus without synthetic chlorine, which ensures an allergy-friendly treatment.

CLIMANEUTRAL
The new Dolomites Lodge was built as climate house A with low energy consumption. Natural materials like stone, wood, iron and glass have been used.

A large part of our energy supply is covered by our own combined heat and power plant. This installation produces free and ecological heat, which we in turn use for the entire building.

Our panorama infinity pool with its polyurethane tank also consumes 30 % less energy than a comparable stainless steel or concrete tank. The sophisticated spillway, the disinfection system and the heat recovery save a further 20 % in energy costs.

CAR-FREE HOLIDAYS
As a town without through traffic and with a sustainable mobility concept, San Vigilio offers the unique opportunity to explore the natural landscape without using the car. In summer you can easily reach all hiking destinations in the region with the free shuttles and various cable cars.

San Vigilio offers a number of destinations and possibilities for your mountain experiences: from easy walks with the family, for example to the little beach ” Ciamaor” on the banks of the stream, over very strenuous mountain hikes, to trekking tours to high alpine pastures or peaks. In the near future, a via ferrata will also be built directly in San Vigilio – the only via ferrata in the nearer surroundings – to the “Piz da Peres” mountain peak, which can be reached either directly from San Vigilio or from the Passo Furcia.

ZIPLINE
Adrenaline? As much as you want! The Adrenaline X-Treme Adventures Park lies right next to our resort in San Vigilio. Here you will find the largest Zipline in Europe.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
Set out on our region’s cross-country trails and experience the fascinating mountain backdrop of the Dolomites up close – your health will also thank you for it, since cross- country skiing is a gentle and effective way of training your muscles. The speed – sometimes faster, sometimes slower – adds to the fun and sensation of pure happiness, imposing summits looking down on you majestically from above.

One cross-country trail runs 24 km from San Vigilio to Pederü. It is suitable for all ability levels, groomed for classic as well as “skating” technique. Even rookies will be excited by just how beautiful an excursion on skis, either along the valley bottom or on one of the alpine trails in the Dolomites, can be.

SLEIGH RIDES
