The Helm Hotel is located in Vierschach near Innichen, in the South Tyrolean Pustertal and in the heart of the Sextner Dolomites. Our hotel is the ideal hotel in Hochpustertal for you. The Helm cableway is only 300 metres from our hotel, the cross-country ski runs as well as numerous hikes and bicycle tours start directly at our hotel.
In addition, the Helm Hotel offers comfortable and cosy rooms, a good cuisine, a lounge with a fireplace, our nice and new ALMA – spa area, an indoor play room and an outdoor playground as well as a friendly and personal atmosphere.
We have renewed and enlarged our Helm Hotel this year. It has been important to us to keep up the tradition of our house but at the same time to adapt it to modern standards.
Thus, the new hotel is made of wood with eight new comfort rooms and two suites. You will have a nice time in our rooms that are South Tyrolean style but have, nevertheless, a modern touch. You will have a magnificent view from the balcony.
We have opted for a wood construction because we love nature and try to live up to our ecological principles but also because we wanted to create a particularly comfortable atmosphere for you. We have chosen local materials and warm colours for our furniture which add to the cosy and warm atmosphere.
In the same way, the new lounge impresses our guests with its comfortable atmosphere. Here you’ll find a fireplace, fine seats, magazines and a plasma TV screen.
While adults enjoy a good glass of wine or read a book in our lounge, children have fun in the playroom or on the playground. You will be served culinary delights in the inviting new dining room that captivates our guests with its comfort and light.
You will relax and get new energy in our spa area “ALMA” that includes a Finnish sauna, a Turkish steam bath, an infra-red cabin, a refreshment bar with tea and different types of juice and a relaxation room with a view of the Dolomites.
In addition, in summer, you will enjoy our outdoor swimming pool heated with solar energy. We hope to see you for your holiday with your family, for skiing or hiking in South Tyrol.
DINING
A beautiful holiday in South Tyrol includes good meals and South Tyrolean specialities. In the morning you will enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Helm Hotel: you can choose from a variety of food at our breakfast buffet that includes different types of bread, juice, tea, muesli, jam, cheese, sliced sausage, ham, bacon, fresh eggs and a lot more.
We recommend you our restaurant and pizzeria for a little snack later in the day or for your lunch. If you go skiing on the Helm, you will be treated to a good meal at the Rauthütte.
At dinner you will enjoy a four-course meal of your choice including salads and Italian antipasti from our buffet, a main course and sweet desserts. Our chefs will treat you to light Mediterranean dishes as well as the most delicious South Tyrolean specialities.
When choosing their ingredients, they use only high-quality local products that are preferably biological. Our theme nights such as the Tyrolean night, the starter or dessert night offer you a lot of entertainment. In summer you will enjoy delicious barbecues.
THE SPA
A holiday is a time to enjoy yourself and relax! After an exciting day on the ski slopes you will relax in our bright “ALMA” spa area. In summer you will, in addition, benefit from our outdoor swimming pool with streams of air and massage jets. It is heated with solar energy. The swimming pool is surrounded by a large lawn for you to sunbathe and relax!

SKIING HOLIDAY
Innichen and the Hochpustertal offer you a fantastic winter holiday at the foot of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo.You will enjoy 90km of slopes, 30modern ski lifts, a spectacular mountain view and slopes of all difficulties! In addition, the Hochpustertal ski resort is part of the Dolomiti Superski with 450 ski lifts and 1,220 km of slopes altogether.
Use several ski resorts in Hochpustertal with one ski pass: The Hochpustertal ski resort is a lot of fun for beginners, proficient skiers and for families! 7 ski resorts, 1 ski pass… and, in addition, a spectacular mountain view. Only the Hochpustertal can offer you so much!
Ski and enjoy the magnificent view of the Helm and the Sextener sundial… there are 21 km of slopes. The cableway is at only 300 m from the Helm Hotel… the hotel’s free shuttle service will take you there! The Helm ski resort has a slope of almost 5 km, the longest slope in Hochpustertal!
The cableway will take you from Bad Moos to the winter wonderland of the Rotwandwiesen that is surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Dolomites! This ski resort is ideal for families! The huge snowmen and ice castles, the adventurous sledge run, a ride in a carriage pulled by reindeer, a timekeeper and a playground for children are very popular.
Starting in Innichen, you will explore the slopes of the Haunold range that are of easy to medium difficulty. Snowboarders will have a very good time in the snowboard park. If you have the Hochpustertal ski pass, you are also admitted to the ski resorts of Toblach, Prags, Kreuzbergpass, Val Comelico and Waldheim!
SUMMER HOLIDAY
Can you think of anything more relaxing than jumping into cool water after an exciting day out in nature… children enjoy themselves splashing around… or you spend a whole day just relaxing and swimming!
