Built in 1926, the Montalembert Hotel is the first 5-star boutique hotel on the Left Bank and stands out for its literary dimension and its chic and intimate atmosphere.

Ideally located on the left bank in the heart of Saint Germain-des-Prés, a stone’s throw from the Louvre Museum and the Orsay Museum, the Montalembert hotel combines discreet luxury and contemporary design.

Like precious cocoons, the rooms and suites of the Hotel Montalembert will transport you to a chic and elegant universe. A sublime play of materials makes reference to the luxurious classic spirit: precious woods, aged brass, bronze medallion with patina, orange and yellow leather for the seats or wild silk for the curtains.

Central point of the house, the Montalembert restaurant reminds us of the Paris of yesteryear … White marble, dark woodwork, dark wooden floors … all the elements are there for you to fully enjoy your meal! When the warm weather arrives, share a moment of relaxation on our sunny terrace while savoring a daring and refined cuisine.

The cozy atmosphere of the fireplace, the sunny terrace in the summer, or the privacy of the Gallimard lounge, all is an invitation to succumb to the charm and refinement of the Left Bank.

From the first days of autumn, nothing is more pleasant than relaxing and enjoying a moment of relaxation and reading, a tea, an aperitif or even a light lunch, the corner fireplace is the perfect place.

It was not the first, but it was part of the desire of the owner, Anne Jousse, to “wake up” her house. And because the Montalembert hotel created the event by being the first “Boutique Hotel” in Paris, twenty-five years ago, it was natural to recreate a major event, without being limited to a concept .

“This hotel is listed in its neighborhood explains Anne Jousse. This is the hotel for writers and artists. So we wanted to keep this spirit, and especially for the restaurant which is one of those places frequented by a clientele regulars. “
