JUNIOR SUITES

Each Confort Suites have their own private terrace looking over the vineyards of the Château Smith Haut Lafitte or the hotel lake. TERROIR AND TRADITIONS
La Table du Lavoir serves delicious, unusual, bistro-style food with the finest seasonal products. Meat roasting in the huge period fireplace releases delicious smells while clients read menus written on antique laundry beaters. The unmatched cutlery, purchased by weight, sits atop traditional and antique tablecloths.
THE OLD WASHING HOUSE
In the center of the room, the wash house, that has since been rebuilt stone by stone, pay tribute to the winegrower’s wives who used to come here to do the washing in the 19th century.
The roof structure was built with 18th century beams recovered from cellars at Château Lafite-Rothschild, and the glass door can be opened, weather permitting to enjoy meals on the covered terrace.

On Saturday and Sunday morning, between 9am & 12pm, from April to October, our coach Julien is available for a free session! A one-hour lesson can be reserved for children aged four and up.
Power walk or run in the vineyards, cycling in the forest, cardiovascular fitness and muscle strength, tennis lesson, Julien can adapt to all your wishes. We can also take you for a two hours hiking through the vineyards, and discovering the magnificent châteaux in the area.
SWIMMING POOL
The indoor swimming pool, housed in a superb greenhouse, is open every day. Thanks to the artist Mathilde de l’Ecotais, you will live a unique experience: swimming in a work of art. Indeed, the photographer has installed a photo enlarged at the bottom of the swimming pool.
The 25-metre, heated, outdoor swimming pool is opened from May to October. The outside hot tub, responding to the famous barrel bath, is opened the whole year. You will lounge in a water drawn from a natural hot spring, 540 meters beneath the earth.

ARCACHON BAY
The Atlantic Ocean and its endless white-sand beaches beckon, less than an hour from Les Sources de Caudalie. La Dune du Pyla, the highest sand-dune in Europe, marks the entrance to Arcachon Bay.
A boat trip around Arcachon Bay on the Caudalie, a traditional pinnace seating up to 12 passengers, features “cabanes tchanquées” – wooden houses on stilts – on the Ile aux Oiseaux, and views of the Banc d’Arguin and the Cap Ferret peninsula.

SAINT-EMILION
Located 45 minutes from the hotel, the village of Saint Emilion features outstanding architecture on narrow cobblestone streets and shaded squares. The medieval village has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.
Although the architecture is quite outstanding, wine lovers are even more attracted by the famous local red wine. Amazingly diverse terroirs account for enormous variety. The appellation is comprised of Saint-Emilion and 7 neighbouring communes with a total of nearly 5,200 hectares of vines.
