NATURNO/NATURNS
Unforgettable impressions and experiences of the diverse nature and culture. Naturns has history. The romantic little St. Proculus church has the oldest frescoes in the German linguistic area and a special relationship to the mummy of the prehistoric man found not far from here.
Overlooking Naturns is Juval Castle, now summer residence of extreme mountain climber Reinhold Messner. Guided tours are organised in Spring ans Autumn.
SIGHTSEEING
In the village centre of Naturns there are numerous facilities, historical buildings and a variety of art and culture exhibitions to visit. Particularly worth a mention are the St. Prokulus Church and the Prokulus museum with its historical frescoes and excavations from the days of the Plague, Reinhold Messner’s Juval Castle, the Texel Group Nature Park and the St. Zeno parish church.

CYCLING
The Belvedere Hotel in Naturns has embraced cycling enthusiasts in a particularly special way. Because we are a member of the Ötzi Bike Academy in Naturns, you’ll have numerous benefits such as daily guided bike tours.
The front desk would be happy to help you with planning your cycling tours at any time. If you don’t want to bring your bike with you to Naturns, you can borrow a city bike, e-bike or mountain bike at our hotel.
The Naturns Bike Academy focuses on pleasant, healthy exercise in natural surroundings and thus on the growing trend of health sports. The lonesome battle against the stopwatch does not take priority for us.
We focus on team-oriented cycling in groups. According to your training level, there is exactly the right thing for everyone – from complete beginners to extreme cyclists.
CLIMBING
The new Hoachwool via ferrata offers exciting tours on the rocks for experienced climbers with views of Juval Castle. The challenging and varied topology crossings, the steep cliffs and the old Kandln (originally laid in 1833 as a water pipe) make this via ferrata unique.
Visitors will need a climbing helmet and harness with via ferrata climbing set, suitable footwear, special gloves, and adequate fluids and food. Those who prefer to attack the via ferrata accompanied by a mountain guide can turn to the builder of the via ferrata, local mountain guide Ludwig Gorfer.
NATURE FITNESS PARK®
The largest Nature Fitness Park® of the Alps is located in Naturno/Naturns. The 31-kilometer MTB path and the 15-kilometer inline skating route are ideal for getting in shape. The four Alpine Well-Fit Stations along the Plaus forest trail allow guest to relax on the trail.
All routes in the Nature Fitness Park® in Naturno are marked according to length, altitude difference and tread conditions. Large starting panels also provide advice on the correct approach to training.
TENNIS
Tennis in Naturno/Naturns is a leisure activity suitable for both young and old. There are four outdoor clay tennis courts and a tennis hall with four courts made from joint-friendly rubber granules.
