LOCATION & CLIMATE
Just 20 miles south of Maceio, the capital of the state of Alagoas, Kenoa – Exclusive Beach Spa & Resort is located in the Barra de Sao Miguel, one of the most tranquil and beautiful locations on Brazil’s northeast coast.

Kenoa – Exclusive Beach Spa & Resort is privileged with a single season year-round. Merely 9 degrees south of the equator, the region presents a tropical climate and a sea water temperature that is invariably pleasant – indeed, summer all year round.

KENOA VILLA
The kenoa villa is eccentric, indeed a rustic luxury residence in harmony with nature’s seascape. The 200 square meters accommodation boasts its own infinity-edged plunge pool heated by solar energy with an average of 28ºC, a traditional Japanese ofuro tub made of fragrant hand-planed cedar wood, an outside deck in a private garden accented with beach grass.

APOENA SUITES
High above the neighboring natural reserve with a panoramic view of the unspoiled Atlantic coast, the apoena suites offer a landscape vista with rare charm. With a generous personal space of 45 m² the suite is divided into a bedroom, a bathroom with an interior garden, and a terrace complete with a sweeping view and a traditional Japanese ufuro tub made of fragrant hand-planed cedar wood.

The 10 apoena suites also offer a king-size bed, Egyptian cotton sheets, goose-down pillows, double vanity bathroom basins, minibar, personal electronic safe, CD/DVD Player, LCD TV with USB connection, a memory card reader to enjoy photos on the TV screen, writing desk and Wi-Fi internet.

KAAMO RESTAURANTE
Food today plays a key role, making some restaurants true centers of attraction. The kaamo restaurant, with the supervision of the renowned chef César Santos, is located in the central area of the resort with a distinctive decor and a magnetically attractive view of the sea. The space is designed to be the foci of the resort.

WINE BAR

Our wish is to create good memories by promoting experiences. We can organize a trip to the stunning Sao Francisco river mouth to explore its trails and waterfalls. Enjoy every type of diving, from snorkeling to scuba diving, to unravel underwater beauties.

For surf or kite surf l overs we have experienced instructors. And what can be said about walking on the beach during sunset to discover exotic birds such as the rendeiras? You can even go horseback riding on the beach.

But our main experiences were conceived and developed to the detail and you can’t leave them out of our KENOA itinerary. Each experience explores the nature around and creates unexpected and unique sensations.

BOAT EXPERIENCE
A comfortable speedboat ride to explore Barra de Sao Miguel and its lagoons, mangroves, islands, deserted beaches and coral reefs. Enjoy everything this paradise of the waters can offer you.

OYSTER EXPERIENCE
A canoe visit to an oyster nursery in the middle of a lagoon including a tasting in the water. It doesn’t get any fresher than that. However, this ride is much more than a gastronomic experience.

We explore mangroves; experience the village where oyster and honey producers live in taipa houses and the people are full of joy. Plus, we discover river springs and all the lush unspoiled nature around.
