MAJORELLE RESTAURANT 
Celebrated restaurateur Charles Masson and his creative culinary team, under the leadership of Chef Emmanuel Niess, crafted a menu of French classics with Mediterranean influences from the Riviera to Morocco.

THE CENTRAL PARK
Central Park stretches 3 avenues wide from 59th street all the way up to 110th street. The park offers plenty of activities for all seasons: From April through November, one can row boats under Row Bridge on Central Park’s second largest water body.

Rent your row boats or gondolas tours at the Loeb Boathouse anytime between 10 am until dusk. Boats — which hold up to 4 people — are $15 per hour (cash only), $4 for each additional 15min with a $20 cash deposit.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Additionally, classic Venetian gondola tours can be reserved for $45 per half hour. The boats hold up to 6 people. Enter the park on 72nd and 5th and follow the path to the boathouse.

One can also enjoy a relaxing picnic on The Great Lawn, located mid-park between 79th and 85th street or on the steps at the Bethesda Terrace, located mid-park on 72nd street.

If you’re looking to go on a run, the Jacqueline Kennedy reservoir has a 1.58 mile running path with a beautiful view of the water and NYC’s cityscapes, located between 86th and 96th street and 5th.

Another running option is the wide, most flat, dirt Bridle Path, which circles just below the reservoir’s main path. Start your run by entering the park on 90th street and 5th avenue, which will put you right on the path for a 2.5 mile run.

From visiting a tropical rainforest with rare birds to an icy antarctic to view penguins, Central Park Zoo offers a wide range of activities and events to interact with animals. It’s a great place to visit with kids, as well as a fun experience for adults.

THE FRICK
The Frick, located at Henry Frick’s 18th century, french styled home, features his famous art collection. The exhibit has has paintings and sculptures from some of the world’s most renowned artists, such as Billini, Titian, Vermeer, Whistler, Goya and more.

The Frick also offers various educational programs through lectures by museum educators and curators, music and dance performances, courses and conversations, drawing programs etc. The exhibit is on 70th between madison and 5th avenue, a 10 min walk or 6 min drive from the Lowell Hotel.

THE MET FIFTH AVENUE
Through its exhibits and events, The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The MET) explores all cultures through 5,000 years of artwork. The museum is sectioned into 3 sites: The MET Fifth Avenue, The MET Breuer, and The MET Cloisters.

Each month, The MET offers hundreds of events and programs through lectures, films, tours, performances, family activities etc. The MET is one of the most visited museums in the world, and the largest museum in the United States.

From European paintings, sculptures and drawings to armor and weapons from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and America, the MET Fifth Avenue introduces an abundance of art in 17 curatorial departments. The entrance is on 86th street and 5th avenue, a 20min walk or 10 min car ride from the Lowell Hotel.

BLOOMINGDALES, BARNEYS & BERGDORF GOODMAN 
Bloomingdale’s, Barney’s, and Bergdorf Goodman — also known as “the three B’s” — are three main department stores in New York City. Bloomingdales sells both mid-priced products and high-end designer brands.

The store has a range of cafes and restaurants to choose from: 40 carrots (frozen yogurt, fresh juices and smoothies), Magnolia Bakery (cupcakes), David Burke, and Le Train Bleu. Bloomingdales is located on 59th street and lexington, which is an 8min walk from the Lowell Hotel.

Barney’s primarily sells luxury designer brands. It has both a relaxing cafe, Genes, which offers salads, sandwiches, juices, and coffee, and a high-end restaurant on the top floor, Fred’s. Barney’s is located on 61st street and madison, which is a 4min walk from the Lowell Hotel.

Bergdorf Goodman also primarily sells luxury designer brands. Its high-end restaurant, BG Restaurant, has a beautiful view of Central Park. Bergdorf Goodman is located on 58th street and 5th, which is a 7min walk from the Lowell Hotel.

ST. PATRICK’S CATHEDRAL
This church does not only attract those of the Catholic faith: its 13th-century gothic style and artful stain glass windows attract more than 5 million people of different nationalities and faiths a year. In a prominent part of NYC, the St. Patrick’s Cathedral is found on 51st street and 5th avenue.
