Each 700 sq ft Garden Suite boasts high ceilings with original exposed beams and heart pine wood floors. The large ensuite bathroom includes a double vanity, floor to ceiling marble shower, and a stunning built-in armoire.

GRAND KING
This 310 sq ft room has hand-stenciled walls, high ceilings, a fireplace, heartwood floors, and a king-size four-poster bed with a slender iron frame. There’s an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in marble shower.

PIAZZA KING
This bright 290sq ft room opens onto the verandah and has dove-grey Farrow & Ball wallpaper, natural heart pine floors, and high ceilings. The king-size bed is dressed in Frette linens, and there’s an ensuite bathroom with a fireplace by the marble shower.

LOFT KING
This 420sq ft room at the top of the house is full of character, with exposed beams and brickwork, along with views over the neighborhood from the eaves-set windows. The king-size bed is dressed in Frette linens, and there’s an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in marble shower.

NATHANIEL RUSSELL HOUSE
Built by slave trader and wealthy merchant Nathaniel Russell in 1808, it is recognized as one of America’s most important Neoclassical houses.

AIKEN-RHETT HOUSE
Built in 1820 by merchant John Robinson, the Aiken-Rhett House is nationally significant as one of the best-preserved townhouse complexes in the nation. Vastly expanded by Governor and Mrs. William Aiken, Jr. in the 1830s and again in the 1850s, the house and its outbuildings include a kitchen, the original slave quarters, carriage block and back lot.

The house and its surviving furnishings offer a compelling portrait of urban life in antebellum Charleston, as well as a Southern politician, slaveholder and industrialist.

EDMONDATON – ALSTON HOUSE
Edmondston-Alston House commands a magnificent view of Charleston Harbor. Constructed in 1825 and enhanced in 1838, the house was ideally situated to provide a vantage point from which General P.G.T. Beauregard could observe the fierce bombardment of Ft. Sumter on April 12, 1861, signaling the start of the Civil War.

FRENCH HUGUENOT CHURCH
The Huguenot Church, also called the French Huguenot Church or the French Protestant Church, is a Gothic Revival church located in Charleston’s historic French Quarter.

ST MICHAEL’S CHURCH
St. Michael’s Church is the oldest surviving religious structure in Charleston, South Carolina. It is located at Broad and Meeting streets on one of the Four Corners of Law, and represents ecclesiastical law. It was built in the 1750s by order of the South Carolina Assembly.

AN AFTERNOON IN THE LOWCOUNTRY

DRAYTON HALL
The iconic 18th-century estate in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Founded in 1738, Drayton Hall is the nation’s earliest example of fully executed Palladian architecture and the oldest preserved plantation house in America still open to the public.

MIDDLETON PLACE
A National Historic Landmark and home to the oldest landscaped gardens in America.

THE ANGEL OAK 
The is thought to be one of the oldest living oak trees east of the Mississippi River. Estimated to be 400-500 years old, this Southern live oak has survived a number of hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes. It was damaged by Hurricane Hugo in 1989 but recovered and continues to grow.

Its name comes from the Angel Estate, owned by couple Justus Angel and Martha Waight Angel. However, local legends say the ghosts of former slaves appear as angels around the tree.

SULLIVAN’S ISLAND
Sullivan’s Island is a two and a half-mile long barrier island at the entrance to Charleston Harbor. The island was settled in the late 17th Century by Captain Florence O’Sullivan while he was stationed as a lookout. It has a strong military background having been the site of a major Revolutionary War battle, The Battle of Sullivan’s Island, as well as being involved in the first shots of the American Civil War.
