Each object that surrounds you was made by local artisans, no mass production here. Enjoy The Beautiful experience, in an authentic and exclusive stay. This is the atmosphere at Granarola Castle.

THE HISTORY

In December 2008 BRANDINA begins the restoration of the ancient Castle of Granarola, one of the precious few remaining castles of the lands of Malatesta.

In the belief that the artistic, historical and architectural Italian heritage should be preserved, BRANDINA took care privately of the purchase and the complete renovation of the Castle.

The love for the land kicked off the project, together with the desire to getting around the degradation, the artistic and historical neglect thatdisfigures the beautiful country. BRANDINA has dedicated their ideas and energies to this restoration, to bring in 4 years the complete structure to its ancient glory.

The building site has involved laborers of the area and local professionals, preserving the architectural identity of the Castle and redesigning its interiors. In continuity with the unique history of this place, the name of the Castle wasn’t changed.

THE ART OF SELLING A BAG SUITE
The Art of Selling a Bag by Marco Morosini explores the relazionship between Design, Art and Industry. Art must be freed from the finance that box has imprisioned, he has to go back with us.

We must learn to dream knowing dreaming, hoping tha the world will be saved by beauty of creativity and not be power. Art today is an abstract entity imprisoned in sterile white galleries, controlled by invisible gatekeepers and guarded by visible but hostile receptionists, eyes fixed on their monitors.

Art can, and must, be reborn, become closer to the people and the everyday. Art has been through many revolutions, it’s time for another. Artists must once more find the courage of their convictions and no longer submit to a system ruled purely by economic considerations.

They must find new life, return to creating and believing in themselves and disseminate the power of expression. A new dimension is needed in art, one that offers businesses the powerful, strategic weapon of spontaneous creativity.

They should not merely be sponsors of exhibitions and events but should themselves become part of the creative process by involving artists and proposing the new and the unexpected. Companies should find their way out of their Excel files and the managerial rigor that can so easily become a negative filter to creativity.

Art must be released from the financial prison in which it is currently held and return among the people. There is no shortage of inspiration. One font was a trip from Cattolica to Bellaria that gave rise to Brandina without worrying whether it was art or business. Welcome to the new world, welcome to “The Art of Selling a Bag”.
