The decoration of our establishment, Hotel Pastel Paris, was inspired by the elegance of the residents of our borough by taking the codes of famous perfumers and couturiers of brands such as Hermès, Dior or Chanel.

A beautiful jewel in a chic neighborhood, nestled in a small street in the 16th arrondissement, a stone’s throw from Place de l’Etoile and Avenue Kléber. A confidential hotel with pastel intonations, powdered, cozy and comfortable.

A central circular sofa decorates the lobby, featuring a mosaic pattern with a houndstooth pattern emblazoned with bright flowers. The soft-colored rooms offer all the contemporary comforts of a 3-star boutique hotel.

A cozy and intimate Cocoon in which the decoration combines fabrics, velvet and furniture referring to the famous creators. The 5 rooms on the top floor belonging to the Original category have roof windows … Allow you to sleep the head in the stars near the Etoile.

ELYSEE PALACE
The Élysée Palace, known as the Élysée, is a former Parisian mansion, located at no 55 rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. It is the seat of the Presidency of the French Republic and the official residence of the Head of State since the Second Republic.

NAVY MUSEUM
The National Maritime Museum comes from a collection offered to King Louis XV by Henri Louis Duhamel du Monceau installed in the Louvre from 1752 to 1793, then from 1827 to 1939. Its collections, including more than 1,000 objects, retrace the rich French maritime history.

MUSÉE DE L’HOMME
The Musée de l’Homme is a French national museum installed since 1937 in the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, whose vocation is to present the human race in its anthropological, historical and cultural diversity.

CITÉ DE L’ARCHITECTURE ET DU PATRIMOINE
The City of Architecture and Heritage, located in the “Paris” wing of the Palais de Chaillot is, with its 22,000 m², the largest architectural center in the world.

AQUARIUM DE PARIS
The Paris Aquarium, also called Cinéaqua, is an aquarium located under the Chaillot hill between the Trocadéro and the Seine, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was built in 1867, making it the world’s first aquarium.

L’AVENUE DES CHAMPS-ELYSÉES
Le Nôtre, who was commissioned by King Louis XIV to redesign the Tuileries Gardens, decided to create a large artery that would leave the king an uncluttered view of the trajectory of the sun until it set.

It became The Champs-Élysées! No surprise from the Sun King who foresaw here the triumphant success of this regal avenue! The avenue spreads from the Place de la Concorde to the Place de l’Etoile. Today it is considered the most beautiful avenue in the world.

LA TOUR EIFFEL
This 324 meter-high giant overlooks the Gardens of the Trocadero. Built between 1887 and 1889 by Gustave Eiffel for Paris’s world fair, this “grand lady” has now become the emblem of Paris.

L’ARC DE TRIOMPHE
Commissioned in 1806 by Napoleon 1st to glorify French troops, and achieved 30 years later under the reign of Louis Philippe, the Arc de Triomphe is the work of architect Jean-François Chalgrin.

Situated in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle – Etoile and offering a splendid architecture evocative of ancient arches, it marks the beginning of the Champs-Elysées.

Its pedestals are decorated with 4 allegorical high reliefs by artists Cortot, Etex and Rude, including the famous “Marseillaise”. Situated half-way between the Louvre Museum and the Great Arch at the Défense business district it links ancient and modern Paris.

BACCARAT MUSEUM – CRYSTAL GLASS COLLECTIONS
The museum presents a splendid collection of crystal masterpieces created for universal exhibitions, and for which Baccarat always won gold medals or top awards.

GUIMET MUSEUM – ASIAN ART NATIONAL MUSEUM
Emile Guimet (1836-1918), a great captain of industry from Lyons, had for project to open a museum showcasing Egyptian religious art, as well as art pieces from antique Asian civilisations.

Throughout his travels he collected a great number of pieces first presented in Lyons in 1879. In 1889, he transferred his collections to a new museum which he opened in Paris.

PALAIS GALLIERA – FASHION AND COSTUME MUSEUM
The Fashion museum opened in 1977 in the 19th century palace of Duchess of Galliera. Its prestigious temporary exhibitions offer an insight on the history of fashion.

The museum has a collection of 90 000 pieces spanning 3 centuries: from splendid costumes dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, to contemporary haute-couture works.

MUSÉE YVES SAINT-LAURENT
The Yves Saint Laurent Museum, inaugurated on 3 October 2017, presents dresses, accessories, costume sketches, photos and videos to the public in a 450 m² exhibition space.

This museum, dedicated to one of the most iconic couturiers of the 20th century, is housed in a Second Empire mansion, in which the designer’s teams worked for 30 years.

Highlights include the reception rooms formerly open to clients, more than 5,000 prototype dresses prototypes and the Studio, the nerve centre where all the collections were designed.

MUSEUM OF MODERN ART
This museum, located in the Palace of Tokyo (Palais de Tokyo) built for the 1937 Arts and Techniques Paris Exhibition, opened its doors in 1961 showcasing works of « modern » art from the Petit Palais, as well as collections from private donators such as Emanuele Sarmiento, Mathilde Amos and Ambroise Vollard.

THE PALAIS DE CHAILLOT
The Palais de Chaillot is home to several museums including the Musée de l’Homme (museum of Mankind), the Musée du Cinéma (Cinema Museum), the Musée de la Marine (a maritime museum presenting collections that once belonged to King Louis XV, today the museum showcases temporary exhibitions and permanent collections of maritime artefacts from all over the world), the Cinémathèque and the national theatre of Chaillot.

THE PETIT PALAIS
Built for the 1900 Paris Exhibition and officially open on 11 December 1902 as the Paris Art Gallery, it is located near the prestigious gardens of the Champs-Élysées, and is part of a monumental complex.

THE GRAND PALAIS
Built for the 1900 Paris Exhibition, it is home to the Palais de la Découverte, dedicated to science and its applications (since 1937), the national art galleries of the Grand Palais (since 1964), and the recently-restored nave, a splendid cultural and events venue.

WINE MUSEUM
The wine cellars, first set up in Medieval quarries by brothers from a convent in Passy, were turned into a museum in 1984 by the Conseil des Echansons de France (France’s Council of Cupbearers).

This museum bears witness to France’s rich and varied wine heritage, showcasing tools and artefacts related to wine and vine production. Entrance price includes one glass of wine.

BALZAC’S HOUSE
Located in the heart of the old village of Passy, this Parisian home is Balzac’s only remaining home. Balzac lived here between 1840 and 1847, where he wrote La Comédie humaine. He also wrote many major works here including La Rabouilleuse, Splendeurs et misères des courtisanes, La Cousine Bette and Le Cousin Pons.

In 1949, the house was bought by the city of Paris and turned into a museum presenting the author’s life story and his works. Alibrary was later added, it contains original manuscripts.

FONDATION LOUIS VUITTON
The Fondation Louis Vuitton, situated in the Bois de Boulogne, opened its doors on 27 October 2014. The Foundation’s exceptional contemporary art collections (permanent and temporary) are exhibited in an architectural gem designed by the American Frank Gehry.

This visionary architect has revolutionised the use of glass and created previously unimagined shapes to produce a unique and innovative light and airy building.

In addition to the artistic and architectural richness of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, the visitor is also afforded wonderful panoramic views from the various terraces of the building.

LES CHAMPS ELYSÉES
Stretching for almost 2 kilometers, the one that is nicknamed “The most beautiful avenue in the world” will not cease to amaze you.

It hosts the most luxurious fashion brands and flagships of many brands from different universes. There are also souvenir shops here, to keep an indelible trace or to offer a glimpse of a stay in our beautiful capital.

LA RUE DU FAUBOURG SAINT HONORÉ
A fashion showcase, this famous street is home to the biggest haute couture houses, for luxury shopping. After admiring sumptuous creations, the continuation of the visit takes us straight to the Elysées Palace, the official residence of the President of the Republic, located at number 55.

LA RUE DE PASSY
For efficient, chic and classic shopping, you’ve come to the right place. This street is one of the busiest shopping streets in the very prestigious 16th arrondissement of Paris. The Passy Plaza shopping center, an uncluttered and bright space, hosts around 25 stores of multiple brands.

LA GRANDE ÉPICERIE DE PARIS – PASSY
Little sister of the Grande Epicerie de Paris located in the Bon Marché Rive Gauche, it has nothing to envy. A true temple of gastronomy, this shop offers many universes such as products from around the world, a cellar, a market-style fruit and vegetable stand, a fishmonger, a tea and coffee counter, a butcher, rotisserie and charcuterie, a brasserie corner, a cheese factory and a space dedicated to luxury products.

LES GRANDS MAGASINS
True temples of shopping, Printemps and Galeries Lafayette are the must-see stores on Boulevard Haussmann. Their legendary Art-Deco glass roofs house the most prestigious fashion brands. For a shopping session or a simple curiosity visit, the Department Stores know how to delight their public.

LA PLACE VENDÔME ET LA RUE DE LA PAIX
Before becoming the contemporary benchmark in terms of jewelry, rue de la Paix and place Vendôme were the heart of Parisian elegance, once home to many couturiers and milliners. Many watchmakers have also taken up residence there since.

CHÂTELET ET LA RUE DE RIVOLI
Ideal for affordable shopping, this district offers a wide range of consumer brands at low prices. The rue de Rivoli extending to Place de la Concorde, it offers a pleasant setting for mixing a stroll through the heart of Paris and window shopping. If the weather is not there, you can go shopping in Les Halles, the famous shopping center located in Châtelet.
